Traumhaft!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt hier. Die Ferienwohnung ist super ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die große Terrasse mit Bergblick ist ein Traum! Nach anstrengenden Wanderungen kann man im beheizten Pool mit Blick auf die Berge oder in der Sauna entspannen. Das gesamte Team ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und ist stets darum bemüht, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Man hat hier wirklich das Gefühl, der einzige Gast zu sein! Einmal stand zum Beispiel ein Körbchen mit zwei kleinen Aperol-Flaschen und Schokolade vor unserer Tür.😍 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Traumhaftes Hotel

Rundum hat alles gepasst. 🍀 Extrem nettes und herzliches Personal. 😌 Traumhaft schöne Zimmer mit kostenlosen Zugang zum Pool und zur Sauna. Die Lungau Card gab es von Hotel auch noch dazu. Und was für uns das wichtigste war, Hunde waren mehr als willkommen. Unsere Hündin hat sich so wohl gefühlt. Überall wurde sie geknuddelt und es gab Leckerlis. Es war wirklich ein perfekter Aufenthalt. 🐶 Kurze Info für alle Hundebesitzer: Die Balkone sind nicht zu 100% von einander abgetrennt. Neugierige Hunde könnten den Weg zu den Nachbarn finden. Wir haben einfach unseren Koffer zwischen gestellt und gut war ☺️ Der Balkon war für uns mit den großen Sesseln zum sitzen auch nochmal ein Highlight. Perfekt zum lesen und entspannen 📕

Skivergnügen und Wellness

Der Urlaub hier hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Sonnenalmbahn-Gondeln starten direkt neben dem Hotel hoch ins Skigebiet Grosseck-Speiereck und ebenfalls vor der Haustür fährt der Skibus ab. Zum Aineck-Katschberg fährt man 9 min., zum Fanningberg allerdings 50 min. mit Umstieg. Unten im Hotel ist auch ein Skiverleih und jedes Zimmer hat einen eigenen kleinen Schrank für die Aufbewahrung der Skier und Skischuhe. Mahlzeiten werden vom Liftplatzl nicht angeboten, dafür ist die Franz Josef Eatery integriert, wo man für 15€ pro Person frühstücken kann. Von 14 bis 20 Uhr kann der wunderschöne Infinity Pool auf dem Dach und die Sauna (etwa 60°C, Zusätze für Aufgüsse stehen zur Verfügung) benutzt werden. Allerdings sind die Bereiche getrennt, denn die Sauna liegt zwei Stockwerke tiefer als der Pool. Dafür ist oben beim Pool ein super gemütlicher Entspannungsbereich mit Liegen, Kojen unter der Dachschrägen und Kuscheldecken. Das Besondere am Liftplatzl sind die ausgesprochen freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen und die Liebe zum Detail. Beispielsweise ist der Bereich zum Aufhängen der Jacken im Zimmer beheizt und im Entspannungsbereich stehen kleine Schälchen mit Snacks.

De vriendelijkheid de atmosfeer alles was perfect met kers op de taart het zwembad!!!! Sonja en hun team doen er alles aan om je een prettig verblijf te hebben. Werkelijkzo’n lieve mensen allemaal ❤️

Stylish apartment that has everything a family needs for the prefect vacation

We had an amazing time staying at Das Liftplatzl for 6 nights in August. It served us as a great base to travel in Lungau, north karinthia and south Salzburg regions. Our girls had great fun finishing each day at the beautiful and warm pool. The staff were very kind and generous, always with a smile, especially towards our kids. The apartment has everything a family needs - we have never seen such a level of attention to details, everything with style and at top quality. We wish to come here again to experience a family ski vacation - it’s perfectly located right on a cable car :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this charming pet-friendly hotel. The location was serene, offering breathtaking views. Although there was no on-site food, it was a great opportunity to explore local restaurants. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing, and the spa facilities were top-notch. Our furry friend was well taken care of, getting spoilt with treats from reception and with ample walking areas nearby. The spacious room was clean and comfortable and the terrace a perfect spot to reflect on the day. The highlight though are the outstanding staff who provided exceptional service. Every day a smile on their faces, always helpful and a real family atmosphere. The dedication they have shown and friendliness were phenomenal.We highly recommend this hotel for anyone. Can't wait to return!

