Clean, comfortable and stylish. Staff lovely

The evening meal was poor, 2 meals sent back, overcooked. Steak 2nd attempt tough and poorly presented Considering the price very disappointing

Good location for work meeting the following day. Bar and restaurant staff (and food) were very good.

Small room, not value for money. No water in the room (chalky tap water is not acceptable). Noise from room above at 4am, then workmen moving around from 7.30am in the next door room. Very basic room facilities. Limited space to do work or put things in the bathroom.

good quality room and great food

comfortable and clean, well maintained with character. Food excellent, staff efficient and very helpful. Minor issue with the bathroom basin blocked but good reaction from the staff

nice boutique hotel with good parking

lovely room in this boutique hotel. bed very comfy and room was a good temperature.

the room was in the eaves so was small and the bathroom had a sloping roof with a very tiny sink. there were a couple of overhanging walls in the room and I banged my head a couple of times.

magnificent building, well refurbished and retaining its charm.

don’t use the location indicated on booking.com. That indicates the hotel is on a roundabout on the M62…it’s not.

Relaxing, comfortable, great surroundings and friendly helpful staff

Staff were amazing, we are an elderly couple with limited mobility and they could not have been more helpful.

Fantastic room, amazing staff. I can’t wait to come back.

The staff I met were incredibly helpful and extremely friendly and polite, especially the blonde lady at reception (sorry I didn’t get your name!) Thank you for everything! The location was fantastic, 10 minute drive in to Leeds centre yet felt incredibly rural and far away. The hotel itself was great and the room was way beyond what I expected, quite possibly the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you! We can’t wait to come back.

The room was quite noisy but this was completely overshadowed by how nice it was and how great the staff were, so it wasn’t an issue at all.
