Perfect spot to take in this extraordinary island

I loved staying at Il Giardino Segreto, set up on the hill a little away from the village with breakfast offered on a large terrace overlooking the village and sea with the volcano behind. Magnificent setting, clean, spacious room with outdoor table. Valentina and Luca are friendly, offer advice but also give you privacy.

Juste magique, appart avec terrasse au coeur d'un jardin magnifique sur les pentes du volcan, à deux pas des sentiers de randonnées, La terrasse du petit déjeuner est à couper le souffle, un vrai coup de coeur !!

Sehr gut für Wanderer uns Abenteurer.

Idyllisch gelegen, eigenes Gartenhaus, sehr nette Vermieter, Aussicht auf den Stromboli perfekt. Kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte im Ort - man muss nur die halbe Höhe bis zum Hafen überwinden. Auf Bestellung gibts einen kostenpflichtigen Shuttleservice vom Hafen zum Quartier - sollte man in Anspruch nehmen, denn es gilt ca. 70 Höhenmeter zu überwinden!

Der recht steile Weg vom Hafen zum Quartier - aber dafür kann ja der Vermieter nichts😉

The host seems to be very busy, and we don’t feel like we are the welcome.. Its too bad because its very nice place! We hope it will be better the next time we will come;) Ps: change the towel everyday will be pleasant;)

Well situated apartment with great breakfast

Perfect apartment for 1 or 2 nights with A/C. Also breakfast on the roof terrace is perfect. Very nice and helpful host. Ideal location for trek to Stromboli fire show.

Nice place under vulcano

Nice room, nice environment and a big plus-it's located right under the vulcano :) breakfast was good, and also as a plus-it was on the terrace, where you can watch the vulcano on one side, and sea on the other side :)

Very quiet place, nice terrace

Nice garden and terrace, very quiet place, comfortable bed, prepared drinks in the fridge (for fee).

It is a little bit far from city centre, but it was not problem for us. Communication only in italian, but we catched the main info.

The perfect place to use as a peaceful and quiet base to both visit Stromboli town and hike the volcano.

Great location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. AC was efficient. breakfast terrace was beautiful. Very close to beautiful Stromboli town.

Bathroom was difficult to keep dry as a result of no shower door or curtain. Some barrier would be helpful to stop the floor from soaking with water.

Perfect place to start hike to volcano

Thanks for late check-in - our ferry was late and we were limited in time for excursion to volcano. The appartment is located almost on the top of the town - close to start of volcano excursions

clean, not expensive, with A/C, WIFI and a mini fridge in the room as well as breakfast included.

Quite far from the « city center », we walked the 18 minutes from the dock in 36 degree weather. I suggest you take a taxi

The garden, birds, tranquility and space. Lovely location below Stromboli mountain on the way up if you are planning to hike it. Outdoor seating avsilable in the garden.

The bed was too small for 2 adults. The rest was fine 🙂

Relaxing stay in a pleasant part of the island.

It was a lovely stay and I could see tropical plants from the windows of the room. Very relaxing. Nice to see the stars at night.

Peaceful house in the middle of the nature.

Remote location, which means a longer walk from the boat, but it results in sleeping in the middle of the nature, enjoying the peace. Definitely worth the walk. Also just by the path that leads to the mountain to observe the volcano. Friendly host.

Breakfast was only basic (we came outside the tourist season), but enough not to stay hungry.

Friendly and flexible owner. They allowed us to change the date because we couldnt get the ship. In a very nice place sourrounded by a secret garden.

A nice and quiet location, not far port, perfect starting point for hiking on Stromboli vulcano. A cosy studio in a huge beautiful garden. Lovely hosting family. If possible, I would stay much much longer at this lovely place.

Beautiful place to stay

The room is clean and comfortable, the location is a bit outside of "downtown" Stromboli but with a perfect view of the volcano. The gardens really are beautiful and definitely worth walking up there in the summer heat ;-) After doing the sunset hike we sat on the roof terrace and gazed at the stars and the thunderstorm that was building up on the mainland.

It was a bit difficult to find a staff member for the check-in, but after some looking around we finally found someone..
