La chambre devant le parc

Le site où se trouve l’hôtel, oui le parc est sympa au bord de l’eau mais sur l’autre rive zone industrielle . Et personnel de la restauration peu compétent par contre le matin le personne est au petit soin…

Bon plan !

Très bel hôtel, très bon accueil, personnel compétent, attentif et réactif, dîner de bon niveau, petit-déjeuner excellent, chambre très agréable et très confortable, bel environnement, accès et parking faciles. Cela dit il faut reprendre la voiture pour aller au centre ville.

Excellent hotel

Great access from highway. Great location by the river. Beautiful hotel. Great food. Very accessible and safe underground parking space. Professional and friendly personnel.

Beautiful inside patio can get noisy with large convention gatherings. Glass doors on bathrooms (what's that silly fashion in hotels anyway ?).

A lovely stop 'en route' to Portugal

We love the historical character (a former abbey) of Palacio Sta Ana plus the facilities and the wealth of space and layout of the rooms and suites. The breakfast choice is plentiful and (in Moorish tradition) 'rich' in calories. and fruits The hotel is well situated, close to the highway Burgos-Portugal but the city center is NOT within walking distance

I have no negative remarks about the Palacio except once. At breakfast we ordered salmon with avocado. It wasoverripe, which partly spoiled the pleasure of breakfast

Really quite pleasant, but just felt it lacked a full 5 star quality.

Staff were very friendly. Good very good. Room was very nice, decor was just a bit simple.

Location was a bit poor & overall decor did not feel luxurious for a 5 star hotel !

Certainly not 5 star quality

Good parking both indoor and underground. Lovely lounge with glass ceiling atrium and surrounding gardens. Beds were comfortable.

The room was very dated and in bad need of a refurbishment.. tv channels were very limited, bathroom ensuite shower is inside the bath. Toilet would not flush properly only after adjusting the flush mechanism!. Wallpaper was coming apart at the seams and skirting and wood around the room was badly scraped. No sound insulation from next door. Doors continually slam shut in both bedrooms and also surrounding the atrium lounge, annoying when enjoying a peaceful drink in the lounge The bar menu is limited but being a 5 star hotel I expected a certain level which I would also expect from their restaurant , the carbonara lacked any flavour at all.., very little sauce and I had to ask for pepper and parmesan...neither enhanced the meal. My husband had the potato omelette again it was very basic. We were glad we did not eat at the restaurant. Having stayed at 5 star hotels I did expect a similar standard and was disappointed as the building looks so nice upon entering.

good for a one night stopover

an old converted monastery, fascinating and beautiful

no air conditioning, was told it is switched off in winter yet this was the end of March and the room was very warm, had to sleep with the windows open.

Disappointing

car park Breakfast was quite nice

Supposed to be 5 star room was dark and old no life in the building - nobody in the restaurant in the evening Room service was ok but nothing exciting The room service tray was still on the floor outside our door when we checked out after we put it there the previous evening Something seriously lacking in this hotel Plus it was the most expensive one that we chose - 150 euro

Great third stay, not the last

Our third stay in the hotel. Location is very good, nice view over the river. We especially liked the possibility to park underground for free because it was pretty cold when we arrived. Service and staff always very nice and professional. Lovely dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. A small shopping centre nearby (walking distance) was an added bonus for us.

What a shame we could only stay for one night. We would love to return.

Entire ambiance of the hotel was lovely. Restaurant excellent and lovely staff. Swimming pool available. Car parking brilliant with choice of underground parking at no extra cost. Quiet and comfortable room.

nice calmness to the hotel… lovely to chill out and relax… the chef is definitely talented as the standard of food is very high..

as a non meat eater the menu was restricted…
