Ein schönes Hotel mit netten Personal und viel Natur

Frühstück war ausreichend mit Obst Müsli Brötchen Brot viele Käse Sorten Käse Wurst Marmelade Saft Lachs usw. war schön dekoriert. Zimmer sehr Groß Sauber und geräumig mit sehr schöner Aussicht nach draußen ins freie. Die Lage sehr ruhig mit viel Natur und wer etwas Action will kann mit dem Zug zur nächsten Stadt (Fahrkarten gab es kostenlos im Hotel )

Pool etwas kalt - Sauna bis zu einer bestimmten Zeit nutzbar also früh einplanen - Kaum Internet vorhanden am besten Datenvolumen mit bringen -

Très agréable séjour au calme, entourée par la nature

Très belle vue sur les montagnes dans une grande chambre très propre et très agréable, avec une petite terrasse. L’hôtel est un peu à l’écart du centre ville et il est très calme, en hauteur permettant d'avoir une très jolie vue sur Hinterzarten et les monts aux alentours. Petit déjeuner copieux et très jolie salle commune. Grande piscine agréable, avec un sauna accessible en continue. Très satisfaire de mon séjour avec un personnel très sympathique et serviable.

Je n'ai pas de commentaires négatifs, tout s'est très bien passé

Excellent séjour en forêt noire

Excellente location, très belle vue sur la montagne, chambre spacieuse et confortable, très bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner

Hotel did not meet our expectation from pictures on booking. Com

Sadly the hotel is overpriced and not as pictures looked. Steep steps to entrance to be met with a watering bucket and empty crates for bottles in the entrance. A digital key code with no staff. Don’t forget the code or locked out. This in our opinion is very impersonal and did not suit our needs. Phone leaflets if you desire to query anything but again not for us. Hotel had a smell but most likely as animal friendly and we love animals but not to the degree of smell. Very basic room and coffee machine did not work. Bathroom seems to have been recently renovated so that was good. Hairdryer in bathroom, but of low standard. Room was far too warm. Breakfast was ok. Overall some further personal touches would be good and some investment in hotel/ rooms needed to pay the current price.

Check in , ambience , room , room to warm ( maybe fans to support) parking , toiletries , coffee machine that worked, personal touches and price.

Amazing location in the black forest

The Hotel located in amazing location, in the middle of the forest with the best view the can be. Alex the manager and the team are very kind, helpful and available for any request or issue. Breakfast was very good!

A beautiful location

The owner and his mother were very welcoming and helpful. It is a lovely spot for hiking, cycling. The hotel is undergoing a refurb at the minute,

local taxes are an extra charge when you arrive. Google map direction did not work at all. This needs to be amended as it made the journey very stressful and very long.

Very good

A lovely view from the window. 15 minute downhill walk to the village for dinner either by road or one of the many footpaths surrounding the village. Quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our visit at the hotel very much :)

Great location. Very friendly stuff (family run businesses). We will definitely come back, if we ever visit the area again.

No functional WLAN access, which in this case wasn't too bothersome but might have been otherwise.

Serenity, peaceful and so beautiful. The staff are amazing. Breakfast is amazing.

You definitely need vehicle if you have mobility issues to get there and to go to town to get something to eat as the hotel only provides breakfast.

Exceptional

Calm place, no noise from cars etc., nice view of mountains and meadows. Individual care for guests by the owners. Small hotel with few guests and therefore, very peaceful stay. Good swimming-pool. Nice rooms with elegant furnishing, some pieces are older, but this is outweighed with a good taste. Beautiful ceramics everywhere, fresh flowers in the breakfast room.

Unused potential

Good location, nice room and bathroom, comfortable bed.

The pool was very cold and the sauna was turned off. You had to annouce in advance that you would like to use it. The pool temperature made it practically unasable and the reason we got for this was “Because of Putin”. Even if we do understand the current world situation, the wellness facilieties are actually not really available, so this should be announced on Booking, since the price per night is not exactly cheap and one may prefer to choose another hotel with or without a usable pool. As about the breakfast, the choice of food was really limited (no warm dishes at all). The atmosphere was rather stiff and not relaxed.

As I have already said it was good.

I think I have just had a good time and I don’t see how it could have been improved.Any questions one had were dealt with on the spot.

The mixup right at the beginning over two separate single rooms meant that in the end I had to pay for a double room, All part of life’s rich experience. The lack of a good Wi.fi was a nuisance however I went to the Black Forest, for a walking holiday and not to spend time on the Tablet.

Very good

The service here was excellent. The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was clean, breakfast great and we also enjoyed swimming pool with sauna. Fully recommended ;)

Very good

Location is great. One can go for hikes or walks without having to drive anywhere.

The swimming pool & sauna are open only until 19.00. When one goes for a whole-day walk and comes back around 16-17, there isn't much time left.

Nice hotel but lacks evening facilities

Comfortable rooms kept very clean and tidy. Traditional furnishings. Very good Covid rules and practises, properly enforced. Nice swimming pool. Flowers regularly changed in breakfast room.

No proper facilities at all for coffee in evenings, just an espresso machine in-room, and requests for kettle were refused. £5 daily charge if room fridge was used for your own drinks.

Great, we will come again, when visiting the Schwarzwald.

Despite of Corona regulations staying was pleasant and very quiet. Hospitality was great. Breakfast was continental with some local specialities from the Schwarzwald. The hotel is in 10 minutes walking distance from the center with many locations to dine. You can start multiple walking trails directly from the hotel.

WLAN could have been better, as we had a room on the side of the hotel that was a bit colder and more relaxing during the hot summer days .
