Prima hotel voor kort verblijf.

Prima bedden, ontbijt was oké voor een 3 sterren hotel. Met de metro was het centrum goed bereikbaar. Leuk brauhaus en leuk restaurant op loopafstand. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, sprak goed Engels.

De temperatuur van het water in de douche was slecht te regelen.

Uitstekende ligging

Ligging aan de Rijn, mooie wandeling en veel winkels en restaurantsm, grote driepersoonskamer, vriendelijk

Ontbijt: geen ontbijtkoeken, een ontbijt zonder ontbijtkoeken kan niet, heel veel charcuterie maar dat lusten we niet 's morgens, geen choco, geen vers fruit. De fruitsappen werden niet aangevuld. Dochter vroeg een warme chocolademelk maar was lauw, niet lekker. Jammer want verder is hotel heel goed.

Ich komme gern wieder.

Das Hotel hat Charme und sehr nettes und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Toll gelegen und Zentral, wenn man im Ruderverein eine Feier besuchen möchte.

Convenient for Cologne

Convenient for access from the Autobahn, then for the tram / walk along the Rhine into Cologne. Very helpful and knowledgeable English speaking host. Excellent continental breakfast.

Looking forward to my next stay.

Exceptional service and friendliness of the staff! Carpark available, walking distance to all important things in Rhodenkirchen.

Might be hot during the summer as no aircon. For winter it was perfect.

Nice position, easy to park and you can reach city center in 15 minutes by tram. Clean hotel, staff very friendly

In the summer now you need aircon even I Germany, here missing

We were there during very hot weather and there was hardly any ventilation in our room. Difficult to get any air in through our window because of the outlook.

Very friendly hotel. Definitely will stay here in Cologne everytime I return.

Small but cozy hotel, with an extremely kind and helpful staff. The bed and the pillow were very confortable. The breakfast is not very diversified - keep in mind it's a 3 stars hotel - but it was good and fresh, and the dining room is very nice. The wifi is strong and steady. It has a small (paid) parking, which is vital in this area of Cologne for those who travel by car. In the same street there are pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurants, ... The price was pretty affordable, comparing to other alternatives.

I couldn't find the AC, so I had to keep the window open, which, in the Summertime, can be a problem. In the Spring, however, was perfectly OK.

Oldie but Goodie

It is an old hotel, but all considered it was good! Easy and quick check-in. The room was nice, very clean, comfortable and well kept even for the age. Bathroom also very clean and the water pressure on the shower was fantastic, even though it was a bit tight to shower inside a bathtub. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room has a classic, charming atmosphere.

The sound isolation from other rooms wasn't very impressive. The room above ours probably had children who were jumping a lot and that made a strong "bass" sound on our heads.

Great quality of room and delicious breakfast.

Friendly owner, clean room and comfortable bed. Excellent location with train, bus stations within 5 minutes from walk. Breakfast is with great quality.

Really nothing to say, I’m very satisfied with everything here.

somewhat out of the way, but reflected in price. will be better when neighborhood construction is finished. owner/manager, Volker, was very informative, pleasant and friendly. breakfast was excellent! room was small but efficient and clean. parking behind hotel was important. highly recommended if looking for clean comfort and pleasant and authentic atmosphere, rather than luxury.
