Nightmare place. Avoid.

Really bad experience. On the night I stayed, no running water in room, both available showers out of order, keybox to room didn't work and was unsafe. Thin walls and loads of noise from other bedrooms. Complained to the company handling their booking, roomsbooked.com and no offer of refund. Strongly recommend avoiding this place .

Exceptional

Great price for what you get. Sink and microwave in a cosy room. Not a problem sharing toilet and showers as there's plenty each floor. By the train station. Easy check in and out. Lots of shops and takeaways around a 5min walk in area.

The first room I was in 'room 6' didn't have any cutlery or plates'. I thought I had to buy my own stuff.... so got a takeaway first night. But rebooked into a different room and cups, plates and cutlery are provided.

Thank you for a quiet comfortable nights stay , we would use room 10 again happily.

Room 10 ,The armchair, as it was dreadful looking and not inviting. Needs recovering or replacing please 👍 Also mattress needs debobbling as it feels like polystyrene balls to touch the surface 🙃 The sheets were good and the bed comfortable no worries.

The location was perfect and room was big enough. Even though we didn't sleep in the room but we really enjoyed the stay.

Poor

Window had dead insects. The floor in the hall had a hole in it right in-front of our door. You walk past a bucket full of cigarette ends on the way in. My car had its wheel slashed over night. Then the bathroom, where the toilet comes off the floor.

Good facilities but walls are paper thin and people were so noisy I couldn’t sleep

Easy access and good value for money

There were people coming and going all night - not attempting to keep quiet I was woken repeatedly all night and early in the morning. The main door was propped open so anyone could come and go

Basic accommodation for emergency use.

The booking procedure was complicated. For example, the form gave a pin number for the door lock, but it was only in conversation with a member of staff, that it became evident that this was only a dummy code, and that I would only receive the proper code, when I paid the deposit.

Dew to the disgusting condition we stayed for 20 minutes and left

Dirty, it smelled,wallpaper hanging off. toilet seat broken. blind in room didn’t shut. being on the bottom floor people could see in. accommodation very outdated. encountered flies in the room

Room was cold fridge was loud bed was uncomfortable and room smelt of smoke which didn’t help my asthma! Worse night in Gloucester (and I stay regularly)

Other guests severely disruptive

Proximity to train station

There were people arguing and banging around (it sounded like property was being damaged) outside the room all through the early hours (around 0200-0500), they sounded aggressive and made my partner and I scared to try to leave the room to use the bathroom facilities. I heard one of them arguing on the phone demanding a full refund. We did not get any sleep due to this and had to request a late check out to get a few hours rest, as we were travelling home that day. I would like to be contacted regarding this to discuss the matter, thanks.
