Could not fault our stay, will definitely be going back.

Everything, it was more like staying with friends than a b&b.

Comfort and prime location for the old town10/10.

Location room breakfast was excellent we couldn’t want more from this b&b martina and polo were more than welcoming would stay again no second thoughts well done!

We have no dislikes.

Very nice, food really good, friendly host, great location

Clean, tidy, comfortable

Shower would be great, didn't really appreciate we were in a basement. A light is needed by the steps down to the room.

Exceptional

The room was clean and big enough. Martina served lovely English and continental breakfast for us which were really delicious. The property itself was near the beach, restaurants, and attractions.

Loved Hastings..colour diverse full of history.

Loved the location, extremely close to the beach and in the old town. Our hostess was extremely welcoming kind and friendly. Breakfast was fabulously catered for and was based in the host's kitchen. This was not a problem as she was so lovely but I did feel conscious we were in her house and therefore didn't want to spend too long lingering over the food. Ideally would have been perfect to have a little area to sit outside the basement level accommodation but there were outside stairs where we could sit and chill.

Beautiful location and a wonderful host

Our host was lovely and prepared two incredible breakfasts for both the nights we were there. It was a gorgeous location, right next to all the best pubs, the beach and high street. We'd love to say again.

the location and the size of the room and bathroom made it exceptionally comfortable. breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the host was extremely charming

really there was nothing we didn’t like but as other reviews have also commented there is no shower so you need to sit in the Bath to shower. It would be better for the shower attachment. to be mounted on the wall. there is also no TV but that was not an issue for us.

Martina was a lovely host and very helpful. The room had it's own entrance and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice and served at exactly the time requested.

The bathroom did not have a proper shower.

Lovely stay by the beach with a very welcoming host

The host Martina was very welcoming and cooked a fantastic full English breakfast along with some delicious homemade banana bread. The apartment was in the perfect location, had a car park only a few minutes walk away and was close to all the amenities (Smugglers Caves, Old Town High Street, Aquarium)

Relaxing, restorative and great location.

Fabulous location in heart of the old town. Felt very private due to separate access. Breakfast was delicious and host super friendly and helpful in making suggestions about things to see and do.

Can't think of anything - it was thoroughly enjoyable.

FANTASTIC

Martina was a Fantastic host, the breakfast was to die for so much choice. The room was lovely and cool as it was a scorching weekend.

Absolutely fabulous stay in a perfect location!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Martina could not do enough for us and her breakfasts were fabulous. The room is private to the house with its own entrance from the street. The room was very spacious, absolutely immaculate and the bed was super comfy. We slept like logs every night. The decor is modern and it was great to go somewhere with lots of storage and plenty of hangers. Fabulous selection of teas and coffees including decaf which we hardly ever get anywhere. The location couldn’t be better, perfectly situated in the old town with access to everything on the doorstep. We are regular visitors to Hastings as our favourite seaside and have stayed in many places and this one was by far the best and we will be back..

The only comment we can make is the shower is an over the bath type but there is no shower rail or curtain so you have to have a bath. This looks like it is due to the lower head height over the bath so probably can’t be helped but certainly not a big issue and wouldn’t put us off coming back at all.

An excellent weekend away to celebrate our first wedding anniversary

Excellent location in the old town, across the road from the beach and the Hastings Contemporary art gallery, and very close to the East Hill which is beautiful to explore. Excellent breakfast as well and Martina is a very thoughtful host with lots of great tips on things to do in the area!

Only thing that I think could be better is a bit more info prior to arrival of where to park.

Highly recommended

The location, the proprietor, the breakfast, the room. Basically, everything was fantastic. Right by the beach with lovely pubs, restaurants and shops on its doorstep. Martina was lovely and so informative about the area and things to do and see. She also cooks a great full English. No tv in the room which suited us fine. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We will deffo be back - and we can’t wait

We loved breakfast! The choice of options was fantastic and the cooked breakfast was fab. I ate a lot of banana bread as it was so good. Really enjoyed chatting with the hostess too.

There is no free parking but parking was only a short walk and not too expensive!
