Bel hôtel au milieu des vignes

Petit déjeuner très bien, copieux. Chambre spacieuse, très bonne literie, grande salle de bains. Personnel très aimable. Charmant village de Chavignol, entouré de vignes.

Restauration : les menus restent les mêmes. Quand on séjourne plusieurs jours...on retrouve les mêmes plats (2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts) tous les jours.

Perfect location for a weekend break

Excellent location for local walks from the front door through the vineyards. Proximity to Sancerre. Rooms very comfortable. Evening meals imaginative and tasty. Staff exceptional - very efficient and professional but also friendly and fun Copious and varied breakfast

Couldn't open the bedroom window - ask at reception and they'll open it for you (and don't push the lock button!)

An excellent visit. We will return.

Our room was upgraded, which was kind of the hotel, which has been nicely renovated. Dinner was the main attraction and did not disappoint : it was excellent, accompanied by a very nice Henri Bourgeois Sancerre. Highly recommended.

pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff & Great Location!!

A/C only allowed to go down to 18C. Most Americans like it to be less than 18C to sleep!! From what I understand, it’s a Government mandate??😵‍💫

One of the best small hotels I have stayed in.

Very personable staff.helpful with getting around .there is parking across the street. Great breakfast.Superb restaurant for dinner. Great restaurant staff. Wonderfull Sancerre wine selection

We love the lady at reception - she is actually a role model in hospitality business: 1) made us a call to ask about dinner 2) provided flexible solution for late check-in 3) suggested great wineries Thank you!!!! if you are looking something well price/quality balance - this would be a best place

very nice family owned hotel. highly recommended.

very handy location for visiting vineyards of Sancerre . brilliant exploration of family winery and tasting experience by Emily , who was the best tour guide and tasting coach we have ever experienced ( and we have done many!) . very comfortable hotel , large room and bathroom . parking available a little way from the hotel. good food. very good wines.

that we couldn’t have dinner the first night. we hadn’t booked in advance and they were full. luckily they phoned us the week before and explained and asked if we would like dinner the second night, so this we were able to book. it’s a very small village with limited alternatives so be warned !

Consistently high standard and very comfortable

I stay here whenever I come to Sancerre and this hotel is always of a consistently high standard. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are large, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and each one is slightly different. The food in the restaurant is excellent and of course the wine is superb.

Nothing really - like this hotel very much and will be back soon.

awesome hotel and breakfast in the very cute village of Chavignol. I used to go to their restaurant with my family and its really amazing also. The rooms are super clean, ours was probably the biggest on 2 floors, no bathtub though. Go to La Tour in Sancerre for a michelin star experience for dinner

Self check in would be great so we don't have to wake anyone up. parking is a tad far up a hill if you have a suitcase.

Location, friendly, great food, clean room, friendly serving staff, lovely breakfast.

We had to leave earlier than expected in the morning, but check out wasn't possible until 9am, this is very irregular and not very accommodating for guests...we left anyway. Yes we paid the bill!

Superb

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely rooms (superior and suite). Superb wine list (of course). Location is in the centre of Chavignol - you’ll probably visit for wine and the views. Restaurant/bistro food delicious too.
