Beautiful open floor plan with stunning lake views! Five bedrooms (four with one queen bed in each, one with two sets of twin bunk beds); also a queen sleeper sofa in the basement movie room and two futons in the upstairs bonus room. Four and one half baths. Large main-level kitchen with plenty of cabinet and counter space and table for six; adjacent dining room seats ten. Located on Lake Norman just north of Mooresville, NC in a quiet neighborhood area off the main channel. This property has all of the extras with space for everyone to feel comfortable while enjoying their stay.
Fully finished basement includes ping pong and foosball table along with a dart board, movie room, and a kitchen area with refrigerator, ice maker, and dishwasher. This incredible space just keeps on going opening onto an expansive outdoor area with a fire pit, hot tub, and large, level yard. Patio area also includes a grill surrounded by a granite top bar with seating for eight. Fourth floor is an open, finished space with beautiful lake views and plenty of room for your air mattresses or sleeping bags.

Our family just enjoyed a week at this beautiful home. We unanimously decided it was one of our top vacations! We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard and our time on the water, and we were very comfortable in the home. Kirk was a gracious host and we would rent again from him if we get the opportunity!

Our group of 10 neighborhood friends played in a state tennis tournament over the weekend and rented this house. The location was great and house amenities - hot tub, ping pong table, dock, all got lots of use. The owner, Kirk, lives next door and was responsive to all queries and requests and more than made up for a mixup in the cleaning service by allowing us a late check out on Sunday. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely use again.

Great home to host our extended family reunion. We really appreciated the large kitchen and basement play area/movie room - all large enough for our group to gather in. Outside hot tube was great for little kids and adults alike. Easy access to the lake and excellent communication with host throughout. Would recommend!

Kirks home on the lake was just perfect! We had 3 families plus all off our lake toys. Kirk met us at the house to give us a tour and then it was vacation time. The dock was perfect because we had jet skis with tubes and a few fishermen took advantage of fishing from the dock! Plenty of indoor space for sleeping and just chilling! Loved the full 2 kitchens! In the evenings we took advantage of using the fire pit outside and hot tub after a hard day of playing in the lake. Thank you Kirk for the use of your spacious lake house! We have lots of lake memories for our families to share!

This property is spectacular and has all the trimmings needed for an awesome stay. Great indoor and outdoor spaces, enough room for everyone. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen and convenient to the grocery store. Plenty of room for family dinners. Having all the linens provided was super convenient for those of us flying in from out of state. We played games, had epic ping pong battles, set up lawn games, and rented a pontoon boat from a nearby service who dropped off the boat and picked it up from our dock. The house is on a beautiful and quiet part of the lake. Perfect for kayaks or paddle boards. The house was only an hour from Charlotte airport. We had the best week! We look forward to another visit to Lake Norman!

The pictures on VRBO do not do this house justice. It is so open, bright and spacious and with 16 people we did not feel cramped in the least. This property has everything to make the most of a sunny day on the lake or a rainy day inside. We had zero issues, but the owner was quick to respond to all of our general questions. We 100% would return for another perfect week on the lake!

Perfect lake vacation.
This quiet neighborhood on Lake Norman was the perfect lake vacation. The house easily accommodated 7 adults and one infant. It offers a great balance of gathering places with plenty of room to spread out. The backyard is a highlight! The outdoor grill and clean hot tub were used daily. Loving the lake life!

Large house with great lake views
We enjoyed our stay at the house over Christmas. The house is very large, well equipped and easily accommodated our group of 8. Tha main reason we chose this house was that the dining room table could seat 8 so we could all enjoy Christmas dinner together. The lake views are awesome, and we were able to enjoy the lake, dock, patio and hot tub due to the unseasonably warm weather. Kirk explained all the amenities very well and was very responsive when we had a question.
The cleanliness of the house left something to be desired. The floors were quite dirty, kitchen utensils needed to be cleaned before use and towels were stained and a bit threadbare.

Family Thanksgiving Weekend
Awesome time away with extended family over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Kirk was easy to work with, accommodating to requests, and always quick to respond to questions. The house and its grounds were an amazing backdrop to our long overdue family gathering. Plenty of space to gather, to eat, to visit and to play!! We put many of the amenities to use (fire pit, hot tub, canoe, dock, to name a few), which made this weekend one to remember! If our future travel plans bring ua back to the Lake Norman area, we hope this house is available!!!

