Perfect location, everything is within walking distance. There are many restaurants around there. Breakfast was amazing, we loved the yogurt and honey. The owner was friendly and nice, they gave us lots of information and recommendation.
Our show sealing was quite low, which is explained on their own websites, so if you are tall you need to be aware.

Very cosy and very classy. Some lovely spaces to relax in. Nice beer and wine in the fridge that you could take, enjoy and pay for later. Super central. Both hosts were friendly and helpful.
Only thing I would change was perhaps the shower. A little dated.

This was an amazing find! Great location in a beautiful part of Avignon with close proximity to restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious. The owners were lovely, gave great recommendations, and were very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and had many homemade aspects. We loved our experience here so much!

Lovely place with amazing breakfast and wonderful owners. In the perfect location to explore Avignon and an easy walk to the train station. Would definitely recommend!
room was a little dark with only one window but it’s a lovely old building so no problem

Rooms were comfortable and the beds were great.
Breakfast was excellent, they use local products and Veronique makes the jams.
Veronique and Fabrice were excellent hosts helpful hints (where to to eat and more importantly where not to) and very welcoming.
Location is great and as solo traveller I felt very safe.
Not a thing!

The location and the hosts were magnificent

good location, very friendly owners
comfort (at least for the upper room where we have stayed): the stairs are very steep, the room is small (we had only a single small bag and still felt constrained), the doors are low and the ceiling at the shower is so tilted that you can't stand while showering.

These hosts were two of the best hosts we’ve met so far. Not just welcoming, but genuinely friendly and enthusiastic. Their can-do-mentality results in delicious self made breakfast products like jams, yoghurt and granola. We loved their style in art and decoration. And they had plenty tips for sightseeing. Furthermore, we loved the kingsize bed! Not only the size but also the sturdiness of the matras.
It would have been perfect if the room was a tad bigger. After two night, it felt a bit jammed with our grocery bags, laundry bags and suitcases spread out on the floor. The cupboard was good for a couple of items but a more spacious room would’ve given us more room to breathe, figuratively speaking. We were warned for the low ceiling in the bathroom. That was really manageable. Next time, though, we choose a room where we can shower standing up, in stead of sitting in the bathtub. Great to have a bath though!

Fantastic location, lovely building, wonderful hosts, enjoyable breakfast.

In an ancient house, this place has retained the charm of the old while adding subtle touches of modernity
if anything, because it’s an old house, the spaces are small and intricate. But this also makes it that much more charming

Fabrice was extremely friendly and gave us a great welcome and introduction to Avignon, running through a tourist map he gave us, asking what kind of thing we'd like to do and circling things on the map for us, making an excellent recommendation for where to book dinner for us as vegetarians. He even carried our heaviest bags up the stairs to our room. Lovely building. Comfortable bedroom and en suite. Good aircon in the room. The breakfast was also lovely, and Veronique was very helpful in ordering us a taxi to the train station at checkout.

It is a very cozy place in the center of beautiful Avignon but nevertheless very quiet. The hosts are very kind and know very well the better restaurants in the city. We would recommend the place if you visit the very attractive theater festival of Avignon! The location has a pleasant roof terrace where you can relax after your strolls in the city.
Although you are not allowed to smoke within the location there is also a very small courtyard. Unfortunately a few guest were smoking here and than the smell easily spreads to higher levels as well. We would recommend the owners to not allow smoking at all or to limit it to the roof terrace.

The owners were very accommodating & worked hard to meet all needs, including carrying heavy bags up stairs as there is no lift. A delicious breakfast was served each morning in our apartment. The presentation was very nice & the food was delicious. They offered advice on restaurants & sights & helped with arrangements. Very kind & gracious people!
The key to our apartment door was an old lock with brass key that was very tricky to open. We had to seek the owners help a couple of times to assist us. Toward the end of our stay, we were able to open our door but it still took some effort. It is a historical building so the key is fitting for keeping the historical context, but the key was a challenge for us.

From the first encounter with Veronique and Fabrice we knew that we would be taken care of as nothing was too much trouble to make us both feel very welcome. The rooms are all individual and tastefully designed with something special visually round every corner. Our room was very clean and had quality fittings. The breakfast was special with locally sourced produce from Honey to the yogurt. I would highly recommend La Banasterie for the location, comfort and quality.
Nothing to mention here as we were happy with our stay and all aspects of it.

Wonderful, helpful proprietors who know the city and give great advice, and are just plain warm, friendly and charming.
The City of Avignon could stop having trash trucks patrol the narrow streets at 5 a.m.

This was one of our favourite stays in France and I can't recommend it enough! Veronique and Fabrice were the most welcoming, lovely and helpful people and really made our stay exceptional. Nothing seemed too much bother for them and they were always ready to help with a smile on their face.
The place it's absolutely charming and packed with character. Super clean and cozy, with a bit of history showing everywhere you look. Great attention to details! We absolutely loved our room! Although located in the old town in the city center with everything at your doorstep, La Banasterie is on a quiet and peaceful little street. Although both me and my husband are light sleepers we actually had the best night sleeps here at La Banasterie thanks to being incredibly peaceful and also to the amazingly comfy bed we had. The bed really is a dream!
Breakfast was exquisite! So much variety and high quality food. We had cheese selection, home made yoghurt, home made muesli, frui salad, pastries and eggs every morning. That's what we chose to have but there was so much more.
The hosts were so attentive even during breakfast making sure everyone is happy. Thank you for making our trip so memorable and for helping out with all the lovely restaurants as well.
Can't recommend this place enough and we are hoping to come back. By far the best B&B!

Was greeted with a warm welcome (& a drink) host was very helpful to explain places to visit/ have dinner.
So much character.
Can't fault the place, but to note that the car park is quite a walk away (& parking not cheap)

Full of character, elegance, style and sophistication it’s located close by to the best restaurants and attractions. Very comfortable and perfect for a romantic break. Veronique and her husband are excellent hosts and welcome you with a drink and an explanation of the locality, the best places to eat and visit.
Can’t fault it!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like an old friend. Beautifully decorated, everything tastefully done. Fabrice poured a refreshing beer after a long drink and a soda for my daughter. He made an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant and booked the table. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was a highlight, all fresh produce and lovely coffee served in a pot. A lovely experience. Of the 6 nights spent in Italy and France, this was the most charming!!!
Parking was the only downside but it would be unreasonable to offer parking with such a central great location. Was less than 5 minutes down the road and cost 15 Euro.
