Very damp smelling, shower was a health hazard, no elevator, very basic facilities. Advertised as with parking, it’s in actual fact “go down the road and pay for the parking lot”

Well located hotel but not the best value for money

Central location, gentle staff.

Atmosphere is very old school, bed is not really comfortable, towels smell like bleach. Fine for one night, not more.

Great hotel in the centre of Pau

Great hotel in the centre of Pau close to everything you need. Hotel was beautiful and clean and we would definitely stay there again.

Bed was a little hard for our liking but a minor issue and personal choice.

Very good

Huge room with two double beds and a marble fireplace (!!!). Excellent location in the center of the town. Huge comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. Good value.

Although it is clear that the management is doing their best to maintain the rooms with nice decorative touches, comfortable beds etc, the hotel shows its age. There is no lift, we had to wait for a few minutes for the hot water, etc. Personally I am willing to put up with these given the reasonable price and the excellent location, but this depends on each person's taste. Moreover, parking is not easy on the street so you will probably have to park in one of the nearby underground garages (which are not hugely expensive, however).

Lovely

It's a cute old style hotel, which has not yet been wrecked by rampant modernisation. We found it to be delightful. The cleaner arranged our teddy bears neatly after making the bed - that was very cute :-)

The internet connection was patchy, but they are apparently trying to sort it out!

Great for location but just O.K as a hotel as the room was quite small with no view.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location close to many choices of restaturants.

Parking! would of preferred if hotel advised location for local parking.

The location was perfect, just a few hundred metres from the main square in Pau. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
