Great to stay in a smaller hotel with excellent hospitality.

Excellent location in centre of Bruge near main attractions and plenty of eating spots. Eva and Niels were extremely good hosts. I highly recommend.

Cute Hotel Malleberg

The location is fabulous, the hotel delightfully old, with lots of character, including a medieval basement for the breakfast room. The new owners were wonderful, they made our stay very pleasant indeed, and were super helpful in organising us a taxi. We wish them the very best of luck in their new venture.

No lift. With my elderly parents and top floor bedrooms, it was difficult, but that's not the hotel's fault. I assume that as new owners, the bedrooms will be upgraded with new beds and pillows in due course.

The right place to enjoy Bruges

A wonderful location as seen on the map. What you won't see is the unique staff - wonderful and positive young people, imperceptibly and unobtrusively fulfilling your every wish, even if you haven't said it yet. Let's add the beautiful rooms, perfect cleanliness and beautiful little details both in the rooms and at breakfast. I'm done with superlatives because you might not believe it. See for yourself!

Bruges is a lovely town & the hotel is right in the centre. Eva is a fabulous host & would definitely recommend this place....need to visit again.

Jeune fille à l’accueil adorable, de très bons conseils pour les visites et serviable👍. Chambre correcte. Hôtel super bien placé pour visiter Bruges. Petit déjeuner copieux servi dans une cave.

Lit un peu mou. Radiateurs qui font du bruit (eau qui coule).Nous avons du les arrêter.

A great place from which to enjoy Bruges.

The building and its location were great. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My son enjoyed it and was very comfortable.

A perfect city break , great place, wonderful history, super food and beer. ( even if you’re not a beer drinker!)

Eva and Niels were the perfect hosts. The hotel is well situated , central but quiet.

Lovely cellar breakfast room and social space, cute outdoor courtyard.

Just Perfect.

Perfect location.. one minute walk to the Markt Square. Spotlessly clean. The new owners have nailed hospitality. Upgraded to a suite just because they could.

地理位置极佳，步行到布鲁日钟楼只需要5分钟。酒店位于一栋中世纪风格的楼里，别有风味，而且设施维护很好，非常干净。房东夫妇非常乐于助人。提供简单但家常式的早餐。在这里度过了非常放松的两天。十分推荐！

因为是老房子，隔音稍微不是很好。但是其他房客晚上都比较有素质，所以不影响睡眠。

Formidable

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par deux jeunes gens qui ont fait l'effort de parler en français. La chambre était très grande et confortable. Je note aussi positivement le petit déjeuner qui était copieux. Sans aucune hésitation, je recommande cette adresse située dans le centre de Bruges et pas très loin de la gare. Vous pouvez ensuite tout visiter à pied.

Fabulous!

The location of the hotel is excellent, being only a few yards from Burg Square and Markt Square. The hotel's situation means that the whole of Bruges is easy to reach - if you get chance, visit the Sint Janshuis Mill on the edge of the city near the Kruispoort City Gate. The breakfast is served in the 16th cellar which is very charismatic. The staff are all friendly and we were offered a city map on our arrival. Our room was room 2 on the first floor and was a good size with views over the rear courtyard. It had a huge bed and the room was very quiet. There is no lift in the hotel nor car parking. We parked in Langstraat car park where you can leave you car for the duration of your stay at 18€ /24h. The car park is an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel and you will pass Punta Est restaurant near the riverside which offers lovely food and a great location - we would recommend the mussels!

great location, easy, friendly check in. We traveled with another couple and all of us were completely satisfied with everything about the Malleberg. To top it off there’s a great little pub and restaurant right next door.

Wonderful trip exploring beautiful Bruge

Perfect location to discover Bruge, a few minutes from the square with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean, a good size and a very comfortable bed. We had room 2 on the first floor at the back of the property overlooking the pretty courtyard and it was very quiet. Breakfast was very nice, fresh croissants and lovely coffee but also continental meats and cheeses and a good variety of cereals and breads. We had a lovely weekend, thank you! PS. The restaurant next door, Diligence, is very good but you need to book.

Great value small hotel. Well located.

Super convenient location yet I did not find it noisy or busy. Friendly reception staff. The hotel is small and homely, my room (standard) was a good size and the shower was superb, powerful, hot, ideal. Clean room with tea and coffee facilities, relatively plain decor. all, in all, great value for money.

The breakfast is fairly standard for Belgium (cold meats, cheese, muesli etc) and a bit dull, but it didn’t dampen my enthusiasm for the place generally..

Really lovely traditional townhouse hotel, warm and friendly staff. Perfect location

cozy room with comfortable beds. Fantastic location a 2 minute walk from the main square. Lovely husband and wife team made us very welcome. Parking just a short walk away. Plentiful breakfast No lift and we were on the top floor, but this was not a problem for us.

Confort and great atmosphere in the city center

Wonderfull hotel, very well decorated, confortable, clean and cetraly located. The atmosphere during Christmas time was great in the hotel. I highly reccommend it. The hotel is in an old building, it has no elevator; the building has been entirely renovated and the result is simply fantastic.

Fabulous Short Stay in a Superb Location

A character building in the heart of Brugge. So close to the Markt Square and the Christmas Market. A fabulous find that was excellent value considering the excellent location. The continental breakfast was plentiful and the hosts were warm and friendly. Parking was fine, we stayed in the Pandreijte and Langstraat car parks, both about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Brugge at Christmas is just utterly beautiful and I would highly recommend it.

Minor critique but a toaster at breakfast for some of their fabulous bread would have been nice. But otherwise couldn't fault our stay at The Malleberg

Spotless, perfect location fantastic breakfast

Excellent location and fabulous waking up to the smell of fresh bread every morning. Room was spotless, fresh towels every day and bed linen refreshed half way through our stay too. Would recommend
