Perfect place to stay

Easy to find comfortable good breakfast 5 star staff five minutes away from town centre

Nothing only thing we had room behind kitchen so it was a wake up call at 6 am no long lies

Stay here!

I am so glad that we chose the Roosenwijn Guesthouse for the first night of our stay in Stellenbosch. From first contact, when there was a problem with my foreign credit card to leaving, everything about this place was exceptional. The room was enormous, and the bed very comfortable. It was quiet at night and the breakfast staff, service and food were all very good.

Altogether a lovely stay.

It is old world charm with friendly staff, I will certainly consider staying here again. It was a beautiful day in Stellenbosch and having a lovely place like this made it great. Coming home after a long supper in a hot venue was nice, in the clewan swimming pool.

A nice place to stay for a night or two

A delightful colonial property with that old world charm.

Due to load shedding the air con didn’t always work and in the loft room it could get quite hot.

Excellent stay - staff, location, facility

The staff and Jennine were so helpful and nice, always wanted to help and give advice on what to do. The facility feels a bit antique (and we loved it) however the condition of the facility is very good. The breakfast they offered is exactly what you need to start your morning in a good way.

Great place with history and charm

The house is superb, very classy, charming. the location is also great, you can walk everywhere from there. Staff was extremely friendly!

I did a mistake of taking a simple room, and it was too simple.. compared to the rooms in the mansion, my room was tiny and faced the parking.

Magical, vintage style spot with a homely touch a stone's throw away from the restaurants.

Communication was great. We arrived and were showed to the room by a friendly staff member. The vintage decor in the rooms and breakfast area were magical bringing up a nostalgia for the cottage style homes you would find in Tokai or Clanwilliam. The room sported a usable balcony & incredible skylights in both the bed and bathroom. The shower was adequate and the room itself quite homely. Breakfast was excellent with a chef providing perfectly made poached eggs and willing to go the extra mile of replacing the bacon with mushrooms. Bonus: I only eat custard danishes and lo and behold to my definite pleasure that is the delicacy that was provided. Thank you :).

The only gripe i would have is the two single beds moved together. You can never escape the joint between the two beds.
