Piękny zabytkowy budynek ale nie wszystko było idealnie.

Jest też trochę minusów. Tu plusy: pokój przestronny, klimatyzacja działała idealnie, mieliśmy pokój na 5 piętrze było bardzo cichutko. Bardzo miła obsługa szczególnie Pani na początku (sobota). Śniadania, smaczne, sala bardzo mała, raz musieliśmy poczekać na stolik. Jedna uwaga ja bym dodała do menu czerwoną cebulę. Plusem, że wszystko było uzupełniane na bieżąco.

Łózko zapadnięte i bardzo miękki materac. Całość podniszczona, a kanapa do siedzenia całkowicie uszkodzona. Spodziewałam przynajmniej kocyka na plaże i może parasola, nic nie było. Przylot samolotem nie pozwala zabrać takich rzeczy. Winda jeździ bardzo powoli i ma pojemność 3 osób, a pięter jest 5 (pokoi sporo), ciężko z niej skorzystać. Śniadania smaczne. Soki na śniadaniu sztuczne i bardzo słodkie.

Hotel with an excellent price-/quality ratio in a stylish down-town building

The room - actually it was an apartment - was really spacious and had a very inviting atmosphere. the location of the hotel, just a few steps from the cathedral and the opera house is also great. The staff is very friendly.

Great location in the heart of Varna

Great location in the heart of Varna. Large rooms and a great view of the cathedral.

The rooms are quite dated. The breakfast was not very tasty and the restaurant itself is quite small and crowded. Bear in mind that the outside parking is Blue zone and you should pay by SMS, unless the hotel provides a parking spot.

Great place to stay

The hotel is in a old building with a nice look. The rooms are old look decorated, greatly refurbished, not everyone's style but all looks neat and clean. Our room was huge.

Two easy fixable things and one not so much 1. We had a hole in the wall and we could see the pipeworks. Somebody should find that misplaced lid and fix this. The manager should take tours more often if the staff is incapable of offering good feedback. 2. We had only a bathtub so we used it in order to make a shower. The problem is that the curtain was mounted almost over the bathtub so you could not be able to make a proper shower without that thing sticking to your body. Please move the rail 15cm away from the bathtub for the sake of a good shower experience. 3. Parking is paid by a stupid SMS system that excludes roaming tourists. If you are not bulgarian you cannot pay. Hotel should press the city mayor on this. Varna is a tourists attraction!

Exceptional

Newly renovated room, confortable beds, nice view (the hotel right next to the Cathedral), friendly staff and an amazing breakfast - we'll definitely come back to this place. :) The beach is about 20 minutes of walking and it's worth the experience - the old town has a lot of interesting buildings.

Great location. In vicinity of supermarkets and city center

Airconditioning was not working/switched off/disabled. Few days of asking to solve the problem, but no clear answer! Indoor temperature was 28-30 celsius. Refrigerator/minibar also was not cooling at all. Strange, sometimes disgusting smell on the floor and in the room. Wide open windows solved this problem. Low light, old furniture in rooms.

Stay somewhere else.

No bed frames. You are sleeping on the floor. Internet was weak. Be careful in the shower...curtain will fall. No breakfast. 10 years ago this was a great hotel. No longer.

Good

Great location. Next to the Main city cathedral. Walking distance to the main pedestrian street ( 3 min.). Old, pretty, historical building. Kind staff. Large comfortable bed. Children's bed. Nice view.

The room was quite cold. Apparently it hadn't been used recently and the air conditioner failed to warm it up for a long time. No extra blankets in the room. Few TV channels. Magnetic door cards do not work. There was no breakfast.

Great location but lacks the human touch

Great, very central location. Our room had a view directly out to the catherdral. Kettle and supplies in the room for making tea and coffee. Great powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

There were no options for breakfast which was disappointing. It seems they are really cutting down on staff so our only interaction with anyone was the person in the the very small lobby. In the afternoon while we were sleeping someone with a key (cleaner?) tried to enter our room. Very small lift with only room for two people. Bath didn't have a tight fitting plug so the water slowly drained out.

it wasn’t extremely bad but I would try to find something else next time.

good location, nice building architecture, good water pressure on second floor

the smell in the hotel and the room, the pictures of the room I payed for on booking didn’t match the reality because the room was smaller and with no sofa so I payed extra at the reception for the room I wanted, the sofa in the second room I eventually got was dirty and worn, the restroom looked like they couldn’t finish the walls up to the ceiling, the mattress wasn’t comfortable.

Avoid at all costs with your pets

- location: within walking distance (up to 10 minutes) from the city center and beach - spacious rooms, and comfy bed/sofa - they do not offer parking on site, but right in front of the hotel you have Blue Zone parking with 1 leva/hour (max 3) or 16 leva for the whole day with night time parking free.

this has been the second time at this hotel - in July we staid for a night with our dog and we did not have to pay anything, they said at check-in might be a fee but after all we didn't have to pay. now, we booked for 2 nights and had to pay 60 leva (!!!!extremely much for 2 nights!!!) for the dog. the most i have ever paid for my dog in BG was 24 leva, and for a week stay! we have mentioned when booking that we re arriving with a dog, received message from them confirming the reservation but nothing mentioned about the extra fee. we've came back due to the location/facilities and nice staff and moreover the pet friendliness - but that's gone. i always have lint rollers and such to clean after the dog who is a heavy shedder, but with such extra fee - for sure did not clean after ourselves. not coming back.
