Not what I thought

Good location to the beach and mount.

Purposely booked a room with spa bath which did not work! Pillows were very flat and bed very hard not a comfortable sleep. Bathroom lighting was very poor. No room service to replace towels and signs to dispose of own rubbish. Deceiving that this was in anyway connected to the twin towers as it's behind them so I would not consider this a beach view.

Huge potential, someone give this place a decor makeover and a bit of thought.

The location was excellent

Floors in bathroom filthy, no proper duvet on bed. Terrible shampoo & conditioner in one, wall pump. No milk given to make a cup of tea/coffee. Terribly dated. Such a shame as with minimal effort they could be amazing rooms, just no care or attention to detail.

Great place to stay, would book again.

We liked that we had a ocean view and that we were very close to the beach. Good eating places were just around the corner. the safe car parking was prefect. Being able to access the property with out any problems at any time was a great idea.

Very dated and musty smelling. Noisy at night and pilot bay facing rooms are very noisy throughout the day due to neighbouring building works.

Unpleasant room that had multiple broken and missing things. Cheap and nasty. So disappointed.

From the moment we arrived it went downhill. Did not know about security deposit, checked all policies through B.Com. Yet on arrival No key unless you pay $250. They keep it for a week. Nothing to do with B.com. Got an email a day before from Oceanside but it was so rude and badly written we thought it was a scam. (maybe still is). Sat in spa and discussed with others how badly run and poorly presented this place was. Will NEVER stay again.

It’s a horror stay we would never wish anyone to experience that.

It’s like a $80 hostel for $340/night we paid. The building is so old n smelly of indian food. The room is so dark n damp. The fittings r so dated. The service is very poor. The towels r thin n just a little bigger than the hand towel. In short, the pictures r like a scam, it’s nothing like it. This should b called a hostel not a resort n it has nothing to do with the twin towers as per name n photos. It was a horror stay.

Nice basic/cheap place to stay with amazing location. Would stay again.

Fantastic location if you want to be near the mount which I did. 1 minute walk and you are on the beach. Coffee club next door and some other nice places to eat nearby. Shops and other bars maybe a 10 minute walk. Just awesome. The room was really spacious with a couch, chair and table and chairs as well as the bed and kitchenette. The pool looked nice and well maintained - saw some kids in it and they were having a great time!

The furniture was kind of cheap and uncomfortable but as you would expect for the price - standard motel type furniture but it was perfectly adequate, no holes or stains or anything. There were coffee ring marks and drips on the side table next to the bed when I arrived - easily wipeable so obviously hadn't been wiped since the last guest was in. Everything else seemed clean but made me a little nervous about their cleaning. OMG I almost forgot the parking - wow, glad I went when they were off season so it wasn't full - those spaces were tight! If there had been a car parked next to me I wouldn't have been able to get out of my car door.

Location was excellent. Good sized rooms. Good having a kitchenette.

Rooms needed a good clean especially the bathroom. Headboard mirror needed cleaning, windows and mirrors dirty. Very poor lighting in all areas, some bulbs not working. Very few mismatched glasses in kitchen. Decor needed updating.

Nice accomplishment comfortable anough with “most” of the necessities you may need included in the 1 bedroom apartment

We liked the space in the 1 bedroom Apartment the size of the kitchen is great and the little view of the Mount was a nice feature of the room too Also nice to have the option of a heated pool, spa, gym and sauna

Kinda annoyed it wasn’t fully stocked with toiletries we had to ask for bathroom supplies and no laundry powder (that I could see) came with the suite even tho it had laundry facilities to use in the room, also…you had to hire the pool towels for $1… so if you didn’t bring your own that can be an inconvenience when you do pay enough to stay there you would think it’s inclusive of the price.

Great stay

Great location across the road from hot pools and around the corner from beach front cafes. Also close enough to downtown Mt Maunganui and it's fabulous restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean. Front desk staff very friendly and informative.

Broken light fittings. Fridge so iced up that it was useless. No ice cubes. No i information where to get ice from. Insufficient towels. 2 per person should be the norm.
