Lovely apartment inside...clean and bright.

Our small family had a fabulous stay at Dreher Palace. The apartment is as good as it looks in the photographs and everything you could want is on your doorstep. It was spotlessly clean and all our needs were catered for. Although we did not meet, Stefano was extremely accommodating & looked after us from afar.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The location is very central but the apartment is quiet. The interior is modern and functional, and it was very clean when we arrived. Check in instructions were detailed and communication with the host was always prompt.

We loved this light and airy apartment. Everything about it was great from the location to the cleanliness to the communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was very modern, had all the amenities you could want, it was close to the bridge to Buda, had grocery stores and cafes nearby, felt very safe and luxurious! Plenty of room for 4 people. We will be back again!

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful building and apartment. It's even better in person than the pictures! Communication was very cordial and helpful.

Great location for seeing all the sites both Buda & Pest sides. Owner was wonderful & very nice to work with. So Sorry - I forgot to start the dishwasher before checking out. :(

My friends and myself had an amazing stay at this apartment. The location was very convenient for us in the inner of Budapest, very spacious, and the photos in the ad matched the property. Also, the host was very helpful throughout our stay with great communication…. Highly recommend this place!!

This was my first VRBO experience, so I was a little nervous but I shouldn't have been. Stefano was good about communicating how to check in to the property. He even sent a video through WhatsApp on how to do things. The property itself is a historic building but has a small elevator to assist you in getting to the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans) apartment. The pictures in the listing are accurate. You enter and the two bedrooms are off the foyer. One has a bathroom attached, the other bathroom is down a short hall to the main living space. Furniture is Ikea/danish modern and the sofa was very comfortable for afternoon naps, which my jet-lagged self appreciated. The owner has put a lot of thought into what things a guest might need/want when staying. Dishes/cooking things were adequate. There is a small nespresso machine. The WiFi worked well for us. The balconies were adorable. The location is great. There are two metro stops very close by the apartment. We used CityMapper and Google Maps to figure out metro/bus routes to various attractions. The Aldi down the street is kind of chaotic, but there are other bodegas fairly close that are better organized. The cake shop down the street (about half a block away) was my favorite in the city (we tried several). Do yourself a favor and try the chimney cake (we thought the simple vanilla was best) early in your trip rather than waiting! I (40+ YO woman) stayed in it by myself for a few days prior to my friend joining me and felt safe in the apartment and building. Things I wish I had known: Americans may be surprised at the lack of washcloths, but I think this is a universal European thing. They supply 1 towel and 1 hand towel per person where most American hotels would supply 2 towels, 1 hand towel, and at least 1 washcloth. This meant that we bought towels (5k HUF each) at the hot spring spas. Also, there is glass/paper recycling on the main floor with the trash cans, which wasn't entirely clear to us at first. If you have two people staying and each sends Stefano your travel info separately, please communicate which reservation each person's info relates to - we had a slight miscommunication about this, which we were able to clear up but we should have been more specific. That didn't occur to us until after the fact. Finally, there isn't a dryer, but the drying rack worked well for us to dry items we washed. Highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

This Vrbo was Excellent. Great location. Very convenient walking and public transportation to all the touristy sites. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The property manager was very kind and helped every time we had a question. The Rick Stevens tour book provided was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Very nice touch to have it in the apartment. We would definitely rent this again. Very good choice.

Well appointed and easy to travel from. Close to the river and restaurants. Subway and tram were all within brief walking distance. We stayed 10 days for sight seeing and the F1 race. There is an Aldis grocery 100 yards ways. We would stay there again.

