About this apartment rental

Prime lake front position with direct access on to Two Mile Bay beach and Lions footpath (excellent walking/running, biking, swimming and boating).

Sunny and centrally located. Only a 5 minute drive to Taupo township and walking distance to restaurants, cafes and kayak and windsurf hire with the popular Two Mile Bay Sail Club a short stroll away.

Panoramic uninterrupted views looking across the lake to Taupo and Acacia Bay townships.

Private outdoor lakeside entertainment area with BBQ.

Secure and quiet gated complex with good parking, own carport and a designated boat parking area.

Apartment has an open plan lounge area, gallery kitchen and dining area, all with lake views. Downstairs queen bedroom has own ensuite. While the mezzanine floor includes a king size bedroom and a third bedroom with twin single beds, both with balconies and lake views, and second bathroom. Portacot, with mattress and linen available.

Special conditions:
Two nights minimum stay. Check out 11am, check in 3pm (negotiable upon request).

Special rates apply for popular events/sporting weekends and public and school holidays.

Smoking outside only.

A cleaning fee of $100 applies to all bookings (which ensures all beds are made up, clean towels available and apartment kept to a clean and tidy standard for all new guests).

Please be considerate of neighbours e.g. keep noise levels down, no parties.

Immaculate garden, stunning position and comfortable beds, this was a wonderful place to stay. The views are spectacular from living and dining room and the 2 upstairs bedroom. The downstairs double bedroom is tucked at the back of the house. Lovely private outdoor area with view and easy access onto the Lions Path. We enjoyed and needed to use the cosy fire box. A drawback was the lack of any heating in the bathrooms, and only one oil heater (in the downstairs bedroom). Early morning was cold until the fire downstairs was lit. The fire lighter in the living room needs replacing or refilling and kindling would be a nice alternative to using the firelighter bricks to start a fire. Overall a lovely stay.

Perfect place right on Lake Taupo. Beautiful walk or short drive into the downtown, and your back yard is right on the water. House is large and has everything you need. Easy check-in process. I'd definitely stay again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this awesome accommodation in Taupo. We love the location, the spaciousness of the house and the quietness of the area, yet it is so close to town. The house is well equipped, with the most fabulous lake view.

We loved our stay at “Absolute Lakefront” and the house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We chose it because of its location and the privacy that it promised and it didn’t disappoint. Caroline quickly responded to a query when we moved in and we subsequently discovered a comprehensive file that gave us all the information we needed. We can thoroughly recommend this very comfortable property.

The house exceeded our expectations. Everything is laid out really well and there was more that enough blankets for the one really cold night we had. Absolutely beautiful location and so close to everything. We’re just annoyed that we didn’t book for longer. We’ll definitely be back (if allowed) and next time it’ll be longer (again if allowed). We loved our stay. The house was lovely and homely. And the location couldnt be beaten. The only downside was that we had a couple of cold nights and struggled to light the fire as there was no newspaper or kindling at the house, only big chunks of firewood. Other than that we would definitely be back.

We loved the location because it was less than one mile from our family's Taupo home. The view is on the lake with a path leading to the shore. We loved the space and decor. We would book again. Only a few critiques: there was only a few small rolls of toilet paper, no gas in the barbecue grill, and the master bath shower would suit someone that is about 4'11". Very wonderful for the price.

This is a great place for families. Location is right on lake taupo and the views are beautiful! There is an easily accessible walking/running path that goes around the lake. Local people are friendly and happy to share information - just ask. Check in was easy and communication was good!

Perfectly located to enjoy all on offer in Taupo. Whether you're after a stroll, run, swim, bike ride, coffee, ice-cream or food, it is literally all on the backdoor step! If you don't feel like leaving 'home' it is also possible to part of the action from your sun lounger on the patio. We highly recommend this great property.
