It was ok but we won‘t be coming back.
Proximity to the beach Size of the bungalow Kitchen equipment Supermarket on site
No pavement for pedestrians (lots of small kids on bikes and scooters!!) and constant car traffic - dangerous and not acceptable Very noisy evening entertainment, with shouting to the mic (why do you need to do this?) Noisy entertainment at the pool Not enough showers and toilets at the beach Small and very crowded swimming pool Ridiculous prices for the sun beds and umbrellas at the beach

It was ok, but not our kind of place
Close to Venice. Nice pool-area.
Lots of mosquitos. No umbrellas by the pool so difficult to find shadow (and the sun was hard). By the beach you could rent a set of sun beds with an umbrella, but they charge 29 euros. If you need an extra bed it’s 7 euros extra and if you want first row an additional 6 euros. It’s insane🤬.

Passable
There is a beautiful beach nearby and the restaurant is great Easy to get to Venice and other place by boat.
I couldn't sleep well because of the noise from the bathroom drain and shower drain is blocked. The floor was dirty.

Great facilities and friendly staff but they charge you for even basic amenities.
Facilities were nice, clean and general staff was friendly. You basically do not need to leave CVC at all during your stay. Beach was nice. Ice cream store was good and the flavors very tasty. Overall Camping Village Cavallino has the makings of a top notch resort if there wasn't for the few things that pull the result down. Local restaurants and supermarkets are available with a short car drive.
They have a "bleed you dry" mentality as you must pay for even simple things that no other resorts charge for. I have visited hotels and holiday resorts all over the world from 3 star to 5 star and use that as comparison. They charge you for sun beds at the pool even if you have paid to stay at the resort. They do not give even simple amenities for cleaning after, such as dish towel, dishwash liquid or a dishwashing brush/sponge. All must be bought and they remove anything that is left by previous guests. Not even salt or pepper was in the kitchen. But of course, their on site store has it all! They also have a bathing cap regulation in the pool which they site as being hygienic reasons (without merit as most males have more and longer hairs on their body than on their heads) and they conveniently sell them to you despite it not being informed before arrival. The food in the on site restaurant was extremely bland and not up to any of the local restaurant standards, so you are better off visiting restaurants for each meal.
