Would definitely stay again!

- Lovely hotel & really friendly staff. - Nice warm swimming pool.

- Family room a little small with a baby/cot but it worked fine for a short stay! - Bed & pillows quite hard.

It was the right fit for what I needed! Staff were fantastic!

The staff were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They went out of their way to help us.

The room was very draughty and the curtains were a poor fit so people passing could see in my room!

Great stay , great value for money and lovely rooms .

Loved the refurbished rooms and suite . Great staff , great food and lovely bar area . Nice swim before bed . Really lovely and will return !

Food is not great, especially if you're vegetarian they should have food for everybody like more options whick is lack in this hotel.

We had an amazing stay

The hotel itself was very nice and clean and beautiful looking. The staff was amazing and the facilities were lovely.

The only thing that me and my family can fault about the stay was the beds were hard and lumpy and weren’t very nice to sleep in. Other than that it was lovely

This was a brilliant find! Lovely hotel in a really convenient location.

Staff in ALL areas of the hotel were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was excellent

Arrangements for using the pool and accessing the garden seemed a bit complex but there were plenty of helpful staff to advise. The signage approaching the hotel made it a bit difficult to find, especially the first time.

Great stay. Suited our needs.

Pleasant and engaging receptionists. Nice decor throughout hotel. Nice comfortable room. Good fitness facilities. All requests met, reference room location and fan request. Great location.

The indoor pool is just about long enough for a fitness swim however without a lane attainment of a genuine swim for fitness was impossible due to families and individuals swimming widths. Not hotels fault neither is it the fault of others in the pool. But lane swimming at certain times of day would make it perfect.

Friendly helpful staff and clean rooms. Decent but pricey breakfast. Receptionist was a sort

The bedroom doors bang shut so loudly it would wake the dead. Came back twice from wedding party on understanding bar would be open round the clock but was closed early both nights.

The AC the room didn’t work well, and the technician couldn’t repair it, even though we paid higher rate for a hotel with AC in the rooms. Not enough toiletries. only basic coffee at breakfast. extra payment for machine coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Barnstaple hotel. The decor was nice, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We really liked the pool - the temperature was spot on. It was so good that you could easily forget you were in Barnstaple, and we were allowed to use the pool again after our checkout time. We will definitely stay there again 👍

The only thing we didn't like was the positioning of the toilet roll holder, but in the grand scheme of things am I really going to mark a hotel down over a toilet roll? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Friendly staff and good value

The kids loved the swimming pool. The location is good to visit my parents. I liked that the room had a mini fridge. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Not too expensive is always a bonus.

The family room is a bit small once you pull out the sofa bed and you can’t open the balcony door once it’s out so it might get quite hot in there during the summer months.

great stay, perfect for what we needed as a family

staff were fantastic, room was spacious. food was delicious and access to the leisure facilities was great!

the only negative for me was the external noise, especially at night. this isn’t noise from the hotel but from work buildings nearby.
