extremely rude

Over priced hotel, terrible breakfast. The older lady on reception was one of the rudest people I have ever come across we accidentally miss placed our beach towels and were charged $90 and threaten to stop our taxi half way to our next destination unless we paid over the phone.

Balcony had amazing sea views. Location was next door to lots of restaurants, and on the same level as the road.

All in all, very happy with our stay. Would definitely return!

view from our balcony was spectacular! Also, our host went above and beyond. Extremely helpful.

I guess the only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast in our room. We ran into rain for our first couple of days and we’re not able to eat on the balcony. Room was not really set up to have breakfast.

A fantastic location in Positano

Perfectly located near restaurants and shopping. Spectacular sea and cliffside views from balcony. Close to steps down to the beach. Breakfast provided was ample with the opportunity to enjoy whilst experiencing sea views from the balcony.

Lovely view from the balcony

Great hotel overlooking the bay! We had a room with balcony. They serve breakfast in room. Excellent restaurant is just across the street. The host was very friendly. The beach towels are available for going to the beach.

You can hear the neighbors. Our neighbors unfortunately were louder than average, but they were calmed down by the hotel stuff, so after the midnight it was calm again.

Beautiful sea view from the balcony.

When doing the check-in, we found out that the hotel had a pick-up service from the port. It would have been nice if this had been informed us in beforehand. Due to covid, breakfast was still served into rooms. One needed to pick up a half an hour timeline and we asked for 9-9.30. The breakfast was served already at 8.10. The orange juice was horrible, coffee didn't come with milk even though ordered with milk, muffins were just about decent and croissant was not crunchy. And that was all you could order (one optional food/person and two drinks). You had to do the check-out already at 10.30 so I wonder, why on earth the stuff had to come knocking our door to take away the tray. When doing the check-out the staff wasn't interested in knowing how our stay went.

Rooms have a great view and the breakfast in your room is a nice touch

It’s important to know that to get to the property requires climbing up steep stairs for about 10 minutes. Just a warning for those who didn’t know.

The views, the quality of the room, and the staff were amazing overall.

The location was amazing! Wherever you are in Positano you will have to climb stairs regardless, but Palazzo Talamo was in a great location. Breakfast sent to our room to eat on the cute balcony was an even greater experience. There was nothing better than having free breakfast brought out to enjoy with an even more amazing view. The cleanliness of the room was spot on and the tiles in the bathroom were so beautiful. Overall, extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely come back.

The beds were not very comfortable but it still worked.

the view from the room was spectacular. eating our breakfast on our own balcony was very nice.

wifi was not the highest speed. the tv system was very slow.
