Superb

Good breakfast with a nice view. Apartment with big terrace. Car park inside the complex.

If you wanna go to the beach by foot, you might think twice, as it's not close.

Sloppiness with a view

The view over the Black Sea in this Notheastern part of the coast is unique. You have Kaliakra on the Northern side when you look out from your studio or the pools, and an eternal empty sea, no boats, no ships. The resort remains a calm, family friendly place, popular with Bulgarian, Romanian and some Scandinavian people.

This was the fourth time we stayed here and for several days. This is when you start noticing a general sloppiness in the administration of the resort. The daily cleaning of the studio is done fast, some waitresses in the café at the main pool are really not too much interested in their work. We were missing not only bulbs in the desk lamp at the bedside, but also any device to make coffee in the morning in a generally poor equiped kitchen. The dishwasher was also gone, and I vaguely remember a laundry machine from earlier visits - also not in place. The clock in the living room stood still at 5.40, nobody really noticed it. You can do away with all of this, but maybe not for the price of the otherwise spatious studio. And the matresses are old...

Large enough quiet, clean apartament, with balcony and working wi-fi, kind staff, good breakfast and restaurant also; free private parking;

Beautiful view!

I really liked the area where the resort is located. The landscape is wonderful. The terrace of the El Balcon del Mundo restaurant offers a wonderful view of the sea and the Kaliakra cape. I would return to this place especially for the coffee enjoyed on this terrace, with beautiful music in the background. The breakfast was perfect The studio offers a lot of space; it has a kitchenette with a dishwasher and everything you need; including a large dining table and chairs. The balcony is also very large, with many chairs and a sofa. I also liked the cleanliness. I noticed that there are 2 or 3 very large swimming pools in the complex; they weren't working yet, but during the summer, I think they offer a lot of space to sit at the beach. The complex is somehow isolated, on a hill with a beautiful view. You don't have any stores available in the area; only the restaurant of the complex, where you have to make a reservation in advance, if you want to have dinner there. It takes about 10-15 minutes to reach Balcik. You cannot access the beach easily. You have a lot to go down - clearly you have to use the car or walk a lot.

A great experience to return to

This resort is much more then expected, after a vacation in greece, everything was perfect, from the room to the parking place. The view was great , on the infinity pool and the sea. everything great on the restaurants , and the greatest one is balcon del mondo , with access from resort. also it is very nice that next door to kaliakria resort is a great aqua park (22-27leva/day). All pools are great and pool bar has in wk ends great food: porchetas , burgers and paella. Even if beach is very close to resort (some kaliakria bus available) on this 8days period , the pool and aqua park (2days) fulfilled the program. I highly recommend this resort as hotel or apart hotel! u can choose.

I have nothing to complain about, even if I was trying to find something wrong. All perfect.

Bad customer service up to management

The restaurants, the beach and swimming pool

No towell change, no bedsheet change and linnen, no pillow case change, nobody came to clean the apartment during our stay ,very dirty, no replace of toiletries

Awesome place!

The place is really nice, the breakfast is awesome and the pools are amazing!!

They need to be a bit more careful with the beehives around the pools and Wi-Fi in the rooms that wasn’t working. Maybe more sunbeds near the smaller pools.

Overall great experience.

Breakfast at El Balcon del Mondo restaurant. The view from the restaurant is amazing. The one bedroom apartment was great and it provided all the facilities for us.

Cleanliness - the floor was dusty and I used a wet white napkin to clean the table in the apartment and it was black afterwards.

Wonderful place.

We loved the entire stay there, the eco-trail is also a must see. Since it was October, there were hardly a couple of people in the resort, so it was really quiet. The pools were functioning as well.

We went there in October, so many of the facilities were closed, including their restaurants and bars. The closest restaurant is situated at a couple of kilometers away, but I guess that we should have expected to find the facilities closed since it was already October.

The open big terrace in the room with the sea view Restaurant with the ghreat view

We were at the end of September, when they were about to close the hotel, restaurant and pub was not working (exept breakfast that was served). That wouldn’t be a problem, but the closest place to eat or shop was 5 km away from the resort so you could do nothing without a car or a driver. If they decided to stay open for few more weeks after end of season, so keep a restaurant open, at least with some basic menu and drinks.

Very good

Good value for the money, not exceptional but fair facilities and service. The all inclusive meals and pool acces is a plus for the ones that don't want to always look for eating places nearby or for families with kids.

I've been to Kaliakria before and can compare, the resort needs some repairs and refreshing here and there, pavements, building facades, a deeper clean of the apartments and change of different elements inside the rooms. Also more authority of the staff regarding guests that "reserve" pool chairs with towels overnight or being uncivilized. Also, I've wrote a complain to hotel email and no reply, so the management should pay more attention to its guests.

Very good

The place is very nice, the view amazing, the pools are very clean, the food is excellent and the location is perfect.

The staff barely speaks English and it's difficult to have a conversation. The beds need an update, they are really uncomfortable.
