Pésimo servicio

Llaman a la puerta todo el tiempo y una se va para descansar y sentirse segura y el alojamiento no otorga seguridad... Llegué a hacer una consumision y pagar con transferencia pero la transferencia rebotó (porque había escrito un número mal por error) y me escribieron para avisarme y a los 2 minutos ya que no respondí en seguida porque no había visto el mensaje, tocaron a mi puerta desesperadamente para pedirme que pague, cosa que me hizo sentir bastante insegura y como que les quería estafar, siendo que ya había pagado por el hospedaje (y me parece que con eso ya debian darse cuenta de que no soy ninguna estafadora y simplemente aguardar a que les responda el mensaje y rehaga la transferencia). También llaman a la puerta desesperadamente cuando llega la hora de salida, cosa que nunca me pasó en otro hospedaje, hotel, etc; en los demás lugares simplemente te dejan unos minutos más o te realizan un recargo y listo... Ni un minuto había pasado y ya empezaron a llamar a la puerta como lo hicieron desde que llegué. Tampoco funciona el wifi, tiene un patio agradable que no pude disfrutar porque los personales ya me.hicieron sentir insegura desde el primer minuto.

Un lugar que buen precio, atención muy buena y en excelente ubicación

La atención de la recepcionista del turno noche es estupenda, muy amable.

Las habitaciones con mucho olor a humedad, tampoco me gusto que al bañarse es molestoso que en la perilla pase electricidad es peligroso

Primera mala experiencia (horrible) en booking

2 recepcionistas Paraguayas fueron muy amables.

Habitación sin armario para ropas+camisas y 1 simple frazada de franela para taparse. (Esas que te dan en el avión) -Facilidades rotas y sin mantenimiento (picaportes, llave de ducha etc) -Costo de refrigerador (15.000xdia) -Poca higiene y odores en habitaciones. -Agua se compra, sin bebedero. -Wifi no alcanzaba habitación Horrible experiencia con administración del local. Quise cancelar y salir en el segundo día ya que no descansé nada para ir a trabajar al día siguiente. Pague una noche extra para hacerlo. No me dejaron salir ni cambiar mi reserva. La administradora del local pidió hablar con migo. Se paso gritando en el altavoz y hablándome sin el más mínimo respeto. Me ofrecí a pagar multa o comisión por la cancelación, me negó poder hacerlo. Completamente cerrada a negociación esta persona. Finalmente me obligan a pagar los días que no iba a quedarme (2 días más). Pague y me fui. Luego de sentirme como un prisionero y ya estando en otra acomodación, Booking.com me escribe a reclamar que salí sin pagar. Envíe mis comprobantes de pago a booking.com pidiendo que dejen de trabajar con este local. Decenas de comentarios sobre la mala experiencia de los huéspedes y Booking.com aún no les suspenden la cuenta. Local repulsivo, indignante y sobre valuado para la basura de servicio que ofrecen.

10% for paying by credit card bed and pillow were uncomfortable hot shower didn't work renovations being done in the hotel without prior notice overall untidy yard furniture fittings were old, unclean damaged sliding door and chipped wall Only reason I didn't move is because I was jet lagged and very tired I didn't want to complain or else I would have gotten really upset

Good enough for a short stay

The hotel has its nice sides, but also things to improve. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location short walk from all places of interest in center. Air conditioning was well appreciated (Asunción can be hot…).

The shower with fluctuating temperature, between warming and unpleasant kind of tepid but never really hot or strong. The price is quoted only in dollars, but then you are charged in local currency, and the amount worked out to be higher than the one in the booking. Also payment by card attracts 10% surcharge.

Not a great experience

The hostel is apparently nice and have good common spaces…if only they were kept clean! in particular swimming pool looks lovely in the summer.

No generator (and we had 5h blackout, which apparently here is frequent), not enough weather to take a shower (I tried and give up), dirty sheets and floor, completely unhelpful staff, not good vibe and did not feel safe. all this despote I had a provate room! I was supposed to stay 2 nights, and I left after the first one.

Good

The pool was great as well as the very green garden around the pool. It was an oasis in the city. The people who live in the hostel were nice. The location was amazing, so central. Most of the staff were helpful and kind, particularly Fernando.

Light came through windows at night. Staff who greeted me had no information at all about possibility of tours or where to to find out. The shower water was not cold but never really warmed up. No bath mat made it hard to not get water on bathroom floor. The room was very basic but inexpensive and did have functioning air conditioning. The lights don't turn on without key card and one had to lock the door from the inside in the dark at night. I booked for 4 nights and needed to change to two nights only. The owner insisted on charging the full four nights.

Very good

Loved the fact that we got to hang out with the locals (not (m)any tourists in Paraguay!), who would either stay here during the day, or on vacation. Everyone was so friendly! (yes, you need to speak Spanish). This is an oasis in the city, with great garden and pool. We did take advantage of it on the day of the arrival, after a long travel, which was amazing, and mostly took day trips from then on. The room was super small, but it's ok. We did walk around Asuncion, but not much. The location of the property is great...

DO NOT leave ANY food in the room! I had nuts in my backpack and when we got back from a day trip, it was FULL of small ants! It took me a while to figure out where all these ants in the room are coming from, and when I did, it was pretty gross... no clue where they came from, but - anyway... since we, travelers, always have some emergency food stash in our backpacks, thought this would be useful. Not a biggie, in the end...
