Poor clean - toys lying around in lounge, used sticky plaster in shower, lipstick on main shower wall. No teabags or milk. No toiletries.

Easy accommodation in great location.

Loved the location and was super close to everything. Cellar door and restaurant were fantastic. Hosts were amazing and very helpful.

Cottage was a little outdated for the price. I was expecting nicer linen, soaps, towels and even condiments in the kitchen. Sugar in cupboard was ripped open and spilt. Mop, bucket and cleaning products on display in kitchen wasn’t a great look. Bin didn’t have a lid. Cottage has a huge potential to be a really nice luxury place to stay. Just add nicer decor to fill the space. The gardens outside the cottage also need tidying. Plants dying and overgrown.

Relaxing location with a Lovely winery walking distance from the house, great, welcoming staff.

Location was amazing, the staff were friendly and the wine was lovely The house is HUGE, with well sized, well heated bedrooms (we went in the cold of July) It was very quiet and relaxing and close to everything we needed The fireplace was awesome - we took extra wood as it was cold

There were a couple of things that need to be maintained a little - the shower in main room leaks from back lower coner near wall, which made the mat wet and may cause damage down the line? there are gaps in between a lot of the windows - which is not an issue, I get they are not sliders, but the heat from the amazing fire is lost quickly, and maybe a door between lounge and kitchen - to keep the heat of the fire in that area :) But we still loved it :)

Exceptional

Honestly, these houses were more than I imagined they'd be. We were staying for my wedding and the two houses were so lovely, clean, and beautiful. The staff were so lovely to deal with as well and all instructions were very clear and sent via email when we were supposed to check in and check out and it all was very easy.

Location was amazing and the accommodation was exceptional. Proximity to everything was great although we didn't really need to leave the property

it was a great place to base ourselves for our daughter's wedding

Location was fabulous!

There was no firwood for a fire. and it was a pity that the winery wasn't open a few more days as we didn't get a chance to come over and have a meal and taste some wine.

a brilliant cosy weekend away with the family

was such a great weekend, staff were so friendly and helpful, lots of grass for the kids to run around, walking distance to restaurants and only a couple of steps to great wine tasting 🙌🏻

Beautiful home and wished we stayed longer.

I loved this property because it felt like a home away from home. we had everything we needed and the area was sensational.

We would not stay again. There seemed to be a lot of other lovely looking accommodation in the area so would go elsewher

The property was in a good location for exploring walks around tambourine and getting to Lamington national park.

The property needed a lot of maintenance. the windows were just about falling out if the frame so a lot of cold air came in. Some of them did not have blinds or covering reducing privacy at night. The fire place didn’t work well and resulted in smokey air in the house. The home smelt bad and when we asked for cleaning equipment we were told it was not possible. One particular staff member was very unhelpful throughout the stay.

The restaurant was lovely, food was delicious. Complimentary wine tasting was informative. Administration house was spacious. Restaurant manager very helpful

Mould on ceilings in lounge, kitchen and bedroom. Unable to light fire as inside the fire box was wet, no firewood provided, had to purchase from IGA. BBQ filthy dirty and rusty. Outdoor chair broken. Firepit full of water. No toiletries in any bathroom just handwash. One small frypan to cook with. Property appears neglected

Disappointed

The location was good. We were compensated with wines.

Was not clean, dishwasher, fans, bathrooms dirty. Could not sit outside, table and chairs covered in debris. It had been raining but no effort to sweep etc. Door handles, towel rails were loose. Not maintained. Expensive

Loved exploring picturesque Mount Tamborine from a central, comfortable location.

Central location, beautiful scenery, it was quiet and peaceful, spacious accommodation, wine tasting and lunch was very special.

Struggled with shower head in the ensuite but luckily we could use the other shower down the hall. We wanted to sit outside but couldn't open back door and outside furniture wasn't appealing to use. No closet/wardrobe in main bedroom.

Great roomy property with all the best facilities.

Great location for the bridal party to stay with all family. Large family rooms meant that the make up and hair could be done easily.

A wet weather path between the two houses on the estate would have saved a great deal of mud being shared.

Comfortable bed, everything you need in the kitchen (except a bottle opener, I left one behind for them to keep), plenty of space and would consider bringing more of the family next time. Close to many of the attractions in the area which is a big plus.

Cleaning could have been more thorough. Cobwebs in several areas. Particularly in need of cleaning are the extraction vents in the bathroom.

Perfect for a weekend getaway - loved our stay at Mason Wines and exploring Mount Tambourine.

Location and overall place was great. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Will definitely stay again. Lovely hosts and communication.

Could have had a bit more cooking/crockery facilities. Appliances should have been checked they were working properly (dishwasher and fridge).

Spacious cottage

Lots of room for two families of 3. Kitchen is well set up and modern. Bathrooms modern and beautiful bit bath. Plenty of blankets and portable heaters which was great for having small children. Loved the fire place.

No blinds or curtains on some of the bedroom and bathroom windows.

Hotel of Disappointment

Free wine tasting. Food in restaurant was good.

Cockroach poo everywhere. Gardens run down. BBQ was disgusting and outdoor area unusable. Mouldy bathrooms and roof. Insects through bed. Firewood was wet and not usable. Late check in.

Winemakers Cottage

Stayed in Winemakers Cottage very comfortable. House is fully equipped with everything you need. Free wine tasting included for all staying in the house which was lovely extra.

Heating was not enough.

Cosy, fantastic location, we’ll be back!

We loved staying at Mason Winery! The property is picturesque and very cosy. We loved sitting by the Fire and drinking wine from the cellar door. You are so close to the cellar door and restaurant and we loved the wine! The restaurant food was even better! We hired both houses and the Winemakers cottage is HUGE! Both have four bedrooms and The administration house comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 children.
