Great Stay at Funtana

Very friendly staff, always helpful. Special mention to Ricardo and Chiara thanks for making our stay special. Lovely pool cleaned daily. No trouble with getting sunbeds in the morning but they might be all taken by the afternoon. Good food nice bar.

Taxis are not always available. No bus into Town.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, clean room, excellent breakfast (a lot of tasty sweets), nice pool with sun-beds and umbrellas. Great location - supermarket across the street, nice restaurant (Il Giardino) very close to the hotel, 15 min walk to the Rena Bianca beach, and 5-10 min drive to a lot of amazing beaches, including Capo Testa. Free large parking available at location.

1.5E charge for the 0.5L water from minibar. The LCD TV in the room very small.

Excellent Hotel Stay in Sardinia

An overall excellent stay at Hotel La Funtana. The location was perfect, short walk into the town to lots of restaurants and short walk to the port to access the boat trips to the islands, which the hotel staff helped us to book. The facilities were very clean. Pool was excellent with sun beds always available. Breakfast was delicious. The highlight of our stay were the staff. They were outstanding, very friendly, attentive and helpful. A special mention to Ricardo the Bar man who looked after us very well during our stay.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful experience during our time at La Funtana hotel. The establishment, which has been operating for 23 years, impressed us with its exceptional upkeep. The floors were immaculately clean and gleaming. The hotel staff was truly remarkable, working together seamlessly like a highly efficient team. Additionally, the breakfast options provided were truly impressive. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Santa Theresa / Capo Testa.

Everywhere was spotless. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast The pool area was very clean. Comfortable beds. We ate at the hotel and the food was good.

Good location and quiet. Always enough sun loungers during the day which is sometimes a problem in some hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location close to town.

The sun loungers are quite tired and therefore uncomfortable, they do have lots of cushions in a lounge area by the pool so you could just use these to make them more comfortable. The cooked breakfast was very limited although there was enough choice elsewhere so wasn’t too much of a problem.

Nice hotel, excellent staff a short walk from town.

The staff at the hotel were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a very large balcony overlooking the pool. The location is just out of town but a flat and easy walk to the centre in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was very good with a large selection to suit all tastes. Plenty of parking on site and free of charge so an excellent base to explore from if you have a car.

There was some noise from the room next door due to thin walls, but not really a problem unless a light sleeper.

Loved this wonderful hotel and would definitely recommend.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were super welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. Everything really clean. Lovely pool area. Really nicely decorated. Room comfortable. Easy to get to near the entrance to town, and just a 10 min walk to the centre. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

The hotel staff were fantastic each and every one of them. it felt like you were staying in their home with them. Breakfast was another treat with fresh baked regional delicacies along with the normal offerings, a rare find.

The Wifi was particularly poor outside the main reception, bar and pool area.

The staff at the hotel were lovely and the service and facilities were great. Good access to hiking trails and around 15 minute walk into town - would recommend Il Grottino for a meal and Pizzeria La Lucciola for the best takeaway pizza

The service was great, the staff was really helpful and friendly and really took the time to make sure we had a good experience. The hotel was super nice with a great pool and a nice hotel bar. The room was big and had a wonderful terass which we enjoyed very much, the breakfast had a wide sortiment to choose from and was also very good. We liked everything about this hotel and would definitely choose it again if we would go back to Santa Teresa Gallura.

The breakfast is good for the low-medium price of the room. there is a variety of food, solid scrambled eggs, many fruits and some local italian bakeries.

many things are processed, no fresh marmelades or other stuff for the bread

Great breakfast, great pool for laps, friendly staff, clean rooms, good water pressure, ample parking.

Gym was outdoors (no AC), private terrace was lacking in decor.

Pleasant Stay

The staff was very kind and handy, offered us some options of (good) restaurants and were available all the time. Regarding the room, the mattress was very good and new, clean, with a good view and clean. Breakfast was good, as well as the facilities.

Some points to improve: to offer more options of pillows in the bedroom, to fix/replace the shower (too small, water without pressure and high temperature variation).
