Good place to stay.

Having breakfast included in the price of the room, was excellent. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The only disappointment was the cappuccino machine was not working. The last time we stayed here it wasn't working either. The room was very comfy, as were the beds.

Meets my needs for location.

Location is excellent; staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are tired and could do with sprucing up, maybe painting and headboard to keep the cold from the wall off your head. An amazing art deco building that has so much potential.

Rude staff not accommodating at all

The accommodation was very old and dated and the food in the restaurant we absolutely disgusting and inedible I returned my meal and was spoken to very rudely by the staff will never return absolute 0 out of 10

people were lovely, convenient close to eveything with off street parking.

staff were very accommodating and friendly. Made me feel welcome

the reverse cycle air conditioner was not working so it was quite cold. I needed an extra blanket on my bed and a big jacket over the top of it. I also had no hot water on the last night and last morning of my stay. I am sure they have fixed the water though.

Had a relaxing afternoon, a nice dinner, a good sleep, and a hearty breakfast prior to my departure.

The location is very good. The property is very good for people with mobility considerations. The rooms are excellent for a “pub”; air con, bar fridge, ensuite, in room coffee making, and ensuite. This is better than some motels I have booked. Bistro was very nice with a good range of choices. Servings are large. Breakfast is included in the tariff. Will be my go to next time I stay in Bathurst.

Good food, great stuff

The Knickerbocker is in a great position if you want to walk around the city. The free breakfasts are fantastic, fill you up, I didn’t need lunch. The staff are so friendly and happy to help. Most of the dinners are really great. I only had one that was so so. The room is small, but you’re only sleeping there, they have shampoo , conditioner and shower gel. The windows need to be able to be open, though it was a great place

Great value with a good location!

Great value with included breakfast in a central location that is easy to access and plenty to go to nearby. I have stayed here before for work and it has always been very satisfactory for a short stay.

Great food, great value room

Food (dinner and breakfast) was great, room was clean and private bathroom was nice to have too.

As the windows couldn't be opened, so a fan in the room for some air flow would have been beneficial.

Budget accommodation in a central part of town, good for travellers.

Staff were friendly and obliging. Facilities were basic but functional. Free cooked breakfast and parking was a bonus. Communication was very good.

I understand we are in a pub but other guests were noisy at 1am. Not the fault of the hotel but still a negative. Parking was some distance from the hotel and you had to ring the hotel for them to open the boom gate rather than a card swipe or similar. You had to check in at the bar rather than a separate area. Mould in the bathroom which had been partially updated. Door to room was flimsy and the lock was inadequate by today's standards.

Best budget stay in Bathurst CBD with all you'd want and more!

Great breakfast included. Pub below with drinks at good prices and female friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Central CBD position but quiet. Great facillities including parking. Friendly helpful staff. Lift to upper floors. Charming country style pub with mod cons. Could not have asked for more. Greatly exceeded my expectations

I was happy with everything and would stay again and would recommend to other travellers. It's not the Ritz but it is amazing.

This was good value (hot breakfast included!) in the centre of Bathurst. It was above the pub, but very quiet on the two nights I stayed there. I had a terrific sleep. Staff are uniformly wonderful.

Comfortable, quiet, clean and a fantastic part of Bathurst.

The room was quiet, great location. The breakfast was amazing, loved it. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and helpful.

Water pressure wasn't great, but its an old building.

There was a 4 inch step into bathroom which could be a trip hazard. There was a sign on the door but need a ramp, or yellow tape along edge of step at least.

As motor bike riders we liked being able to park our bikes in the bottle shop overnight.

Including breakfast in the price is a great idea.

The shower was leaking, a little more general maintenance would help. Also the lift does have a sudden jolt when it stops on the floor, that would make some guests a little uncomfortable. Access to the hotel from the rear of the building would also help.

Great location. Friendly staff. Parking in the centre of town.

There were lots of cobwebs on the outside of the window, providing a very rustic feel. Could do with a little spruce up.

Unbelievably good and would be unbelievably great once hot water sorted out!

The place was exceptional, great staff, friendliness, great pub down stairs and close to everything. The breakfast was great! I love Bathurst and it never lets me down!

Unfortunately there was no hot water in morning. Two had freezing showers and I did not shower. They advised that had to wait for Manager to turn on.

Don’t waste your money.

There was bugs on the bed, asked to be moved to new room but the night manager would not move the 3 girls, she refused and hung up the phone twice. I had to book another accommodation.

Superb

Excellent location in the centre of town. Very good room with ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic - everything you'd want in a big breakfast. I'd stay there again.

Really enjoyed my stay in a great place in the center of Bathurst. I would recommend it to anyone.

Staff were really friendly and service was great especially the lovely lady cooking us breakfast the next morning. The Knicker is situated in an ideal location being in the center of Bathurst. They also had off street parking in a secure location at the back of the pub. Beer was cold and tasted great along with the food. Being in the middle of winter in Bathurst the heating in the place was excellent with a very comfy room. I'd recommend staying here if your single or a couple.

Its not a deluxe motel so don't expect everything 5star dining. Great value for money has everything you want

Superb

Loved the central location. Staff allowed us to park our motorbikes in a safe and secure monitored location. Having a lift to the upper floors was a nice change to our pub stay experience. Breakfast was great.

The bistro wasnt open that night.
