I liked the facilities, the staff is so friendly and every evening there is a new event organized!
Thanks to his location, it is so peaceful and definitely perfect!
You should give more lactose and gluten free options, talking about dessert and paying more attention because when I ordered the breakfast pocket because we reached the airport at 3am, once I opened it I discovered there was no gluten and lactose products inside even if I underlined several times while ordering it.

Breakfast selection was very good. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. The staff were very friendly.
The photo shown on booking.com for our room type was actually of a different room type. Our room was smaller and not as nice as the photo. This was disappointing as previously I have found the photos on booking.com to be accurate. There was some noise disturbance from the room above due to the chairs scraping on the floor - this was not the neighbours fault, it was hard to move the chairs without scraping. Also some neighbours liked to play their music loudly. But generally it was quiet after midnight.

In general, the hotel was nice and friendly
In general, the hotel was nice and friendly staff but the most terrible experience was with Spa center. I decided to book manicure service and it was the terrible service I ever received. I hated the whole process and the quality was super bad.
I dont suggest to visit SPA or at least manicure. Very bad result which made me super sad as the price was higher than in any other salons.

Good place to Hargrt with family
I did not get the room that booking.com showed on my booking confirmation - I was completely dissatisfied with hotels response who blamed Booking.com - I want booking.com to contact me directly as I want an explanation and some sort of compensation- I am still travelling for next 6 weeks so WhatsApp is probably best way of having a discussion?

the staff was absolutely wonderful; the food choice was really great and it was delicious; comfort in rooms was really good and they were really big; cleanliness of the hotel area was pretty good and whole area was beautiful

All staff was really welcoming and polite. High variety of food in breakfast and even choice of local foods which we enjoyed. All breakfasts we had outside, so we could also enjoy the garden view. Excellent view from our room as it was overseeing same garden and could see beach in a distance. We had some additional requests as we were traveling with 1 year old kid and hotel staff had no issues fulfilling them. Plenty of room at the pool area. For our surprise also water aerobics was free of charge. Parking area only for hotel guests, so there was no issue with parking spaces. We liked also location of hotel, as we were planning to travel by car, so everything was quite close by. Beach is nearby hotel, so you have no issues going there. We went to other areas in Heraklion, and it is a clearly issue in other places. Also beach is quite wide and with soft sand at hotel area, compared to other places were beach is very narrow and in some places covered in rocks and see urchins. Although other reviews mention factory nearby, you don't see it from hotel and if you go to the beach it is somewhere in the distance, so it doesn't affect you at all.
At room reservation it said coffee/tea maker - there was no such service in room, only electric kettle. I expected that if there is electric kettle then at least there will be some tea available, but there was nothing. Air conditioner didn't work properly. I requested 1 double bed - got 2 single beds. YoutTube didn't work properly on TV. If you go for lunch in hotel and order coffee, they have to bring it all the way from the bar, although coffee makers are just there (used during breakfast), but switched off.

The location was nice and the Resort was very well maintained - very refreshing and a smiling warm staff.
The food is ok, not very great.
The sea at the beach is cold as it's where the river with the snow water meets the sea, so not very warm water temperature.
We had booked a Bungalow, but they gave us a normal room, so that was a bit disappointing.

Animation program is weak, swimming pools are closed from 17:50, toboggans are open only after 14:30(15:00), the neighboring hotel has very loud animation programs both during the day and in the evening, mosquitoes in the room

The buffet was good and we had a relaxing experience!
Careful with the free photoshoots! They trick you into doing a free photoshoot which they later charge you 9 EUR per picture or those expesive sets with albums for 480 EUR which is crazy. They didn't inform us about how expensive getting the pictures are and were mad when we didnt wanted to spent so much for mediocre photos when we have cameras on or phone which make even better pictures!

Good breakfasts with lots of vegan options that were well labelled. The rooms were nice.
No restaurants nearby. Also getting access to the restaurants that are in the hotel require booking from a person who is rarely available to take your booking. Also the swimming pools were aggressively cold.

The all-inclusive breakfast buffet was fantastic.
Although promised ocean view, the room did not have an ocean view. We were told that it was ocean side & that qualified as ocean view room even though the room overlooked the gardens. see attached photo from balcony.

I could see the potential
it was their opening day, 1.4.2022. Pool was frozen cold, tradesmen everywhere , reduced buffet , annoying service at the restaurant but they did expect a final payment as if it wasn’t their opening day

We stayed for 10 days in the second part of August 2021. The price was great for the quality and service we've received.
Food: We had all-inclusive and I was happy with that choice. All the food was tasty, of good quality and there was always quite big choice: few types of fish, meats, lots of sides and dessert. In between the breakfast, lunch and dinners the bars were offering snacks. There are also 3 other restaurants: Italian, Greek and Vegan. We've visited the Italian and the Greek ones but personally we didn't enjoy it, the food in the main restaurant was much better.
Location and territory: Very close from Heraklion, 10 mins by taxi and 30 mins by bus (€1.5 one way if buying in the souvenir shop on the hotel territory, €2.5 if buying at the driver). The territory of the hotel is relatively big and full of vegetation. It is lovely to have an evening stroll there after dinner.
Beach and sea: The beach is big and clean. It is mostly sandy with small stones at the water edge. No sharp descent in the water, very gradual. 6 out of 10 days there were big waves and yellow flag, one day even red. It was fun. The water was very warm. However, half way through the stay there seemed to come cold underwater streams which made it nearly impossible to swim during 3-4 days. Then they were gone.
At the time of our stay it was very windy so starting around 11pm so we were getting cold and could take sunbathes for the whole day at the beach. I believe I have read it is due to the season and isn't always like that.
Pool: It is quite big and mostly deep (2-3 meters). There is a separate pool for kids. Very few sunbeds. In order to get us oes I got up at 7am, otherwise, they were taken. Despite the hotel sign asking people not to "book the sunbeds with the towels" literally everybody did it.
Personnel: Friendly, had no issues. On the day of check-out we were allowed to stay longer in the room as we had a late transfer. It was very pleasant.
Beach: There are a lot of big and quite sharp stones on the way when getting into the water. It didn't present any problem for me but for people with kids or elderly this might be an issue. Maybe the hotel might take into into consideration and improve the entrance to the sea.

Great pools and beach. Nice entertainment for kids in the evenings. Felt like I could let my kids wander and they would be safe and have fun.
Main buffet had an amazing amount of options but like in all buffets, quality suffers when cooking for a large amount of people.

Very tasty food with various of choices for everyone ( vegan, vegetarian etc). Reception always keen to help. Very clean rooms and the good access to the beach. Lovely exotic and well maintained garden.
Huge problem with mosquitos around the property (quite obvious as property located within the garden). Some staff at the bar was quite impolite if tips not provided. Some facilities not available due COVID ( like welcome wine to the room, indoor and heated swimming pool), however no information provided before booking regarding this so in general would asses as 4 stars not 5 stars hotel.

The slides and facilities for kids
The breakfast was terrible. No fish. Horrible packet coffee. Old out dated furniture. Tiny elevators. Suite was rally not worth it. No porter service. Unnecessarily filling forms. Radisson Blu Milatos is much better.
