Great food

We stayed here as we had an early flight the following morning. We had eaten lunch here before which was excellent, and dinner was even better. Will be booking again

staff very helpful though.

the smell in the rooms was horrendous. also it was absolutely not on the Canal du midi (as advertised.) there was no SOAP in the bathroom, and no elevator. you will need to carry up any luggage.

Good value for the money in the area

* I was able to check in already at 12:30 and check out very early on my own. * WiFi worked just fine. * There was an Air Co in the room. * Bed was comfortable.

* There was no table in the room. * The room wasn't the cleanest one if I looked closer.

Disappointing

The staff were lovely, offered us fresh water when we arrived. The atmosphere was great and it was our pit stop night and i enjoyed the evening a lot.

I sent a message requesting where or how far away the parking was. I was never answered. We arrived and because it was the marche nocturne there was no parking close as a result we drove around the town for 20 mins trying to find a parking place - this could easily have been avoided by providing timely guidance in advance. The restarant staff were great but the food was pretty expensive and not that good. The starter of tartare de saumon was lovely and the highlight of our 120 euro bill.The kingfish was tasty but very overcooked. The rice was greasy. They are very busy and they have people queuing at the door, so I dont expect they will improve or want to for the summer season..

Very good

It's in the city center, full of life. It very affordable and we stayed to take a rest on our way. The surprisingly best ever fish restaurant on the street level made our stay a great experience and we left so happy. We'll be back :)

Good value and excellent fish restaurant.

The accommodation was adequate for the price paid. The draw was the fish restaurant which was very good and excellent value. Right at the centre of the town. I would stay there again.

Restaurant extract fan went on and off for most of the night so noisy. Room 2 top floor. A door rather than a curtain on the bathroom would be welcome.

Definitely would visit the restaurant again.

The rooms were basic but very clean and we booked this as an overnight stop because we wanted to eat at the restaurant in the evening. The fish selection and freshness was superb. We had a great meal and the staff were so helpful. A great family owned restaurant

Basic stay at good location with GREAT restaurant

The hotel was very well located for our bike trip along Canal du Midi. Possibility to park the bikes inside overnight and we appreciated the reservation in the restaurant which is awesome - probably the best we have had during our two weeks vacation (with lots of great restaurants). The room itself was very spacious and with nice self-constructed furniture, basic but with everything you might need.

The welcome was not as warm as we were used to in France, the restaurant is the clear focus. There is no breakfast but several bakeries and supermarkets close by.

Fine to use but bad smell

Great location and easy to park closeby for free. Great restaurant and very popular. The staff were very friendly

Its very no frills, which is fine, but the time i stayed, there was a terrible smell of bad drainage. My daughter also itched from the bed and the Wi-Fi didn't work

Good

The character of the hotel and restaurant below is nice. The staff very friendly. Ate that evening at the restaurant which seems very popular with local and served fabulous fresh fish dishes. We got there earlier than agreed but could not see the menu as it was not ready ready... excellent! Chef decides menu based on the catch of the day.. everything was delicious.

We were travelling with 3 kids so had 2 rooms. But the room for 3 was a double bed and 1 single - that was a problem... That room also had a bad smell that we were told was due to rain and drains. Nothing they could do about it. The double beds are only 140cm wide... bit small when very warm. The rooms were spacious enough to have double beds one size wider.