Excellent value

Really nice place, with free parking, a lovely room with a kitchenette, and a large balcony with a nice view. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. Excellent value for money for the summer.

The only thing I didn't like was that the pool and sauna closed early at 6 pm which meant we never got a chance to see them as we were out during the day.

Amazing apartments at the Liftplatzl! We enjoyed our stay there very much and can only recommend it. Never experiences such nice and helpful hosts and employees anywhere else. The stylish apartment had everything we needed and the amazing wellness area was the cherry on the cake. Hopefully we will be back asap!

A beautiful new modern apartment-type hotel with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a balcony with a view of the mountains. Amazing outdoor heated pool and warm sauna. Modern ski storage. Friendly staff. Cabin lift 50m from the entrance. Great place for a family vacation. We can recommend them.

Wonderful relaxing stay, a fantastic place for my sons' first skiing holiday.

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, we had a nice balcony which had sun for most of the day. The heated rooftop pool was great for relaxing at the end of the day and had lovely views. We were made to feel really welcome and the ladies in reception were very helpful.

A very minor point is that it would have been good to have an oven, but we managed with the microwave and hob.

Room with big balcony and beautiful view. Very nice top floor relaxing area with outside pool. Perfect sauna on the 2nd floor. Lift just next to hotel. Bus stop to other areas just outside hotel.

We were 6 persons in an apartment which had only one toilet. It was challenging at times.

Our dreams finally came true - sleeping and waking up next to the ski slope!

We had such a good time that we will remember it forever! The vacation at the Das Liftplatzl is over and we're already looking forward to our next stay there. The location is perfect, just next to the Sonnenbahn ski lift which gets you to the top. This is the true meaning of accommodation ski-to-door because you can ski directly from the top of the mountain to the ski room to leave the ski equipment. The ski room is accessible via card and it is high-tech. Wi-fi speed are incredible, over 150mbit/s which is truly a blessing if you are working remotely. Wellness is amaaazing! Hot water pool on the top with a view of the slope and the town. Sauna decoration and access to snow are a nice touch! The decoration of the rooms are amazing - the perfect combination of natural wood, black elements, and stone. See you next year, or maybe even this year! :)

Superb

Just outstanding! I like a lot the location, the building, the pool area, and of course the room. There are many small details surrounding you in the hotel, that create this special vibe. Our room was the standard one, but it was very spacious with a nice hillside view, comfortable beds, and some minimal equipment to arrange the light breakfast. Note that the pool and sauna are closed on Fridays (at least during the summer).

Very friendly stuff and would assist you all the time. the location is next to Sonnenbahn St. Michael cable car (opens certain days a week only). They also provide you with free access to attractions during your stay.

Splendid location, quiet neghbourhood, excellent personnel support, no problem tough enough not to be solved on the spot - bath robes, touristic support, late arriival, early departure - theere was always a readily available solution

WiFi was an absolutte disaster - which was excellent as we wished to swiitch off anywway - but it might be a problem for a business guest

I recommend a visit

Great location, nice quiet hotel and very friendly staff. Super starting point for skiing around (St.Michael im Lungau, Katschberg, Mauterndorf and Obertauern). Hotel have a very nice and clean sky pool, top relaxing zone, safe ski storage, next to the ski lift. You can ski directly to the hotel. And not the last, really very very friendly staff. Respect :)

The room was really nice, clean and with a great view. Kitchen had all the necessary appliances. The pool and lounge area were really nice after a ski day.

We were missing loungers in the sauna area, other than that the sauna is really nice and big.
