Our 5 bedroom 3.5 bathroom vacation home is in Corolla in the subdivision of Ocean Sands Section 'D' on the outer banks OBX of North Carolina. The home is perfect for your family or multifamily vacation. It is located on open space with southern exposure, approximately 110 yards from the beach access or 150 yards from the beach itself. Because the traffic is much better, we rent from Sunday to Sunday. The beautiful beach is a short walk down an easy path with steps over the dunes. Life guards are on duty from May through September. A grocery store, restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc are a 1/4 mile away. Another grocery store, many more restaurants, shops, farmers plus putt putt, go carts, paddle boats, jet skiis, etc
The house has 5 smart TVs with YouTube TV, fast Wi-Fi and lots of board games, puzzles, cards, videos and books. A large well equipped kitchen, Florida room, decks and pool offer something for everyone. For the sports person besides having the ocean steps away and a private saltwater pool with heating option, golf (Currituck Club) is less than 5 minutes away, biking /walking trails are close and tennis/pickleball is only one block down the street.
**Cleaning and Linens are included. Beds are made prior to your arrival.
**Well behaved dogs (2 max) are welcome with a $150 fee. Pet owner must keep dogs off the beds and furniture and dispose of refuge in the trash bin.
**The pool is available from May 5 - October 20.
**Heat for the pool is $400 per week. If you want the pool heat option, it will be processed directly with the owner. Keep in mind other pool owners have told us the heater will only raise the water temperature about 15 Degrees above the air temperature.

Our second annual stay in OBX with entire family. This year we were so happy with the house. It made our vacation so awesome. The house was roomy, clean, perfectly located (the path to the beach was steps from us). The new pool was a hit with the little ones (and adults too!). The host is very attentive and it was one of the best appointed kitchen I have had in a rental. We like to cook in a bit and it was like being home!! A lot of personal touches to this property and it did not go unnoticed. Will definitely go back!!!

We had a great time. The home was super clean, nicely stocked with kitchen items that we did not need to bring along. The new pool is great! The location to the beach is super convenient. Glenn was very responsive. When we find ourselves back in the Outer Banks we would stay here again. Jen S.

We had such a great time and loved the house and accommodations! Glenn was so helpful and the house was so easy to live in (stocked with coffee machine and anything to cook and grill for the week). We loved it, nice quiet neighborhood and the beach access point and private beach was so nice. Definitely would book again and loved our first family OBX week here!

A nice place and great value. Easy walk to the beach with nice surrounding amenities. We also liked that it had character but with minimal "knick-knacks" and no carpet. We enjoyed our getaway at Kelly's Beach Retreat!
The only minor thing that caught us was that it lists the place as 4 full baths, but it is really 3 full baths with an outdoor shower. That may be a VRBO thing because when we looked closer, it breaks it out that way, but I didn't look at the details of the bathrooms until we arrived. Not a deal breaker but just something to keep in mind. On the plus side, having an outdoor shower with hot water was really handy to rinse off each day after returning from the beach.
Overall a lovely bright, relaxing house with plenty of deck space, common areas, a good kitchen for meal prep, and decent-sized rooms. We would come back!

This property was everything we'd hoped it would be, and a wonderful space for cousins to reconnect after several covid years apart. What we loved the most were the communal spaces that were so welcoming for family chats and dinners. The walk to the beach was short and easy and the space was spotless when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely time away.

The house was very clean and exceptionally well-equipped, from the kitchen to the beach accessories outside. The short walk to the beach and close proximity to the grocery store were big plusses as well. We had a great time.

Home Away From Home
For a week, Glenn Kelly's house was home for us. Located just feet from the ocean, Kelly's Beach Retreat provided all the comforts of home. We had differing age groups, and there was something there for everyone. Linens were provided, and the house was stocked with plates and utensils that allowed to cook most nights. Our dogs loved the place.

We Will Be Back!
This was the perfect place for our family! It had everything our family needed for a great week at the beach! It was close to restaurants but had a well stocked kitchen for the nights we cooked at home. It was private and secluded but the stores were easily accessible, and Glenn was the perfect host! We’re already looking at the calendar to book again!

Perfect Beach house
This beach house is absolutely perfect! We loved our stay. So close to the beach. The walk was very easy and we had 4 small children ages 2-9. The house has been well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals at home. It’s the perfect location in Corolla. Beach was perfect. We loved off the wall tap, uncle Ike’s, and the hidden beer garden. Glenn was the absolute best host. He was super helpful and had wonderful recommendations for our trip. The check in and check out process was very easy. Would 100% Recommend this home. 5+++ stars. It’s in the perfect area in Corolla.

