Simpatia do Gianluigi, nos indicou passeios e restaurantes. Precisávamos fazer o checkout cedo, antes do café, mas mesmo assim ele providenciou nosso café antes de partirmos.
A pousada fica em uma área muito alta da cidade, e proporciona uma paisagem linda.
Por ser no alto, o acesso é mais difícil, mas o anfitrião se disponibiliza a pegar os hóspedes em um horário predeterminado no centro.

The view of the property is amazing, Gianluigi is a great host helping a lot with getting up and down to Sorrento, the help is mandatory as it is lots of walk. The panoramic view is something that made our stay so special
I would suggest to do different types of breakfast as we stay a few days and was the same.
And make sure to check if city tax needs to be paid.

The most wonderful view of Sorrento and Vesuviu, from the balcony and the garden where I had breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. GianLuigi, all the time I wanted, he helped me with a transfer from the house.

lovely quaint Italian home, the owner Gianluigi couldn’t do enough for us.
Maybe a little further out of town than we are accustomed to, but the shuttle provided by Gianluigi to and from the town morning and evening was great. It wouldn’t be feasible without this service as the climb on the return journey is STEEP!

Absolutely loved the entire vibe of the place. It literally is paradise if you want to connect with the nature, enjoy walks and don’t mind being farther from the center. We loved that Gianluigi provided transportation and we could always count on him!
WiFi could be a bit better considering some of us needed to connect for work purposes. However the weather was challenging during our stay so maybe that could be the reason of slow connection? Even though very yummy breakfast was highly appreciated, it would be even more wonderful if we could get more local fruit or something healthier as an option.

The view
The pictures posted here are misleading. The owner is cheap. The heater is only on for an hour.
Breakfast is not a buffet. He just gives you a piece of bread coffee done in the microwave, and we have seen him not washing the cutlery just wiping them and reusing them for other guests also we have paid in advance and before we left He charged me an extra 50 for my 1 year old crib without giving me a receipt

Gian Luigi is a gem! his hosting is beyond! he reads people exceptionally well, unobtrusively provides what is needed, responds to needs in an easy and gentle manner! also, the location is perfect for people who enjoy trekking and hiking…it’s on a hill, well above the center of Sorrento…while Gian Luigi is available for pickup and drop off when needed, we found it to be an excellent added benefit to walk up the hill after dinner through a beautiful stone path! Gian Luigi through his contacts arranged 3 trips for us…could not have been happier with the experience!
several of the rooms are just off the breakfast area and since we were there during a cold spell, mornings were somewhat noisy. if that is important to you, definitely ask for one of the rooms away from where Gian Luigi serves breakfast indoors.

The house has a nice location with good views. The ambience of the breakfast was nice - surrounded by olives trees.
The house is really far from the center and the pick up and drop off by the host is not guaranteed. Without a vehicle it is tough to get up and down. The breakfast and cutlery is very basic. The rooms are also very basic. In our room we found clothes from the previous occupants. Nothing special and not worth the price we paid

it was high in the hills of Sorrento and just gorgeous. A little rustic but lovely! Guanluagi came and got us from the bus station and brought us back down to the city for shopping and dinnner. He picked us up again at 9 pm. This place was certainly very nice . Breakfast was not fancy but it was filling! i would definately consider staying there again.

If you want to truly experience south of Italy this is the best place to stay in. This place is situated on the mountain, with an amazing view (you don't need to book a room with a view to have a view, the common terrece has an amazing view). It has an amazing garden with all kind of trees and plants (lemons, Olives, Oranges etc.). Gianluigi is an amazing person, who helps a lot the tourists. He will come every night to pick you up from the city because the house is a little far. The breakfast is more then enough. We had a truly italian experience there!
P.s. Gianluigi is a master of driving on the Mountain.
The road to the house is a little rough if you want to go alone. But it is possible. Especially if you want to make some cardio.

An incredible little bed and breakfast with an amazing view of Sorrento and Mt Vesuvius across the water! Gianluigi was so nice and took great care of us with a lovely breakfast each morning before dropping us into town for the day in his minibus. He also helped us plan our days so we made great use of our time there. The property is very quiet and secluded at the top of mountain behind Sorrento.
The walk from town back to the accommodation is tough, but we only did this once. Gianluigi picked us up from town every evening

Hidden Paradise! The location was peaceful and serene just what I needed for a weekend trip. The staff and hostess were very courteous and friendly and flexible. If you are driving I recommend parking your car by Hilton Hotel and arrange for pick up. The winding narrow roads are best suited for locals to navigate. I was simply amazed by our hostess driving skills. I also recommend bringing snacks and fruit with you to avoid multiple trips downhill. All things considered I would happily return to this beautiful Paradise.

The host was nice - however, the property is far away from the center, you have to rely on the transportation provided by the host, there is no bus. You cannot walk because is steep walk - you need to have a car.

You wake up in a dream location. nothing is too much for the owner Gianluigi, you are treated like family. the breakfast on the terrace over looking the sea, was amazing. the owner Gianluigi picks you up and drops you off, don’t look any where else, highly recommended xx thank you Gianluigi xx

Beautiful view, amazing host, fantastic and secluded location.
the secluded / quaint nature of the property acts as a double-edged sword. You experience great views, but you should be aware it is quite far up a hill. we would recommend you hit the stair master prior to your trip, or rent a Vespa. renting a Vespa allows you to enjoy the beautiful view, and save your legs going up and down the large hills.

The view from the place is extremely beautiful. It provides you with the complete coast view. The breaksfast is good. The host Gianlugio is a very nice person who took care of eveything from bringing us from the city center to the hotel and back. Nice services and nice people.
Transportation could be a problem as its located at un uphill so a bit dependent on the shuttle service provided by the owner. But didnt had much problem as Gianlugio was readily available.

Gianluigi who owns this family run BnB is the most kind and funny person you will ever meet. If you want to go to Italy to gain an authentic Italian experience then this place is the place for you. The BnB is situated at the top of a hill far removed from the tourist part of Sorrento which we preferred. It is surrounded by multiple fruit trees that the family would use. This included figs that Gianluigi's wife served for breakfast which were delicious! We walked down the hill into the city on the first day which I would highly recommend as it was a lovely walk appreciating the views and admiring the fruit trees on the way down. Gianluigi has a shuttle bus and would always be available to collect us no matter the time from the main city centre, once when he wasn't available his wife collected us who is equally as lovely and we made sure to tell Gianluigi she was the better driver up the rocky hill to the BnB 😂 If I was to visit Sorrento again I would definitely stay here again!
If you are looking to stay at a 'bougie' hotel then this isn't the place for you - it is a modest BnB with the run of the mill facilities such as a TV and a fridge (which we preferred). The rooms are pretty basic and there is no AC, however, a fan is provided. We preferred this and it was a great value for money but I am just adding this here for those who are looking for something with more amenities.

Gianluigi is exceptional, his advice and multiple
shuttle bus runs to and from the town were
invaluable. The property itself has a stunning
outlook over Sorrento and the bay!
The breakfast was excellent and we found all
facilities to be clean and comfortable.
Through no fault of the property we made the
decision to walk with luggage, this should not be
attempted! Take Gianluigi up on his kind offer of
a lift!
Taxis will only drop you off halfway up the hill which
leaves a long steep walk!

Spectacular views in old style Italy. 25 minutes walk up a scenic path/hill from Sorrento.
Made to feel welcome by the owner. A shutter service up and down the hill if needed. Yummy, filling breakfast out on a gorgeous terrace with a view. Spacious room with a little balcony overlooking Sorrento.
