A 'Royal' stay in Viareggio

The hotel is an excellent location on the sea front, it has a divine little garden plus a private swimming pool. Every member of staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Bus stops at front and rear of the hotel, train station a 20 minute walk. Bicycles for hire. Breakfast was amazing with fresh delicious hot and cold food to choose from. Restaurant for evening dinner is reservation only if you are not half board and you are required to dress smartly. We couldn't believe out luck when we checked into this hotel.

Heerlijk!

Een mooi authentiek luxe hotel met een zeer prettige sfeer. Een heel vriendelijk en een behulpzaam team. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet! Een fijn en groot zwembad met genoeg ligbedden. Handdoeken voor het zwembad liggen op de kamer.

Не хватало джакузи в саду . И хорошо , чтобы полотенце -шутитили в ванной комнате работали . Негде с

Хороший садик , гамаки , большой бассейн .

Хорошо бы , чтобы бассейн подогревался . Вода холодная .

Location,breakfast excellent - overall a lovely place to stay. A lovely bar area at the pool and the bar in the hotel really nice. The canapes in the evening were a lovely touch.

not easy to book a table for dinner if not on a half board basis. A bit confusing to book.

I think the bike hire should be included in the price. it’s a lot of money to pay snd then paying for bikes on top doesn’t feel like a premium hotel ,

Location is very good. Parking at hotel a bonus for offloading luggage. Breakfast was the highlight!

Elegant, charming hotel with a great restaurant, a breathtaking view, friendly and helpful staff, and very reasonable prices. Would return any moment to this amazing place. Enjoyed every minute!

Great stay in a grand Budapest style hotel

Excellent location with delightful staff especially at the front desk and the bar! Some people may find it old fashioned but this is what made it.

Nice place, pay in cash when you arrive.

location breakfast very good

Bed too firm. Payment for you stay. First they take a full pending payment on your credit card. Then at the end of your stay you have to pay again the full amount plus taxes. I’m told that in 10 days time the pending payment will be returned, but when you are travelling on a budget that makes things very difficult. Not happy.

Beautiful hotel, which needs much better cleaning!

super location, best view, close to the beach, very helpful and friendly staff!

dirty floor and bathroom in the room, food in the restaurant is more for older people. The bikes available for guests were all brocken - almost got my husband into an accident because of it.

The setting on the promenade was superb. The bar facilities with an excellent bar person in Nicola.

Having booked & paid for a front sea facing view with an extra £200 being told at the hotel that it was only for a window & not a balcony. Having to pay an extra €250 for a balcony which you could get barely 2 chairs on.

grand old hotel. very well maintained. very good breakfast buffet great location staff very helpful

hot water not hot enough. showered with just hot water and was warm but not hot. food in main restaurant just okay.
