Superb
Our room was very comfortable and warm with plenty of hot water. A generous breakfast with delicious homemade jams was served and the Kärntner Kasnudeln were a hit. We would definitely come again.

View to a cemetery
We have been there only for one night and the hotel just reopened after the covid disease.
The view from bathroom way to an churchyard, cemetery, which was a little creepy. There breakfast was very poor maybe it is for the reopening.

Surrounded by cemetery
Friendly stuff, one of the 4 booked rooms had a very nice stove in the room. Very quiet area. Easy to find and park.
Almost all rooms face the cemetery, have a view of the cemetery by the church only. This is not seen on the pictures. Not all travels like to sleep right next to dead.

A welcoming, old-world place, tucked away in a very-peaceful corner of the Carinthian hills.
Buffet breakfast was good. Dinners were very good, imaginative, locally-sourced, with use of local herbs. Good location for local mountain hiking, but you definitely need a car. The address may be Gurk, but it's 20 minutes' drive up a mountain with no bus service. It's a very peaceful place.
