Fantastic upscale stay at a surprisingly reasonable price

Very nice upscale accommodation in a good "safe" area. Staff very gracious and helpful. Excellent restaurant with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Overall, pleasantly surprising, given the reasonable price.

Nothing... other than would have been happy to stay longer.

Dining experience was great. Especially dinner.

Rooms were very cold - even when heating was on. No gym onsite.

Sad decline of a once great Hotel

staff are really helpful and very friendly and welcoming

load shedding is annoying they should have generators its 5 stars hotel so i was disappointed that no electricity for 3 hours!!!

The breakfast was not good and management was not helpful at all, it is also overpriced as you pay more if you want any hot item (eggs in any way you want done) from the kitchen inside and the buffet was not kept full and most items were empty and this is at 7am! Seating is crowded and cramped. Better to go out and eat at the restaurants than in the hotel.

Management was slow and due to Eskom there was hardly any electricity 9not management fault) but they could keep a bigger generator.

Great location..Great service

These are my people.. I came home to have a traditional wedding with my American husband and he fell inlove with this place as well. The staff is amazing.. Bhuti Jabu is my person here.. he took care of me when ladies at the restaurant payed more attention to men of other race and had me and my infant baby sitting there like I was not a guest. The food is high quality and the space is impeccably decorated. Breakfast was fresh and space was clean. The beds are super comfy and that tub was a swimming pool for my little baby.. we loved the small details of adding toy ducks and bassinet to the room for parents traveling with babies.. it's really lovely. Room service is great as well.. meals were great after a 19hr flight. They help with your luggage the min you park outside. Sisi Pinky was really amazing to us as well. I cannot thank the staff enough for being so warm.. as a South African visiting with ppl from other countries.. I was proud..keep it up guys. See you soon

Nice stay in a beautiful hotel where the service was very good.

Beautiful, spacious rooms and very helpful and friendly staff.

The very poor picture quality of the television in the room and also the limited variety of programmes. They have got five soccer channels and close to none other sports channels. Not everyone is such a big soccer fan. Breakfast is also very pricey for what you get.

Recommend this hotel and area to stay in.

Great Staff, well looked after and great location for what we wanted. Very clean rooms and facilities.

The restaurant was closed for refurbishment, which was a shame as it had great reviews.
