Buen acceso a internet. Perfecta ubicación.

Considerar que están haciendo reparaciones y arreglos en las calles de Isla Colón, por lo que hay mucho polvo por todo lado.

Alles völlig in Ordnung & sehr sauber.

In der Küche wäre eine Abtropfmöglichkeit für das Geschirr toll. Ein Ventilator direkt an jedem Bett (nicht nur der ziemlich langsame Deckenventilator) wäre auch toll.

Home from home in Bocas

Lovely single room with ensuite. TV in room. Excellent central location. Great kitchen facilities with own section of fridge. Friendly reception staff who kept my luggage for a while after checkout. Very satisfactory stay.

Construction on the street outside. But the hostel felt like an oasis. All of Bocas is under construction at the moment so that isn’t unique to this accom. Would like a hammock somewhere to chill.

Pretty low quality but worth the low price

The price is very cheap, especially for a private room. Hostel was pretty quiet and chill. Kitchen was well equipped and there’s plenty of refrigeration space. Staff were helpful. Located very close to restaurants, bars, clubs and boat taxi harbours.

Room wasn’t fully sealed from outside so a lot of noise came from the street. My room also didn’t have A/C, just a big ceiling fan, so it was prone to mosquitoes.

Tout. L'accueil du propriétaire et la gentillesse du personnel. La situation géographique, centre de Bocas del Toro. La propreté de l'établissement, la cuisine bien équipée et qui donne envie de cuisiner. Wifi très bien. Enfin bonne corrélation avec le prix. J'avais une résa pour deux nuits, j'y suis restée trois nuits supplémentaires, malgré le mauvais temps, les inondations dûes aux travaux actuellement dans la ville et l'île. Merci pour tout.

Rien, si juste le papier toilette mais c'est un détail.

Great location for great price

The hotel was conveniently located, right in the centre, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and water taxis. I had a single room and it was really comfortable, I liked that the shared bathroom was for the two single rooms only. Yes there were road works but that didn’t spoil my time there. Bathroom was cleaned every day and the kitchen was spotless. Owner was very friendly and gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

A very nice, centrally located place to stay.

The rooms were nicely sized, the kitchen is great for self catering or just storing snacks, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The outdoor seating area was great for relaxing and eating.

Nothing of note that I didn't like.

Zentrales günstiges Hostel in Bocas

Sauberes Hostel direkt im Kern von Bocas del Toro. Freundliches Personal und man kann Fahrräder ausleihen. Günstiger Aufenthalt.

Es gab nur einen Ventilator, es wurde also durchaus warm. Allerdings könnte es sein dass jetzt Klimaanlagen installiert wurden. Vor dem Hostel ab und zu viel Wasser auf dem Bürgersteig / der Straße, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft ja nichts.

Nice, good location with things that would be improved.

The room was nice and private, but the kitchen gas burners were barely working and dangerous. It was nearly impossible to cook on the stovetop, and someone burned her hand trying to light the stove. The room was nice and clean and the location is good.

The wifi didn't work well most of the time, one day I couldn't work at all. And of course they need to fix the stove top, or add enough lighters. It's a fire hazard right now.

Good value for a nice and relaxing stay

Hostal Hansi is located close to everything. We had a nice room with a balcony, which was super convenient! The kitchen was cleaned everyday and had everything you need.

Facilities and interior are not that new, but we had all we needed and felt comfortable at the Hostal.

This Hostel was just my best experience within this whole trip. The reason for it was the wonderful owner lady Heike with her staff. Heike is just an incredibly hard working and special person. Our short meeting and conversation will leave a great trace forever in my heart and memories! She just showed how simple it is to be humane and caring to each other. My initial plans were different but it led me to Hostel Hansi which will be unforgettable even when Heike and her husband won't be there in future. I experienced someting so special in those 2 days. Thank you very much Heike! The rooms are just amazing, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, warm shower, towels, TV, small lockers, ventilation. I slept so well and enjoyed the kitchen and terrace. Location is superb. It gave my trip the best possible ending.

No air conditioning !

The host was very impolite and disrespectful!! There was no air conditioning or windows and inside the room was hotter than outside. We told the receptionist about it and she just told us to go to the Selina. Stay away from this hostel, there are super nice places in Bocas and this hostel was expensive and crappy (to say the least), defiantly not worth it!

Nothing about the property but a loud bar/club opposite until early hours.

Great value, excellent location, well-equipped kitchen.

Clean rooms with a nice kitchen and lots of areas to sit. The location was great and the staff were friendly. Would happily stay here again.

There was nothing bad about this place. It was a great hostel for the money we paid. No major complaints.

Located central, thus loud from party people. For a hostel clean; furniture ok.

We stayed with a baby and asked if we can stay 30min longer in the room (11:30 instead 11:00 checkout) and got a rude "no" (without checking when next people arrive).

It's a great location right near where the water taxis come and go. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit basic but clean and accepable. For Bocas Town it's pretty good value.

The problem is the same for all hostels: other people. Like the guy who thought that 7:30 am was a good time to take over the tiny kitchen for an hour to make a giant lentil curry, completely oblivious to the people around waiting for him to get out of the way so they could get a cup or a spoon. Also, each person has to make their own coffee, and they don't provide common necessities like sugar.

Superb

Located in the middle of Bocas del Toro, with very convenient location, it was close to everything in the town. It was very clean and well organised. There were clear rules everywhere and it felt safe. The staff was very nice and friendly, and they spoke English. We met very nice guests there as well. The internet connection was good. They have hot showers, a fan on the ceiling and tv in the room. We also had a small balcony with a table and two chairs, which was pleasant.

It was close to a local bar, where locals would party until the morning. They made a lot of noise, sometimes they were fighting outside and the police interfered. Overall, we loved Hostal Hansi and we definitely recommend it. The only negative point was the noise at night which can be quite a nuissance. But if you plan on partying as well until the morning, it should not be an issue to you.

Great central location to explore Bocas del Toro

Rooms are very good, staff was exceptional. The hosts are very helpful with everything. Kitchen is mostly well equipped, wifi was good for online work, area is very central and walkable. Great value for the cost. Would absolutely stay again.

Would be nice to have a better setup for work for digital nomads - - Even at a cost or in specific rooms. Kitchen is locked at 10pm, so keeping bottled water cold but accessible is not possible.
