Queit peaceful place to stay

Loved the host and how friendly he was really great service.The location was beautiful and quiet.

The room was great how ever there was no microwave that was the only let down really.

Good value accommodation

Easy to walk to town centre along wide and pleasant roads near the river.

Near the aerodrome and heard planes/helicopters quite late at night.

A good old fashioned basic motel

Nice '70s style old fashioned motel

Quite noisy due to sounds from other rooms and traffic. Poor internet connection. No mosquito netting so having to keep all windows closed.

Un musée vivant.

Ce motel mériterait le nom de Musée. On se trouve dans les années 60: les meubles, la cuisine, le lavabo, les luminaires, tout est depoque et dans un très bon état. Et tout est très propre, bien sûr. Nous avons beaucoup aimé. Endroit calme et proche du centre.

The owner was top notch but dissappointed with the quality of our unit.

The place is outdated and needs a revamp. No microwave, paint coming off the ceiling, chairs needed replacing, draft coming through door and windows. Not worth the money charged.

Great comfy choice in the area.

Comfortable, well facilitated older property adjacent to the river on the way to Kauri Forrest. Fabulous interaction with the proprietor, so helpful and eager to please. Parking at the door. Short drive to shopping and restaurants.

Basic clean accommodation in Dargaville

Location and ease of check in and instructions. The motel itself was clean. The shower was great, and hot water was continuous. Overall everything you need for a quick nights sleep. Location was good too.

Dated decor and appliances, smelled musty when checking in and no heating other than a small fan heater, and was quite noisy due to a dog barking. Take your own pillow.

Disappointing

It was all old fashioned. The bed was old and bouncy so I did not sleep well. The bathroom and kitchen floor was sticky, maybe from cleaning product not being rinsed properly. The TV didn't work properly. The towels were old and not soft. An old fan heater was the only heating for a cold wet day.

That 70s Motel

Location was good staff were fine.

Straight back to the 70s very old decor including stainless steel sink. First motel I have ever stayed in that does not have a microwave in the room.

The concierge was welcoming. Clean, spacious room, Walking distance to retail and dining options.

The décor was very dated. The internet was unreliable in one of the rooms.

I liked that it was quiet. And the rooms are huge. Alan was grumpy that we arrived late, but the following day he was really quite a pleasant happy guy. Thank you Alan. Appreciate the stay.
