Tranquilo y bonito

Hotel muy tranquilo y bonito. Camas muy cómodas. Desayuno muy variado y de calidad. Personal muy amable. La piscina interior se agradece,ya que el agua de la exterior está muy fria. La sauna y baño turco también están bien.

La habitación cuádruple pequeña. Aunque la habitación es muy bonita,el espacio para 4 personas y dos maletas es insuficiente.

A lovely stay

We stayed x9 nights in this calm, clean, friendly place. The staff were kind, helpful, friendly (& although their english is fantastic, they loved that we'd learnt just a smattering of Portuguese before we went). Breakfast was outstanding, inc fresh fruits, cold meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, juices, cereals, granola, yoghurts, eggs, bacon, sausages, many varieties of bread, GF section, diy pancakes and prosecco. The outdoor pool was unheated but once you're in, it's lovely.

The cascais shuttle driver is awful - he goes far too fast over all the speed bumps, so it's an extremely uncomfortable ride around all the other hotels, and he runs to his own timetable, not the one we were given by the hotel. If he's there fifteen minutes early, he leaves fifteen minutes early. We arrived ten minutes before the collection time and stood in pouring rain, waiting. It was twenty minutes before we rang the hotel who told us to 'just get a taxi!'

Beautiful hotel but make sure to stay further away from the lobby area in case of parties

Comfortable room, nice pool view, friendly service. Everything was great. Small things like personalised toothbrushes and molton brown gels&shampoos added a little bit of extra value to our stay.

Two things – there was a conference followed by some kind of after party. As we stayed on the ground level close to the lobby area, it was extremely noisy and we couldn't sleep till around 2 am. The internal pool and sauna area seem to need a little renovation. Was expecting better given it's a 5 star hotel.

Wifi wasn't working properly most of the time I was there. But I wasn't at the hotel enough for it to ruin my stay. although one day I did have to work from my room for a couple of hours and it was not great.

Fantastic stay

The staff was wonderful and very happy to help. Not to mention the Chef (I believe his name is Fernando Monteiro) was able to accommodate my food allergies and whipped out a wonderful meal for me at Rocca restaurant with a very short notice. I still dream about my dessert. Highly recommend the hotel.

Underwhelming

General cleanliness and view from pool facing room

Believe it should be a 4 star as opposed to 5 and priced accordingly. Wifi horrendous so impossible to remote work from this hotel. Rooms are red hot (despite AC sounding like it was working) and it was only 14 degrees in Cascais at the time, was hard to sleep so must be awful in summer. Our room position was also very unfortunate, lots of noise from lobby bar and entrance until late (music was fine, but a lot of guests screaming and shouting so would not be ideal for a family holiday) Lots of basic things overlooked, one of robes (needed to go to spa) had obviously shrunk in the wash and would barely fit a child, sleeves came to my wife's elbows. Small vanity kit not replenished after use on first day, one small complimentary water for the full stay, no conditioner or separate shampoo in shower.

Everything! The staff was super nice, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the resort was so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely go back!

The only thing I will point out was that the a/c wasn't working properly, but when I called the reception, they sent someone to fix it. The problem remained, but they tried, and they apologized for it.
