A lovely getaway and recommended

My partner and I stayed at this lovely venue on Sunday the 3rd September for one night. We travelled 30 x miles for an overnight stay and a day / evening away. The booking was straightforwards and the venue looked "nice" and the location seemed very central. Upon arrival (2.15) we were a little early for check in - I had been sent information beforehand about access to the key codes etc. There was parking available and immediately we were so struck by the loveliness of the venue - which was better in actuality than even the pictures on the internet. I was hoping to at least be able to leave the car in situ - until such time as our room was ready but inside we met a lovely lady on housekeeping. She was friendly and welcoming. She informed us that she was still in the process of room readiness but we were welcome to leave our case and bag in our room (5) so that we could go off into the village and our room would be ready for us soon after. Please thank this lady she was very pleasant. When we got back we followed the straightforward instructions collected our keys from the designated key box . The room was lovely for us . All facilities worked - everything was clean and smelt very fresh. A high standard of hygiene was obvious throughout the venue. The cubicle shower was very powerful and refreshing - high quality fluffy bath size towels and an array of soaps & shower gels provided. The bed linen was really and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. There was little external noise intrusion- even though we could see that there were a number of other guests staying that evening. In the morning we.followed the instructions provided by text message and deposited our keys in the box provided. We didn't see any other moment of staff during our stay - but this was absolutely fine in fact it added to the tone of our stay it felt nice to be able to "do things for ourselves" and all in all it worked a real treat.

I would be "reaching for ' something negative to say. It was a real delight and highly recommended 👌

A lovely property and the room was comfortable and clean. We both slept well.

We were a bit distant we could only get BBC consistently on the tv and there was no DVD player in the room in spite of DVDs being available.

Nice and clean, shame I wasn't able to get in to use the bed due to the entry system

Location

Shame there was no breakfast but that aside my phone ran out of charge and that had the code to the door on it, sent by text, so I ended up having to stay with a friend elsewhere and return with a charged phone the next morning. Having the front door key was of no use.

Excellent Stay

The location of Grassington Lodge is great in that it is very close to the village centre but far enough away to ensure a quiet stay. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and for the price represented excellent value. We will definitely stay here again.

The only suggestion we would make is for a couple of bottles of water to be included in the room's fridge.

Spacious room. Soft but comfortable bed. Lovely views from our corner room and good ventilation with 2 windows.

Toilet cistern running all the time. Shower had black mould in places. Too close to a quite busy road so lots of traffic noise. It is claimed there are 10 parking spaces but not true plus other people use the parking

Good choice of accommodation.

Good, clean rooms. Easy checking-in process. Excellent location, 2 minutes from the centre of Grassington. Great walks in the Dales easily accessible. Good restaurants nearby.

No breakfast available, but not really an issue since there are plenty of places to eat in Grassington.

Nice place

Beautiful suite, we were allowed to check in early because we due at a wedding. Lindsey was really helpful.

We love grassington

We had breakfast over at the Devonshire arms, it was delicious and came with a 10% discount for staying at the lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank you Lindsey for letting us check in a little earlier.

Luckily full Christmas spirit!

The location is ideal

Upon arrival we weren’t greeted by anybody although it was before 630pm and the key to our room wasn’t in the security box. Luckily we found it on the unit underneath. Unfortunately when entering the room the television didn’t work, the tea/coffee making facilities had not been changed since the previous guests which is definitely a first and only one towel available. Having tried to contact the numbers available we did receive a call from a very apologetic lady and were upgraded to the suite which was a very good gesture. However, there were no pillow cases on the bed and no towels so we had to retrieve the one towel from the previous room. Not the best experience but the lady who upgraded us was very helpful.

The good thing was the area

Too much messing about with the code pin wrong code given to me.Then was given the wrong room which was on my text from Grassington Lodge. Which was not very good we could hear all noises people going to Toilet and showering above us The original room we booked 1st was around 5 but we could not have the dog in there. Then she gives the option of room 6 with no ensuite or an extra 20 pound with a on ensuite with the dog in . I chosen room 6. But we ended up with room 10 for some reason x
