great price, great location

This was a big surprise. The room (and the hotel) actually looked like in the photos, was really comfortable and well-equipped. I couldn't believe how cheap it was, especially in its location!

The only drawback is that the toilet paper used was the cheapest one possible. It's more sandpaper, really. But that's literally the only downside.

good enough for an overnight stay as a hiker as long as you’re not to strict in your diet.

basically no breakfast options for vegans except for cut veggies and fruits.

Adequate, overnight accommodation for travellers

This was a last minute booking for an overnight stay only. Competitively priced and availability made my choice for me. Perfectly adequate accommodation with a clean room and basic facilities. No tea/coffee/water in the room. The restaurant for reasons unknown to me (lack of language understanding) was serving just one meal/menu of schnitzel. Since I don't eat meat this meant I had to go elsewhere for my evening meal. Mein host was friendly and we communicated as best as we could with limited understanding of each other's language. As a solo traveller and on the basis of my one night stay, I would recommend this hotel for like-minded travellers.

I had to leave at 3am, and the reception sorted out where I could leave my key.

Room was very large and well modernised

There is no lift and you have to go up several flights of stairs even to check in. Outside my room the decor. was very dark and dated. The sink in the bathroom was much to small. No food available when I arrived at 19:00.

Good value for money. Good breakfast. Quite place for relaxation

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money! Very roomy, including a big bathroom with a tub and an anteroom. Breakfast wasn't huge in variety, but provided quite enough, including fresh vegetables and fruit or scrambled eggs and the like. Location is good, near both a supermarket and the Oberhof bus station.

The rooms and furniture were rather worn. Lighting was a bit dim, especially in the bathroom.

Well located to the Main Street and the Lotto ski hall(10minutes driving)

We arrived very late and it was pitch dark. Sign to the hotel not directly visible if your navigator stops you at a corner. Perhaps a sign on the street would work as it is a crossroad type intersection
