perfecr long weekend stay for family and couples
The location is inside the forest so you can see and feel the vibe. They offer homecooked meal breakfast lunch and dinner and staff behaviour is extremely cozy

Superb
Meals were tasty and the variety of food was good enough. Unfortunately, if you plan your stay in the resort for more than 2 nights you will most probably get the same meals on third day. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Whatever we requested we got it in couple of minutes. The manager helped us to plan our stay and arranged several activities for morning, afternoons and evenings.

If you find another choice of stay, just go for it.
First of all the Sunderbans National Reserve Forest is an amazing experience and unique biosphere. If you are keen to see wildlife (particularly tiger) then it takes a much longer stay.
The Sunderbans Tiger Camp stay by Waxpol is grossly overrated and immensely expensive for the services and product they offer. Personally I was OK if a portion of the benefits were to reach the local community or staff. But it doesn't. One feels sad for their staff and community that supports this Resort Business. I would not like to stay here next visit.
