Lovely beachfront spot, no spa

Excellent location with a sandy strip of beach that is perfect for swimming. Walking distance to small shops, spas and restaurants. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.

The soundproofing between rooms is awful, we could hear everything in the next room if they were making any sort of noise. There is also no spa on site despite the name of the resort and one of the listed facilities on booking.com being spa and wellness centre, which was a disappointment.

Schönes Resort mit tropischem Flair und aufmerksamem Service Das Coco Palm Beach Resort auf Phu Quoc bietet eine wunderbare Mischung aus Entspannung und tropischem Ambiente. Der liebevoll angelegte Garten mit eigenem Sandstrandabschnitt ist ein echtes Highlight und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind auf wenige Gebäude im Garten verteilt, maximal zweistöckig, und im charmanten Tropen-Chic-Stil mit viel Holz gestaltet. Die überschaubare Größe des Resorts sorgt für eine ruhige und persönliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, einige sprechen gut Englisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Anh Pham, der sich große Mühe gab, individuelle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Für vegane Gäste wie mich war das Standard-Frühstücksbuffet – obwohl reichhaltig – eher karnivore Tradition. Dank Anh haben wir jedoch täglich vegane Alternativen wie Chay-Suppe, sautiertes Gemüse (ohne Fisch- oder Oystersausse) mit Reis, frittierten Tofu oder Erdnussbutter zusätzlich erhalten. Pflanzliche Milch war nicht verfügbar, aber wir hatten eigene dabei. Auch Sommerrollen sind eine weitere vegane Option im Restaurant. Die Frühstücksarea/ das Restaurant, direkt hinter dem Strand ist ein schöner Ort, um in den Tag zu starten. Der Strandabschnitt ist schön gepflegt, sauber und mit bequemen Liegen, Polstern und Handtüchern ausgestattet – alles kostenfrei für Resortgäste. Motorroller zu einem angemessenen Preis von 150.000 VND gemietet werden. Zudem bietet das Resort durch die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Lotus Spa Massagen an, inklusive eines kostenlosen Shuttle-Services. Weitere Spa Optionen in verschiedenen Preisklassen sind in Dorf vorhanden (z.B. zu empfehlen ist Coco2).

Verbesserungspotenzial: - Ein paar zusätzliche Wandhaken in den Zimmern und im Bad wären praktisch. - Die Frühstückszeiten könnten etwas später angesetzt werden, - das Frühstücksangebot könnte standardmässig ein paar mehr vegetarische oder pflanzliche Alternativen beinhalten.

Hidden Gem.

Perfect accommodation Perfect service Perfect management. Result and guest oriented staff and management. Daily cleaning. Very good breakfast. Well maintenaned beach. Good infrastructure. Very talented chef, (almost) fine dining dishes. Acceptable prices.

My bungalow backed on to a resort being built or a saw mill so the chain saws were fored up very early every day,just mentt I was out and about early

The resort next to local alley way so local come to the beach, very little beach front. The sun lounge seats perched on an uneven beach front, so it's not very comfortable to lay on.

Perfect place to bypass the gigantic hotel chains.

small and very well managed Hotel directly on the beach. Beach is beautiful with lots of coco trees. Free sunbeds. Instead of a pool they offer a luxury park. An oasis. We should have stayed longer.

This was the perfect rest and relaxation resort. Highly recommend.

I had a spacious ground floor balcony room overlooking the water, close to the dining room and bar where guests enjoyed the spectacular sunset. I particularly loved the garden which was creative and eye catching.

The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with good amenities, inc, a nice large shower/wet room. The grounds were stunning but as the water features weren't working it took the shine off of them a bit. The grounds led straight into the beach which was a little on the small side but as the water is shallow it makes it a safe place for families. A nice beach bar is also right on the beach next to the area used for breakfast and dining, although it does close a bit too early. The food from the restaurant is of a very good standard. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, as is the manager who makes a point of speaking to all the guests everyday, usually at breakfast, to make sure there are no problems.

The restaurant and bar both close at 9pm which I think is too early. and maybe a bit more pricey compared to other local places to eat, but I suppose that's any hotel really. Again the inoperative water features in what are beautiful gardens. The manager explained to me that they had a leak in the underground pipe work, which he hopes will get fixed in the closed season.

The lack of privacy in the bathrooms was concerning. also there is construction occurring right outside the bedroom windows and there’s nothing quite like an early wake up call on vacation :(

Beatiful place on the beach!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are big and well equipped. The resort itself is beautiful with flowers and green everywhere. The breakfast was also perfect, even for vegeterians. We would love to come back one day.

Lovely small resort, located directly on a beautiful beach with palm trees and crystal clear water. The perfect place to relax on the island. The facility and the rooms are clean and well maintained, the garden is beautiful with many lovingly designed details and the beach is clean. There are sunbeds and sunshades on the beach and beach towels for the guests. The service is great, the staff is very attentive and kind, as well as competent and helpful at any time. The breakfast (Vietnamese and Continental) was good and abundant. You can have dinner in a la carte too, it's high quality and very delicious. It was a very lovely and relaxing stay!!

The beach was a bit eroded from rainy season and not yet fixed.

Great personable resort- highly recommended!

Friendly and approachable staff. The manager made you feel very welcome. Pretty well maintained garden/resort areas. Comfortable good size rooms. Right on the beach, good hotel restaurant and bar options, but also walking distance to other food outlets

Nothing! However we were there in the low (rainy) season so unfortunately there was no beach due to the erosion - no fault of the hotel though!!