Amazing home!
We had an amazing time! The house is wonderful with plenty of room. We had a total of 6 adults with 5 children. The small beach area was perfect for the kids. They spent the majority of their time in the water, either swimming, or in the hot tub. The ability to sit and relax, or fish, from the dock was great. Our children loved every minute!

The dock was very well maintained and large to hold 2 to 3 boats. We loved how it was setting in a cove so we can swim easily in the water. The water had a sandy beach and easy entry. The outside surroundings were perfect. We were able to have a bonfire with Wood that was left and sat out by the bar by the hot tub. We had so much fun inside playing ping-pong. The sleeping arrangements and numerous bathrooms were Plentiful for such a large group.

Large House on Lovely Lake
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is very large and had plenty of room for our family! The kids (and adults) loved playing on the lakeside beach and jumping off the dock into the lake. The house has life vests available and they made our stay much more enjoyable! The 4th floor of the house is unfurnished and the kids loved it, they called it the scream room, very fun! It was also very nice that the home had soap and toilet paper available. Realizing that this is a very large house that is hard to clean in a span of 5 hours, it could have benefitted from a larger, more thorough cleaning crew. When we arrived the floors felt greasy and we found a piece of glass next to the kitchen. All in all this property is a great place to stay, would happily come back!

Family Lake Trip
Great location on the lake with a nice dock and a small cove that is excellent for swimming safely. Property manager met us and gave a tour of the home. House was cozy, large, and had all amenities required for a great time. Table Tennis, Darts and Foos ball with a kitchen in the basement. Hot tub and fenced in yard with view of the lake. Had a great experience and pleased with everything.

Second time here. Wonderful experience. Kids of all ages had a wonderful time. Plenty of space to gather to eat snd talk, and space to find a quiet place to pray!! Owner near by and helpful if needed. Hope to return in 2022!!

Excellent for large groups!
We had an amazing time with our large group of 3 families. So much to do! House was great and the extra kitchen and game room in the basement was key! The hot tub was perfect for our little kids and we all enjoyed the lake - esp the beach area. Love our time here- will def be back!

This property hit all the boxes on our checklist! Beautiful lake views and access, fishing and boating dock, a sandy beach, flat grassed lawn, a fence to contain the kiddos, a small pool/hot tub, outdoor bar, basement game room, movie room, tons of bedrooms, and wonderful living space for all with excellent views. The house came stocked with lots of the expected and also some bonus items. A selection of board games in the family room was a nice surprise. Bonus rooms had extra sheets and blankets. Everything was very clean and Kirk responded ASAP to our many questions. He even helped us take our family photo. Would highly recommend this property for families looking for a relaxing all-inclusive property to spend a week. 5 stars all around!

Family vacation
What a wonderful week we had! We were a large family group . Teens and adults. We were in the water floating all week. The property was fantastic. The teens all said they had a good time and enjoyed themselves. There was plenty of room for us all to be together comfortably.

The BEST week!
The house and location of this property was absolutely perfect for our extended family vacation. All 15 members of our family, ranging from 4 to 70, enjoyed the entire week. The house had so much room to spread out or gather together for meals. The backyard, the basement (game room), and the dock gave all the kids plenty of things to do. Kirk, the property manager, was so easy to communicate with. He showed us around the house and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly couldn't have asked for a better house. We will be back for sure.

A mansion, but run on a budget
We reserved this home as most others at Lake Norman were booked...we stayed 4 nights with a party of 10, including grandparents and kids. Absolutely gorgeous, big house, tons of room, huge kitchen, and beautiful views of Lake Norman. The hot tub worked extremely well and stayed hot. However, there were a lot of minor flaws that really took away from the home....the fireplace stopped working day 2 as we accidentally turned off the pilot light and it wouldn’t restart as it was broken…the main floor kitchen bathroom had dirty baseboards and walls, and the walls around the door handles in the kitchen area needed cleaning/bleaching....the house needs smart TVs to stream movies, etc.—-the only option was a couple remote controls to steam via the Blue-ray player in the basement TV room....the TVs only had very basic cable channels....a manual for the TVs and hot tub and area would have been a good touch...a lack of lamps both bedside and throughout the home....the dryer door handle was broken and the washer door had been repaired but still leaked...wire clothes hangers throughout....one of the upstairs tubs wasn’t draining and had missing hardware and had a frayed old bath rug. Overall, it's a beautiful home that just needs some updating for the price.

