Friendly,lovely helpful host & helpers
Lack of buses due to Puerto Naos being closed. Only 3 a day! Worth checking online with TILP
Long walk to main road, fine if you are used to walking, bit tough uphill upon return. Possibility of lifts. Most people hired cars. Beaches further than quoted.

Great place to relax, amazing atmosphere, very friendly hosts, tasty breakfast. A lot of space for nice walks in bananas plantation. If you love nature this is something for you!

You have your own little cabin for a very good price with a small terrace and view to the sea and sunset. I had everything I needed and the people were friendly.
There were ants and geckos in my room but since it is called Amigos de la Naturaleza you should expect things like that. It was sometimes noisy because the houses are not well isolated and as soon as the sun rises the rooster is crowing. Also the WiFi couldn’t reach my house.

Initially it was difficult to find the location but after the first trip, I found a reliable route
The location overlooking the sea was amazing and at night the clear skies made stargazing an incredible experience.

Amazing place full of beautiful friendly people and a great ocean view :)
Great value for money: for the same price of a hostel you get your own private room.
Also recommended for solo travelers as the communal kitchen and eating space is ideal to meet other people to go on hikes and to the beach.
The hostess Ivonne is a very special and welcoming person, who'll always make an effort to make you feel at home.
The location has several bungalows with a shared kitchen and bathroom.
There was nothing I didn't like. I'd only say that it's probably best to come here with a car as the location is not in walking distance from any town.

You are in the middle of nature in a basic but sufficient single cabin.
Yvonne, the owner, is the soul of the B&B. You are directly considered part of the family, greeted by a drink and a welcome chat, to "arrive".
As I was there during Christmas, Yvonne invited us for a first class x-mas dinner wirh her family and all guests (we were all invited, without having to pay!), which was a highlight, getting to know everybody.
And also getting to know the story of the 2021 volcano eruption first hand: the B&B is just appr. 1 km away from the huge lava zone, which destroyed everything under it. The owners had to live for at least half a year in a hotel, came back and had to clean up (ashes!) and restore the place, so it could get guests again.
The eruption took place in Sept.-Dec. 2021, Yvonne could come back only in March 2022, opened again in May, the road connecting the 2 parts of the island opened in August (btw. only the temporary LP-213 works, all other roads are still cut as they are under 3-4 m of lava - do not trust google maps, but e.g. maps.me is up-to-date!).
Now everything works in the island, the volcano is quite, the landscape is extremely impressive (and heart-breaking if you see houses destroyed or listen to the stories).
So come to the island, not just to see but to experience La Palma. And support these local businesses, trying to survive!
You will not find a mini bar or TV. Also the common kitchen is kind of small (and is used by guests and Yvonne), the cabins are basic but ok.
You will also not find anonymity or partying hostel crowd...
And you need a car (parking available onsite), but you should anyway have a rental car to explore La Palma, otherwise you miss too much of this beautiful island!

Not a hotel, separate cabin just for myself. Welcoming stuff, although very Spanish. Sunset view. Quiet, although I expected it to be even more quiet :)
I didn't expect to have nature inside the cabin! There plenty of ants going through the wall, all over the floor, they were small, but still. Once I found a centipede (about 7-8 cm) among my things, not a pleasant "discovery". Finally one evening just before going to sleep a lizard got into my room. It appeared that there are few centimeters gaps around the door.
In other reviews people mention birds singing in the morning... Well, a rooster is certainly a bird, but I can NOT say, I enjoy being awaken every half an hour starting from 4 am. So first two nights I could not sleep well enough. Next day, after a 20km hike among vulcans I managed to have a good sleep.

The location was great for a quiet and peaceful experience. Although I traveled without a car, everyone helped me to get around the island, by showing me the easiest bus routes or, if possible, giving me a ride to nearby places. The staff is very friendly and helpful, overall a great experience.
Not so close to the beach by foot.

Yvonne, Juan Antonio, Marco, Emilio, Carmen, Rita: consider yourself a lucky person if you ever meet these beautiful souls. Every hour there the natures brings something magic: people, the ocean, the sky, the volcanos. Nature is wild and alive, showing a wild show with the scenario changig with/without the sun.
I had to come back to my grey city.Feeling depressed since leaving.

This was probably one of my favourite stays ever on all of my trips. Yvonne is one of the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet in your life, and this just made me feel at home and as part of a family. The location was perfect and had an exceptional ocean view with some of the most beautiful scenery on the island.
The place is somehow remote and there were no closeby restaurants or supermarkets to buy stuff, but honestly, this added to the experience of being in nature and isolated from the usual routine life. So I'd stock up properly before I visit again.

It could not go better. Since the first moment I felt very welcomed by Yvonne, her family and her friends. If you are looking for 5star hotel, it is not your place. If you are looking for a friendly people, for the contact with the nature, and the sunsets with the book or playing Rummie (Yvonne, next time I will win!), than it is your place. Forget about the alarm clock, there is something better - the cock who wakes you up with the sunrise. Not to mention the lizards .... they were super cute and a small trick ...... they love the goat cheese and they come next to you .... And least but not the last .... Charco Verde - you will love it
Nothing.

It's very quiet en peaceful, with lots of birds singing and little salamanders visiting the terrace. Yet it's a max 10 minute drive to the small town, so not far at all. The view is extraordinary! The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, with a lot of privacy. I've stayed here twice and prolonged my stay both times! If you're like me and don't need much luxury and love being in nature, this is the perfect place to be. Yvonne is a wonderful, lovely woman who takes care of everyone with all her love (and she makes delicious breakfast!)
I have no bad words.
