Good enough for one night

Location was convenient, grand cafe was nice for dinner. Breakfast nice.

Für einen Kurzurlaub gut gelegen.

Das Frühstücksbüfett war so in Ordnung, aber etwas zu teuer für das Angebot. Die Parkmöglichkeit war sehr gut.

Als zwischenübernachtung bei der Durchreise gut geeignet. Wenig Angebote von Restaurants im Ort.

Das Frühstück war ausreichend, Angebot nicht sehr vielfältig. Räumlichkeiten stilvoll.

Das Angebot im Restaurant ist nicht sehr ausgewogen. Gerne werden Menüs angeboten, wenig für den kleinen Hunger. Personal sehr aufmerksam und bemüht Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Great stay at "het Voorhuys"

Nothing to dislike! A warmhearted welcome. The same attitude continued over the two days stay.

The sink was filling up, small technical problem. Nothing big. Already reported at checking out. Oh and no mouse to say "peep in de Voorhuys." 😂

Tres bien situé au centre de la ville. Le restaurant de l'hotel est tres bien avec une bonne ambiance. Tres bon petit dejeuner egalement. Je recommande vivement cet hotel pour visiter la région. Possibilité de louer des velos.

A perfectly fine way to spend a night.

This is a fine hotel. The rooms are clean, large and modern. The facilities are as-expected and efficient. The level of service is good. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the hotel. In short: this is nothing special but a perfectly fine way to spend a night.

A great centrally located hotel

Great central location on the square which had a nice atmosphere with lots of al fresco dining. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a huge free car park. Nice hotel restaurant with very friendly staff.

A nice affordable hotel

After a long day on a boat in Gietheroon, we found this hotel. A spacious modern room, with a kettle and coffee machine. No refrigerator in the room, but it is possible to put food in the hotel's kitchen. Breakfast is quite good. 15 euro pp.There are some nice restaurants nearby. Free Parking.

The bathroom has no door. Twin beds. The hotel is near the town square and the bells are ringing every 15 minutes.

Would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again

I have stayed here previously and found that it was excellent so had no hesitation in booking here once again. I am very pleased to say that the hotel has maintained their high standards - clean and quiet rooms, very attentive and helpful staff and nice restaurant.

Enjoyable stay in Emmeloord and easy access to nearby tulip fields

The hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Emmeloord. We were greeted with a very friendly staff at check-in who also helped to book the bicycles (remember to book in advance, especially during the peak periods). The room was very spacious and superbly comfortable. Some rooms may be more exposed to noise from the street and restaurant/bar, but the room we stayed in was really fine and had no issues. We loved that the hotel is also very central in Emmeloord and within walking distances to shops and food, and within cycling distance to many of the beautiful tulip fields in the area.

It's hard for me to pick an issue, but if I had to make some points: The breakfast provided was really nice but I think some signs on the food and drinks would have been good. A bit more clarity on the charges for the bike rental rates would have also been good.

Fine place, but not for me

If you want to be in the middle of the town, this is the right place to stay. It was surprisingly quiet, although the very next night will be a carnival in front until 8 May. So glad we missed it by one day! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and adjoining restaurant were good. Also, the shower was hot with good pressure and the bed was comfortable.

The lighting in the room was very dim, especially in the bathroom, which made it not usable for anything. Also, the shower is an open space, like part of the main bedroom. No privacy at all. The decor was not my preference, but I'm sure some people like it.

great location!

tiny towels in the bathroom! food disappointing in the restaurant-mine was all beige & expensive! Tries to be too complicated & they just need to serve simple, good quality food!

Great stay.

Very good hotel nicely located in the center of Emmeloord that is active yet not too busy or noisy. Clean, nice looking, comfortable room and bed. Good sleep and breakfast. Very friendly staff.