Perfect Family Vacation
We had the best time while staying in this beautiful home is Mooresville. The first 2 days we were there is rained and the kids didn’t even mind because there was so much to do inside. It was the perfect setup. Everything was very clean and the owner truly thought of everything a guest may need. He was so kind and very easy to communicate with. We will be returning!! Wonderful Lake Vacation
The property is beautiful and is as advertised. Kirk, the owner, is very kind and accommodating, he really wants you to have the best experience.
Extra info that may help you: we had 2 under 2, there are 2 entrances to the stairs going upstairs and the basement stairwell has had the upper door removed, so definitely bring a pressure gate to stop little ones from tumbling down.
Also, the room with the tv and black futon couches has no door on it if anyone sleeps in there.
The gated yard and beach area is great! Only downfall is there are a few neighbor dogs that roam freely. They're friendly but tried eating our snacks, pooped in the yard and barked for 30 min outside our door at 4 am one night. Otherwise it is awesome all around! Definitely great for old and young alike! We rented a boat and jet ski and had hours of fun on the beautiful lake!
FYI, anyone born after 1988 has to have an NC boaters license to operate all the water crafts and the study time takes 3 hrs+ on the online site.

Property was great and exactly as described, location is perfect for week at the lake with the family - lots for kids to do even when weather doesn't cooperate.

STAY AWAY. You can do much better for your money.
STAY AWAY from this rental. The owner is not reputable and will keep your security deposit no matter what you say. He will of course reply and portray himself as the victim. I will detail our experience below, but bottom line you can do much better for the price.
Upon arrival there were items wrong with the property which he pointed out and which he never fixed.
One washing machine had a broken handle, therefore we didn't use it for the duration of our stay.
The fire pit was literally blown apart and unusable.
The one working BBQ was filthy and its cover was tattered beyond belief.
The second BBQ wasn’t working at all.
The cooler in the BBQ area was also filthy.
The float on the dock was tattered, and the noodles were ratty and broken. The weather box they are stored in is also broken. His reply was that he allowed us the us the crappy toys as a “courtesy”.
I called him in advance about the sanitization of the property given the COVID 19 situation. He assured me the house is sanitized after each guest leaves. That was patently false. The bathroom floors were filthy with hair on them. He merely wiped some surfaces down so it would smell clean. We scoured the housed with Lysol wipes for an hour and a half. That shouldn’t be our job.
Basically, the property is not well maintained.
His dogs were all over the property. They would come towards guests, barking at them as they tried to walk to the dock. They will be your guests for the entirety of your stay.
This guy is renting a premium property at a premium price. He then gets annoyed if you raise these issues. We did accidentally put a hole in the sheetrock wall (skateboard accident) which we of course are responsible for. He then used that to extort the entire security deposit for things we had nothing to do with. So, you can pretty much kiss your security deposit goodbye. He keeps security deposits and then never fixes anything.

Family Lake Vacation
Kirk’s place was perfect for our family vacation on Lake Norman! Huge space with a great location and we took advantage of the many amenities the house offers (dock, hot tub, fire pit, game room, outdoor grill, etc). Communication with Kirk was great and he was always quick to respond if we needed anything. He even met us at check-in to give us a quick run down of the house and explain how to operate all the amenities, electronics, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Home and Location
This property was ideal for our extended family vacation. Large house that could more than comfortably accommodate 9 adults and 4 children, spacious back patio with gated yard, and very quiet dock and "beach" area for swimming. We also rented a pontoon boat for a couple days and stopped at a number of restaurants that we were pleased to find nearby on the water. Kirk was incredibly helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend staying here to any one. Thanks!

Wonderful spot for a family get together
The home and property are perfect for our family. Rain or shine the kids have a blast swimming in the lake and we all enjoy the spa. The fenced in yard is perfect for keeping the little ones from wandering off by themselves to the lake.
The house has multiple areas to get together or "get away". Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms is certainly a major plus for our growing family.
We are looking forward to a return visit next year.

The streetscape, location on the lake, yard features and lake access were fantastic! The home was in much need of a deep clean. We had to clean before the rest of the family arrived. The game room electronics were old and not working properly. Theatre room had problems too including 1 remote without batteries and another with corroded batteries. FYI - No TV in master. The owner was able to address things quickly during our stay since he lives next door and can hear everything. Basement game room and exterior living space was a huge hit as was the water jungle gym.
