Great location but bed and spa where disappointing

Food was fantastic Service was fantastic Location was fantastic

Bed was too hard, so slept on the lounge Booked a spa suite but only half the spa jets worked so that was disappointing

We absolutely love staying here

Breakfast is fantastic, overall we love staying here.

Spa not working, pool really needs an upgrade. Stayed in an older room so carpet pretty old, cleaners dropped a lot of black hairs in bathroom which is a little off putting.

Location, clean, large suite, views, friendly staff. Reasonable prices for meals.

When first arrived wasn’t sure where the entrance was, there is no signage to say Lakes Hotel at the double set of front doors. Could do with a toilet brush and hand towels. The remote controls for TV and air con could do with a clean/wipe down.

Overall good given other good points

The breakfast could be a lot better. Was barely average quality. Poor quality bread/bun, poor quality sauce in shakshuka. We did enjoy the views, superb restaurant at Tunki.

Great location, excellent staff and high quality and variety of food. The staff were extremely polite and accomodating of our needs.

Would benefit from an outdoor seating area.

This place is the best

Magnificent views, a good range on breakfast menu (and everything was exceptional). The room had everything you could need , for a short stay.

Nothing the hotel can do, but the pigeons on the balcony first thing in the morning, could become a pain. ( noise and poo).

Fantastic location, close to the beach, and shops. Roomy accommodation and fabulous breakfasts included each day.

Our room had an ant infestation but we were very quickly moved to a different room which was was super clean

Was okay for my partners birthday

Staff were friendly and it was close location Breakfast was nice

- showers had mold in the grout in the shower and around the edge of the glass door etc - I paid extra for the romance package happy with the champagne very disappointed with the chocolates it was just a block of chocolate with popcorn and the popcorn wasn’t very nice as it was soft. - I was told their was a pool at the hotel only to find out it was out of use due to maintenance

Love the facilities, the restraint and the rooms. All nice and clean. Always love my stays

The front staff could be a bit more friendly. Good customer service goes a long way. Some were nice some felt like I was bothering them. For example when you arrive, are you having a good day, not just you booking in and going through the formalities

Can't wait to stay here again.

The room size, cleanliness, balcony, friendly staff, breakfast facilities.

The only thing I think could have improved our stay would be perhaps to have mugs instead of tiny coffee cups in the room.

Great lake view

My wife and I have stayed here many times - that would not happen if we had negative vibes about the place. Our only disappointment is that Covid finished the extensive buffet breakfast and I am told that will not return. Pity. It's now a-la-carte.

Despite ordinary weather the stay was made warm by the friendly staff

Nothing to dislike. Excellence in all aspects with particular emphasis on friendly helpful staff.

loved the view , staff were friendly . beds were comfortable .

loved the complimentary breakfast friendly staff , good parking , beds were clean and cpmy .

not having a supply of towels at the pool , but having to get them from reception seemed unnecessary , and they took my room number so I wondered if they were going to charge extra for the towel . one of the reasons for staying there was the photos of the dining areas had grand pianos and as I play myself was going to ask if you needed any piano playing , but they werent there .

Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return to enjoy the newly renovated Crusoe's and bar.

The sliding door to our verandah, in room 120 was very difficult to open. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice View was lovely from the verandah

(Out of your control - I understand) but I wish Crusoe's and the bar next to it was open, as we always visit there when we stay =, have a pre-dinner cocktail in the bar, then enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant, its an extra special time for us. I'm sure next time we will enjoy it even more with the new renovations happening.
