Amazing location, cute place, delicious breakfast

Super centrally located (so central that all the surrounding streets were closed during Winefest, which made figuring out where to park a bit challenging). The apartment was very charming and well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend this location to anyone. We booked the apartment and found it perfectly appointed for our family of four.

Check-in could have been smoother - the owner texted the keycode to me the morning of our booking. The problem is that I had installed a European eSim because Canadian data costs $15/day to use in Europe so I could not receive text messages (an Airalo eSIM was WAY cheaper). It would have been better to either message through booking.com (where I had done all previous communications with the property) or email me (or all three) to ensure I had check-in information. Of note, I had not texted the BnB before so I didn't have an expectation that I would be getting check-in via SMS. SO to anyone who is considering using an eSIM, please reach out to the property to confirm check-in details otherwise you run the risk of not being able to check-in. This doesn't apply to anyone from a country with reasonably priced mobile plans, but for Canadians, I definitely wanted to flag!!!!!

The room is on ground floor next to the road that goes to the castle. Can be a bit noisy at times

Good sense.

Check in time was not available. Also the Wifi of the hotel didn’t work well from my room. It was always level 1 or 2, then sometime nothing.

Exceptional

The breakfast was superb… Nice selection of breads, cheese, meats, marmalade’s, etc. Great coffee too. The host was very affable and made us feel welcome.

Very spacious rooms with a great location. Close to the castle and walking distance to all restaurants and centre. Good breakfast and overall very good value for money.

I would recommend to maybe add a few possible parking garages where people can park and to inform them they can drop their bags and then go park there. Parking is quite a struggle in Cochem.

Owner was very friendly, breakfast was great, let us store luggage bc we arrived earlier than the check-in. Had the Lancelot room and it was very big.

Comfortable. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Wine glasses in the room.

It would be nice to have a lockable room to leave the bags after check out. No privacy as people on the street could see into the room through the gaps between the window blinds and the window frames - need to change to a curtain that actually blocks the whole view from the street.

Recommend to stay

Nice location, warm welcome from the hotel, comfortable beds, clean and quiet room, coffee and tea are provided for free, breakfast optional.

The internet connection was a bit weak in the room, but it’s not the must have if you would like to have a chilling vocation in Cochem!

Wholesome place to visit!

The place is located centrally in Cochem, close to any restaurants or wine tasting places.

We stayed at the top of the building which was tough to climb after drinking... probably we needed more cardio tho!

Hosts are very sweet and welcoming, trying hard to make the stay comfortable. Replace pillows

Pillows provided, 2, were small and flat. bed was very firm

Great place in a very nice location

The location was fantastic, only just 3/4 min walk to the river walk and also to the city center. The host was very helpful and flexible with request. He also responded really fast when communicating

The Wi-Fi was really bad inside the room, but if you are in Cochem probably its a good place to disconnect yourself from the net ;)

Great Service and Perfect Location

Bas the owner and host is great. He provides good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Breakfast is fit for a king. The bed is very comfortable and the BB located very close to the castle right in the town. Great

The B&B made our stay relaxing, convenient and charming! Thanks for everything!

Location was perfect for the castle and Christmas markets! Staff was excellent and the breakfast was more than we expected! We will recommend this B&B to friends and family!