A Very Pleasurable Experience
The whole process of reserving and paying for this Vacation Rental was a smooth process. The owner was very accommodating in answering any and all questions we had for him. The "Cottage" was spotlessly clean upon arrival. During our stay we discovered that virtually everything that you could need during your stay had been thought of and provided. We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness that was put into equipping the home for the potential renters. All of the rooms were appointed very well and were comfortable. The Proximity of the dwelling to the beach was exceptional. We would certainly be agreeable to stay here in the future. We were also very impressed that the home was very roomy and comfortable. The Kitchen was amazing, very roomy and well laid out.

Loved this home!
Comfortable, clean, great amenities. Easy walk to the beach and close to shopping. Responsive owner. Central vacuum was especially appreciated to keep up with pet hair and sand. Hoping the owner will rent to us again next year. Really the only thing I didn’t like about this house was that I had to leave :(

Great place to relax and recharge
Located at the end of a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood this place has everything you need. Beach chairs and umbrella, sand toys, and a basketball. If you don't want to go to the beach you can lay out one the loungers to relax and tan. Playstation and Xbox games in the bedroom with the bunk beds to entertain the gamers in the family. The balcony on the upper floor is a great place to see the sunrise or just to get away. Nice big kitchen that has just about anything you need to make a large meal. The center island was great for a serving station. The living room and dining room were great areas for games. I recommend anyone wanting to visit the outer banks hec this place out.

Kelly’s Beach Retreat
Great location in Corolla. Close to the Harris Teeter grocery store and many other shops and restaurants in the area. The kitchen is well outfitted for nearly any meal you can think of serving. Would definitely book again for our next stay in Corolla if available.

Great OBX beach house, steps from the beach
The house is great, clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there including beach amenities like chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. In Ocean Sands, South of the density further north, it is relatively quiet but close enough to get to all that the area has to offer. Great beach that was never crowded, great waves. Beds were all comfy and we slept well. Central AC kept us cool when needed. great back deck to sit out and watch the stars.

Great house, great location
Our extended family enjoyed this house for a week. The house is spacious, clean and stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and for the beach! We brought a big bag of beach toys, but really didn’t need them. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood and a nicely situated between Duck & Corolla for easy access to many restaurants and shops. Glenn provides great recommendations for activities and dining.

Glenn Kelly Beach House
Lovely house, very convenient to beach, well appointed kitchen!! Harris Teeter within walking distance. We had windy weather and cable and internet went out several times, easily rebooted via instructions left in the house. Locally we enjoyed the Currituck Lighthouse, and walking on the beautiful, litter-free beach. We rented kayaks and explored local wetlands as well as drove south to Alligator NWF, well worth the time. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kelly's Beach Retreat!

Excellent Vacation with Family!
The house and location were great! One street away from the beach (which had plenty of space!) and a 1 minute drive to a shopping center with Harris Teeter and other shops! There's plenty to do in Corolla for activities or even in Duck, just south...both just a 5-10 min drive away.
The house had everything we needed plus some! It was big enough to share with multiple families sharing the vacation, 2 refrigerators, beach chairs, beach toys, all the pots and pans you'd ever need, and a charcoal grill just to name a few. We really enjoyed the family dinners in the dining area and covered porch & evening relaxing on the large deck.

Another great vacation!
This was our second vacation at this property. It was great and relaxing. Perfect location for day exploration or spending time at the beach. The house has everything you'd want during vacation. Owners updated the decks, which is very nice. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation or even a small family reunion. Thanks.

My family, including my sister's family, recently rented Glenn's Beach Retreat and we couldn't have been more pleased. From the location to the beach, house amenities, and layout of the house, it was a fabulous week. Perfect Relaxing Spot
Our family made our first trip to the Outer Banks. Weather just got warmer as the days passed. Great place to relax in and out of the house. Very spacious and is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and for the beach. Grocery store within walking distance down a couple stairways on the beach and through a neighborhood. Our pup loved it too! We will return someday soon :)

Kelly's Beach Retreat
The experience at Kelly's Beach Retreat exceeded my expectations. The owner is easy to work with no hastle and stress free. The house is centrally located to EVERYTHING, Heart of OBX. House has all ammentities, just bring your food, linens and swim suit. If you are looking for a cheap rental house that is kid friendly, clean and low stress just steps to the ocean and a few miles from 4x4 beach driving, I truly recommend Kelly's.

Great place for families to enjoy the Outer Banks area. This beach house is like a "home away from home." House is well maintained and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. Just got back from Corolla and our stay at Kelly's Beach Retreat. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and it could not have been better. Property is great - clean and well-appointed.
