Personnel sympathique mais endroit très mal fréquenté !

L'accueil du personnel

L'environnement très défavorable qui plombe l'emplacement de l'hôtel, point de deal, personne en état d'ébriété, regroupement devant la porte empechant de rentrer facilement dans l'hôtel endroit malheureusement très mal fréquenté en bas de l'établissement.

Je regrette. J’ai vu qu’un autre IBIS dans la même ville est moins chère et l’environnement est plus confortable

impossible de dormir, gestion des nuisances et réponse inacceptable du personnel

la chambre était propre et fonctionnelle et le petit-déjeuner correct

le manque de sommeil et la façon dont le personnel a géré la situation et leur comportement face à ma demande. Il se trouve qu'une bande de jeunes (accompagnés d'éducateurs que je n'ai pas croisés) a décidé de faire la noce à l'étage où je devais dormir. Claquements de portes incessants, courses dans le couloir, regroupements à 10 dans une chambre, cris et discussions à pleine voix dans le couloir et dans les chambres avoisinantes jusqu'à 2h du matin, qui ont repris à 6h du matin. J'ai dû intervenir moi-même, mais cela n'a pas suffi. Le lendemain, je demande à la réception quel est le règlement intérieur à propos des nuisances générées par les clients. Le personnel me répond qu'ils ont fait ce qu'on a pu pour les calmer avec l'aide des éducateurs (sans succès, donc), et que ces jeunes ont payé comme moi. Une réponse totalement inacceptable. D'autant plus que le règlement intérieur, affiché sur le comptoir, stipulait expressément que les clients troublant la paix des autres seraient sortis de l'établissement sans dédommagement et sans autre justification. Je peux comprendre la fatigue du personnel, mais il est payé pour ce travail et pour faire respecter le règlement intérieur, pour ma part je paye pour dormir. Traiter des comportements inacceptables par la compréhension, et des réclamations justifiées par le mépris est inaudible et intolérable.

The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The water was hot for shower. So very good value.

It was a one night stay to break a long train journey

It was just across the road from the railway station from which we had an early train so was ideally situated but…

Being a group of 3 women we felt a little uneasy about the people hanging around the area

Would not stay here unless you reeeeeally have to, or unless you enjoy being awaken in the middle of the night by yellin

The staff were friendly and kind

A gang of drug dealers hung out outside the (open) front door the entire evening and into the night. Mold in the bathroom. Noise from the dealers outside and due to thin walls you could hear people arriving well into the night.

Great value right by the station. Comfortable rooms and comfy beds. Good storage for bicycles. Helpful friendly staff.

We chose this facility because it had the IBIS brand, we would not have chose it if it did not come under the IBIS brand, we feel let down and do not trust the IBIS brand anymore

The accommodation smelt of cannabis and other drugs, the people outside the premises made us feel unsafe

A dump and dangerous area

A dump and a very dangerous area. Drugs and prostitution

He wanted cash upfront and didn't take credit card. We moved on to another respectable hotel.

Great Location. Incredible staff! Really affordable pricing.

Right across street from train station. Kinda seedy area wouldn't love it with kids but for adults its great. Baj the evening attendant is awesome! Set it us up with driver David for Normandy Beaches private driver which is only way we could have accomplished in one day.

Close, clean, friendly and good value for money

Very close to the station, and the cleaning staff was very helpful.

The neighbourhood does not feel very safe, but this is true for all train stations at night.

The design of the room was excessively simple. For instance it is not possible to get to the clothes hanger fitting without either climbing over one of the beds or else moving the bed

Clean and Comfortable

The location is terrific especially if you are travelling by train. It is directly across from the station. Our room was wonderful for a one night stay. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable and filled our needs perfectly. I can't say enough about the staff. We were greeted by Elia and she couldn't do enough for us. Such a wonderful person. My Husband had contact with the Manager and he, as well, was very personable. We would stay here again if ever in Caen.

If you come by car then No parking available. Need to find some paid parking and carry your stuff.

Basic but cosy, USB plug charger would be really helpful

The room is really cosy and comfortable, nice shower, comes with shower gel, very clean.

There is no USB plugs and no way to get any when you arrive in the night so be aware of bring your EU plug if you need your phone charged the next day, the heater wasn't working, so i had a cold night.
