Very nice place with stunning lake views

The rooms were simple but nice - we had a beautiful view of the lake. The property has stunning views and abundant access to hiking trails. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location was perfect. and easy walking access to restaurants and train station. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices- loved the fruit and the sour milk as well as the bread (I’m a veggie) - the family enjoyed the meats on offer.

While I didn’t expect a fancy gym, and I guess it’s very outdated as hiking is everyone’s first choice, it was disappointing to have just one of two ancient spin bikes (only one usable) and a few weights that had the plastic crumbling off them. The 5 kg barbells we’re missing and the mats were really dirty. So while better than nothing it could use updating!

very pricey for very basic accomodation. paid 1700 sek for one night and it is more of a hostel feel to the place then a hotel. it is overly priced for what they offer - you can get 4 star hotels for that price, and we were shocked the hotel feel their rooms are worth the price they are asking for it.

Over all a comfortable stay

The room was "no frills" with linoleum floor and nothing extra. It reminds you of a room in a good hostel, really. But the bed was comfortable. There were areas where you f.ex. could play some billiard or have a cup of coffee for free. The staff was nice and it was a bonus to have a buffé dinner included in the price one of the two nights we stayed here. Breakfast was good. It is a very peaceful location and we even had a close encounter with a mama-moose with calf just a few meters from the hotel. You park just outside the hotel, together with all the drivers/engineers for Volvo and Mercedes, who are in Lappland to test their car´s winter abilities.

The TV did not work when we were there, due to a shift from analogue to digital transmission. One might have thought that could have been forseen and fixed by the hotel. The prices are also quite high for the standard, but it is something that is more of a rule than exception in this part of Sweden.

Lovely location by the lake, but not the best value for money.

The location was great, beside the lake and very quiet. Not too far from the station either, only a 10 minute walk.

The furnishings in the room were quite basic and there were no “extra touches”, such as tea/coffee making facilities which we would have expected for the price we paid. There wasn’t even a mat in the bathroom to stand on after showering. Breakfast was OK but not great quality.

Excellent hotel, quality and cleaning, breakfast and room.

The hotel is in front of the lake, as well as the room has a wonderful view for the lake, cleaning is excellent, the breakfast also. It is a Sami-indigenous style, elegant and rustic , ethnic. Quite and good to work and relax.

Lovely stay

Lovely hotel with a sauna hut on the lake. Nice to be able to walk round the lake from the hotel. We were given a room with a separate living area which was great. The room rate also included a buffet in the evening which we enjoyed Pleasant and helpful staff

Hotel is situated by a lake (frozen in the wintertime). Our room had windows in two directions and hotel "provided" even northern light. Easy to park a car (we were here in low season). Staff was quick with check in/out.

Bathroom needs some refurbishment (but it was really clean, without unpleasant odor).

Very good

Hotel has electric vehicle chargers. That saved us a lot of hassle as temperatures reached -35 Celsius. Guys in reception were great and supportive. They helped us even when we arrived after latest check in. Rooms were clean and everything worked. Breakfast was great with good selection of foods. Same for dinner. People in restaurant also knew their stuff with drinks :). Overall feeling of the place was great. So remote yet full comfort.

The rooms could use some update. There was a broken warm water adjuster in the shower in bathroom and some strange smell sometimes.

Friendly and comfy hotel with lake view. Amazing staff and food. Great value for your money.

We stayed ther e two nights in January. The hotel location is beautiful, on a lake with Rooms and restaurant facing the lake. The position is also perfect for visiting jokkomokk and the surroundings. The buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent and the restaurant was inside the hotel, which is a great value in winter. The staff is really friendly and open for help. They let us keep the room for couple of hours more while waiting our bus. We strongly recommend to stay there!

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, only more attention to bathroom's hygiene needed.

The breakfast and the wonderful staff

The bathroom was not so clean, it was smelling both from the toilet and from the shower, maybe due to not being used for a while. The shower walls were not properly cleaned, and the room smelled very strong of sweat the first day. Suggestion: Open windows and air the room between guests. Check the state of the shower walls, all the way to the floor.

Hotel has a lot of potential, sadly staff didnt seem to care much.

Nice retro feeling arround this hotel, nice decoration on floors and dining room.

Young guy at reception should act a little nicer and more service oriented, we didnt feel welcome. Dinner was good but there was only one option and no desert. We wanted to order a drink but staff just sat in the kitchen chewing their nails.