This apartment is truly wonderful - it is decorated beautifully and thought has been put into every detail including the stylish decor, artwork, and architectural details. It is clean and modern. All amenities are included and there is no lack of anything including a safe for your belongings. The beds are cozy and comfortable, as is the couch. Tv has a lot of channels, albeit most Italian (it would be nice to have some local channels). The apartment is calm and quiet...especially since it's in the heart of the city. There are two balconies, with chairs that overlook a side street. We didn't use the a/c for the first few days as the apt was pleasant, even in 80 F temps, but as the the temperatures rose we used the a/c and it worked very well. As for the area....it's very convenient! Numerous restaurants, grocery stores, banks, metros are close by, and you can walk to all the tourist spots and landmarks. The only hinderance is the main entrance to the building....it's on a main street with construction so it's not that pretty to look at, and the entrance would benefit from some sprucing up. However once you enter this grand building, it's wonderful! Giovanni was dependable and helpful, and I would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights in early July 2019. Giovanni greeted us upon arrival and explained everything to do with the property and neighborhood. He was fantastic! Giving us great tips on how to make our stay even better. The property itself was spot on. Central but quiet! Our favorite features were the architecture and decor. We felt safe staying here! What an incredible stay!

The apartment was great. They had a well equipped kitchen. Nice balcony! Very European experience!

Stefano and Giovanni were very easy to communicate with. Fantastic location, close to Astoria and Ferenciek Tere metro stations, Vaci St, ruin bars and supermarkets. Apartment very clean and modern. Very well equipped kitchen. Beds very comfortable. It is noisy when sat on the balcony and not a great view from there but still nice to be sat out and at the end of the day you are in the middle of a busy city. Once in the apartment it is very quiet due to the double doors. Arranged taxi to airport via Giovanni and the man that came to collect us was very nice and professional. Betti (cleaner) was also very lovely. Note: Extra coffee capsules available for 1000 HUF for 10 capsules. Also tourist tax of €3 per day, per person payable on arrival. One small suggestion would be to have some black out curtains at the window and door window in the smaller bedroom as my friend found the light came in and woke her up.

Es ist schon viel Positives geschrieben worden, dem ich mich gerne anschließe. Deshalb möchte ich mich auch kurz fassen: Alle eingestellten Bilder sowie die Beschreibung sind aktuell und passen zu 100 Prozent. Hervorheben möchte ich noch, dass wir sehr gut schlafen konnten, die Betten sind sehr komfortabel und es ist absolut ruhig. Organisation der Anreise und Abreise von und zum Flughafen mit dem Taxi war auch perfekt. Mein Dank an Stefano und Luca für eine unvergessliche Woche.

Awesome, comfortable and quiet (despite being off busy street) location for short walk to many great restaurants, shopping, and Budapest historic sights. Easy airport transfers arranged from/to the airport and fantastic restaurant and bakery recommendations. Overall 5 stars ⭐️

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Dadurch natürlich auch starker Verkehrslärm. Die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bei Fragen zuvorkommende Verwalterpräsenz von Luca. Jedoch sollte das Fernsehprogramm auf internationale Gäste eingestellt sein. Wir möchten auch im Urlaub Nachrichten aus Deutschland nicht nur in der Zeitung lesen oder bei ausländischen Sendern hören!

The beds were super comfortable and the sofa was solid and comfortable - could have slept another person. The condo is large and well -equipped. Luca was very helpful. The location was super convenient. Overall would not have wanted to stay anywhere else.

Owner very nice and helpful. Like many apartment buildings in Budapest, entrance is a bit off putting, but apartment is wonderful! We also felt very safe. Aldi Foods close by. Very centrally located for walking tours, dining, shopping and picking up metro😁

Perfect for two couples . It felt like we were going home each night it was so comfortable. Plus Stefano is the perfect host. He met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and gave us great advice about Budapest. Things could not have been better.

This amazing apartment is just what you need for a luxurious stay in Budapest. So close to the Elisabeth bridge. A stone's throw from the synagogue. Luca greeted us warmly and saw to our every need. He is an accomplished artist and interior decorator and it shows in the beauty of the apartment. You will love everything about this place.

One of the most beautiful apartments we’ve been, especially with its two balconies! Everything looks exactly like the pictures here. The location is right in the city center but still very quiet. Exactly as described and more ! The place is a gem in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Budapest center. It's close to everything yet once you step in the building, you love back into time with the beautiful architect and the seclusion of the inside. The apartment is beautifully designed, and has absolutely everything you need in it. It is safe and close to all the top attractions in the city as well as to restaurants and cafes. Luca was amazing. Easy to communicate with and he was very attentive and helpful. Best stay in Budapest so far. Thank you Luca !
