Fantastic stay

Location was amazing, super close to entrance 1 (10min walk). Very useful since we had no car. Everything was great and they even kept our luggage stored for the day while we went into the national park. 100% recommended!

i typically don’t leave reviews but this I had to because of how amazing it was. lovely stay!

extremely clean and well equipped property!! the home is spotless and everything was perfect. we were looking for a place to stay near the National park and there were not many options but this is definitely the one u should choose. u can park your car right outside the property, 5 mins drive to the town centre for food and a supermarket and most importantly, really nice host who keeps the place really really clean. beautiful surrounds and clean air to wake up to! highly recommend.

Highly recommended! Go for it without hesitation!

The apartment is near to Entrance 1, 10-15 min by walk. The host is very kind and helpful. She gave us perfect guide about how to see Plitvice lake. Even provided us pack of Milk when we asked. The garden is open and one can sit and relax outside with cup of coffee/tea. I will highly recommend this place without a doubt!

Great and quiet location for a very fair price.

Very friendly owner who offers services beyond our stay (e.g. allowed to use the bath rooms and parking after checkout). Quiet location and comfortable room. Very large room. Around 800 meter from the Natural reserve.

location is great, only 10 mins from entrance 1. The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable just like your own home!! They have everything inside just like in the description!! The kitchen is great, they also have essential things like salt, coffee…etc. The shower is amazing!! and the bed is very comfortable!! tThe owner is very friendly and nice!! We will definitely come back to them!! 100% recommended this amazing house!!

Great place to stay! Wish I could stay couple more days

This was a great place to stay. We were only here for one night and I still regret we didn't stay longer. Had a great nights sleep before going to Plitvički jezera in the morning. The accommodation is very close to the park entrance. It was very clean and in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The host was amazing, she gave us a recommendation for the park, she was very kind and welcoming. She also gave us some knowledge on which roads to take/avoid as we continued with our road trip. I'd definitely try and visit again!

Clean and spacious. The host was nice and helpful. Really close to entrance 1 of Plitivice park (mind the road when going to the house especially when it's dark, there is a safe path).

The surroundings are quite but you can hear neighbors if they close the door or talk loudly in the corridor.

Amazing apartment for the Plitvice Lakes

It was great to be within easy walking distance of the Plitvice National Park. The room was much bigger than we expected with a very well equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom. The shower pressure was amazing! Our host was wonderful too - showed us where to go in the national park and made sure we could contact her at any time.

Everything was wonderful apart from the bed which was slightly too hard for my liking!

Milka was a super host and very nice! The location is perfect to reach entrance 1 through the parking and see fireflies in the surrounding dolines during an after-dinner walk. The appartement was super clean and large with a comfy bed.

Very functional small studio apartment, all you need to start the day at Plitvice.

What a wonderful stay, just next to Plitvice Lakes. The apartment is small but very functional, and the owner is really lovely. There was all the equipment we needed to cook a meal and the free parking on premises was really appreciated. Moreover, we could leave our car parked next to the apartment even once we had checked out. The location is a dream, just a few hundred meters walking distance from the lakes. This allowed us to start visiting the park at 8.30 am when very few tourists were present (as opposed to the afternoon). Highly recommended accommodation, excellent value for money.

Can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Plitvice Lakes

We liked how spacious and clean our flat was, how powerfu and warm the shower was, how friendly and welcoming our host Milka was, and she met us in person, showed us our flat, advised us on an alternative way to walk to the Plitvice Lakes park (10 min walk), and also helped us with our luggage, how quickly the radiators warm up, how many items of cooking equipment there were, how wide the staircase was which made it easier for us to carry the luggage up the stairs (just one floor up). We liked the view of grass and openness from our window, and the location which made us feel more at home and which is more beautiful and peaceful than if we had stayed in a hotel inside the Plitvice Lakes park.

It would have been useful to have electrical sockets beside the dining table. Also to have a shelf above the sink that does not slant downwards. Finally, to know beforehand that the heating is switched off at night around midnight to 7am-ish so we don't worry when we wake early in the morning to find there is no longer heating – there are extra blankets though, so we didn't worry about getting cold at night. It was more important that anything that got wet in the rain could dry in time for when we departed, and they did dry in time.

Amazing place

That's a 12/10 quality bed to bring all the comfort. Super clean wooden floor in the whole building and also in the room. There's also a bath to let your tiredness vanish. Nice hostess.

If you want to start at entrance 1, stay here! Great value for money!

Perfect location for the Plitvice Nationalpark. Just 5min easy walking to entrance 1. The room was super super clean, the kitchen equipment appeared new to us. Small kitchenette but you have everything you need for cooking. The host was kind and sweet, explained everything on arrival. Parking is right in front of the building. The area is very quiet as well. You will need a car to get to the next supermarket.

Pretty little village short walk from Plitvice lake gate, with a swiss cottage feel!

10 mins walk from the entrance gate of the Plitvice lakes and bus-stand (latter just beside the entrance gate), in a nice little picturesque swiss like village. The land lady received us and guided us on the best route to walk around the lakes and get most out 4-6 hours one is going to spend there! After a tiring day at the lakes one can just sit with a coffee on the clean manicured lawns, or take a walk down the road on both sides of which the chalet like houses in Rastovaca is located! The house Milan isn't a 5 star property- neither it claims to be so - but a cosy clean place almost single handedly managed by the landlady, just a short walk to Gate 1 of the Plitvice lakes! The village doesn't have any convenience store, so if you are driving, you may be better off taking your stuff if you wish to make your breakfast before pushing off to the lakes! Coffee and tea making facilities with a small kitchenette and fridge is provided! There is only one family run eatery in the village, which happens to be located right next to house Milan, providing excellent home cooked food in a lovely ambience and reasonably priced! Overall a memorable stay!

The village is very small and has no convenience store, which though adds to the quite and cosy ambience, can be a problem if you need something suddenly- so carry your beers and booze and cold drinks, and eggs, ham, bread etc if you wanted a light snacks or breakfast!

10 minute walk to Entrance 1 of Plitvice Lake Park

It was only a 10 minute walk to the Entrance 1 for the Plitvice Laked Park. We found one great and one good restaurant driving distance of a couple of minutes from the apartment.

No open food stores near by... we should have bought food supplies as we drove through Bosnia.
