lovely stay on banana plantation

Lovely spacious 2 bed apartment ( apartment no 8) with a 2 levels . Sitting area , kitchen and massive terrace on upper level and 2 bedrooms and bathroom downstairs . Place was clean , small kitchen with hob and own , toaster , coffee maker (no microwave) and everything you need to make meals . Terrace was very big size with amazing views of property and ocean. Very peaceful with sound of ocean and singing birds. All bedrooms had joined balcony. Property is located short drive away from Puerto de la Cruz . Pool is very good size , it’s covered and warm . It was great on cool evenings and windy days . 500 m +/- from nearest black sand beach ( going via property)

Road to the property from the gate is very steep and worn , need to take extra care going down or up . WiFi wasn’t great and only worked in the sitting area . Hot water in the shower was hit and miss , we never knew when we get hot water , end up having lukewarm water most of the days . Pond and BBQ area need some TLC .

Very kind and considerate host, big and comfy apartment. We could order fresh bread in the morning and there was a nice path down to the coast.

A great spot to explore the north-east

This house is cosy an just good enough for 2 persons. A lovely terrace with sea view. It was well equipped and everything was working. Close to the house is a very good restaurant. You can reach the beach by descending a path next to the banana trees (at this time this beach was closed due to safety reasons). You can hike right from the house to Puerto de la Cruz and la Orotava is nearby. Overall: an excellent spot to explore the north east, north west

Location! We were in apt no 8. Grouped with 6 and 7 down in the middle of the plantation. Apts 1 to 5 are up along the main road. Super big and sunny terrace!! Sun from 09.30 untill 18.30 in February if that is your thing. View!! If cold and rainy, there is electric heating.. We had great weather and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely gardens! Great beds. Nice bedrooms, a small but well utilized kitchen, okay bathroom. Only one toilet, not separate from the bathroom.

Location.. steep road downhill through a gate off the main road. Parking (and turning) was fine! Apt 8 really needs renovation. 70's interior and decoration. Saggy, broken curtainrods can and should easily be fixed. Outside furniture nearing end of life. Cannot speak for the other apts, though. Not all that bad but could definitely be better.

The silence. Located in a large banana plant you can hear the waves soothing you. Great kitchen with lots of equipment and even an oven. Generally well equipped for everything you need. Spacious and comfortable. Nice staff, great location for those who seek the quiet.

The Wi-Fi signal was very poor.

A hidden gem of Canary islands

So calm and comfortable place! So quiet, I woke up with thr breeze and with the sound of ocean. Surrounded by banana palms, this place is a hidden gem. I can recommend this place for everyone seeking tranquility and quietness. Though you need a car, be prepared for some challenging parking here (which is the part of the unique experience of Finca El Rincón). I loved that unbeatable view of the ocean from my window. Thanks, Qingmei. Hope to come to your place again.

Nothing really serious to mention. The only thing could be improved is the quality of Internet. Hope you can invest some efforts to make it more stable and faster.

The housekeeper is really friendly and does a lot to help you out. She picked us up from the airport and had some good tips for visiting. She even came in the night when there was a big ants problem and solved it. The Fincas are a little bit simply furnished but the price and location makes totally up for it! Highly recommended!

We LOVED the property and found it very convenient for eating, grocery shopping & sightseeing.

We really loved this beautiful and peaceful property. Good location for traveling to major sights on the island. Great view from our apartment (#1). Apartment was well decorated and furnished, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We got a little lost on our way there and so phoned the owner, who quickly came to meet us and take us to the property.

No complaints at all - but a few points some visitors might need to bear in mind: Internet access is a bit spotty. You really need a car. (Not a hardship as car rental on Tenerife is incredibly cheap.) If you are in apartments 1-5, the pool is a long hard walk away! The tv worked well but Brits should note that there are only two channels (both news) in English. The San Diego restaurant is 2 mins away on foot but we thought it was mediocre and overpriced. There are very good Indian and Mexican restaurants 2 miles away, on the edge of Santa Ursula.

Amazing

Amazing accommodation! Cozy apartment, so beautiful garden and sea view. Peaceful and quiet place and a lot of animals. All surrounded by bananas plantations. Close to the amazing black sand beaches by the path along the coast. Definitely it is a perfect place for everyone who loves nature, beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere!

Wonderful experience. I already miss my friend the duck from the pond and the banana trees all over.

Huge property in nature with picturesque view of the ocean and Sunset. You wake up from singing birds which you can listen to all day. The host is very friendly and supportive in case of any extra inquiries. Highly recommended if you want to be in a secluded location.

Prepare yourself for insects as you are in middle of nature, but apart of that there's not much what to dislike as the location is amazing.

It could not have been better - we will come back!

Wonderful view on the sea, good equipment of the apartment, very nice and helpful hosts, there was the possibility to get fresh bread every morning and even eggs, avocados and wine( the latter we realized only the last day!)! The whole terrain is wonderful, with a small pool, a pond with ducks and table tennis facilities within banana plantations. There was some issue with the Internet, but the host offered us to move to another (even nicer and bigger) apartment with very good WIFI. Also, the host said they they would change the Internet provider in the apartment we have been such that I believe that this issue will not be there in the future.

Unfortunately one can not swim in the beaches nearby, but this is often like that in the north of Teneriffa - just good to know for people who like to go to swim before breakfast in the sea (you would have to go until Puerto de la Cruz, which is however nearby). The apartments are oriented towards the North, such that they are not very sunny. However, especialy when it is hot, this can alos be an advantage. Besides, you always find spaces on the terrain where you have some sun.

Lovely retreat immerse in a banana plantation.

The location is marvelous. You are immersed in a Banana plantation, surrounded by green trees with the house facing the beach. The view is incredible, and you can admire the ocean from the house terrace all day long. The property has easy access to a black sand beach: Bollullo beach, a terrific spot for the experienced surfer.

I'd suggest making it easier to collect the key by providing only the necessary information. The garden is immense, and a little bit more maintenance would make the place a terrific one.
