Excellent B&B in a great location.

A lovely B&B, nicely decorated and in a great location at the bottom of town not far off the main street and close to several pubs and cafes. Clean and comfortable room, however two flights of stairs to the top floor can be a challenge for the elderly with luggage. Car parking available is a bonus but the limited spaces mean the hosts have to shuffle cars around which we didn't find to be a problem.

Nothing to complain about here.

Excellent location and great staff

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff - the waitress at breakfast was really helpful offering ideas of where to go to in the town. Room was clean and had everything you'd need for a short stay. We loved the location - an easy walk to the centre or the river.

I liked everything about this little gem. Well decorated and spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast. Super close to restaurants and inns.

I didn’t think 2 star was a fair representation of how nice this place is

Comfortable and Clean, could do we a few simple upgrades.

Great location, clean and tidy

No heating in the bathroom- a heated towel rail would suffice Room was cold- needs a bigger radiator, an easy fix Desk was uneven, an easy fix to add some wedges Mattress was very soft- fine for one night.

Attentive, friendly staff who went to the trouble of allowing my friend to have access to one of our rooms early to put up birthday decorations. Thank you! Fantastic central location. Plenty of parking outside the hotel. Lovely breakfast. Can't fault the place for a short stay!

A very comfortable and well appointed hotel with excellent service

The double room was very comfortable and well supplied with space for our clothes. The location was very convenient for the river walk and access to the town. We really enjoyed the splendid breakfast which was served with a smile.

A bit more drawer space. A firmer mattress would be our preference

It’s location is perfect being in the centre of Shrewsbury and to be able to park your car outside is an added bonus.

All round nice break, good location, nice staff, good breakfast. Would stay again.

Not so much a dislike but parking spaces are limited so it's on a first come basis, fortunately we arrived early so managed to get a spot. There is a pay and display across the road.

Fabulous family run hotel

This hotel is located in the centre of the town and ideal for a break away you are a walk away from the centre, and the train station. I would definitely recommend it the breakfast is lovely and the staff can't do enough for you will go back again

Excellent one night stay

We liked the central location and free parking. Very comfortable room. Breakfast lovely. I would like to especially mention the young lady who served the breakfast. She delivered excellent customer service. I thought she went above what she needed to do and it stood out. The staff were friendly and accommodating. First time in Shrewsbury but we are already looking to book again to see more of the sights.

Very Noisy, spoiled a special birthday weekend

The breakfast was very nice and plentiful

Very noisy. Single glazed and near lots of pubs, so was like being sat in the road with the drunks. We were on the middle floor and the plumbing in the walls was very noisy, like a waterfall running down the walls. It is an old building so the floors were very creaky. we had to ask to be moved as we got NO sleep the first night. I had booked a spacious family room for a special birthday trip and ended up in a tiny poky room that was not special at all and was still charged £500.
