Exceptional

Very clean decent sized room in a great location with a great owner (very friendly and helpful). Superb breakfast which I could not fault in any way. Fresh and cooked to order, highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again if we go 🔙🔙 to South shields.

Up from Huddersfield for a football match (Hebburn vs Brighouse Town)

Paul's welcome was pleasant and businesslike. My room was spacious, warm and comfortable. Special mention must be made of the magnificent breakfast (Eggs Royal (poached eggs, smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce and chopped chives) with good fresh coffee. Highly recommended

We couldn't have breakfast as the oven was broken we were discounted 10 pound for this

The bed wasn't very comfy very low other than this we slept well

Fabulous Kingsmere, amazing vibe, great location, mins from beach and great price. Very impressed.

Amazing location, in a beautiful area, near parks, beaches, restauraunts and shops, couldnt get a better location. Amazing owners, friendly, knowledgable of the area and fantastic prices. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and I am highly recomending Kingsmere to others when going to South Shields. Ive already booked to go back. Also lovely touches the owners did such as the compostable slippers and the dressing gown you can borrow makes it extra homely.

There were no negatives.

Only there for a short time 4 hours booking .com advert inaccurate and has to pay £11 extra

En suite had dodgy sliding door making me feel exposed when using it

Paul what a host nothing was any bother 2 him breakfast fabulous really clean bedroom with everything you need well decorated and always smelling really clean and fresh we will def be returning as soon as we can location fab

Really good venue

He thought of everything, a little box with a sewing kit, cotton buds/pads and lady products. There was a heater and fan in the room, they had an iron and iron board, a hair dryer, coffee facilities in the room and the breakfast was lovely. The property its self was done up lovely really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant

the location was great and easy to walk for a meal or a stroll along by the water.

shared with owner we could not get the shower to work and they said they would take a look and never did waited till almost check out time but no one turned up. we tried all settings but there was no hot water. we emailed the property on our return and they said they tested once we left and it worked. it is a shame as this really spoiled our stay.

Utterly Perfect!

All was excellent. The breakfast, the room was immaculate - one of the cleanest I have stayed in. The family room with bunk bed was very much a joy for my 7 year old daughter to stay in. Had a lovely chat with both of the owners. Just a delight and the location was excellent - very quite, slept with the windows open! A very short walk to all the parks and beach and amusements/fair etc. A fabulous location and a gem of a guest house. We are looking forward to going back.

Lovely breakfast and great hosts, good location near to the beach and Ocean Road.

The bathroom in room 2 is a bit small but functional.
